Great news, everyone!
Summit of the Wolf is now officially in beta! Stay tuned for an official trailer, along with a specific release date, coming very soon.
For now, however, I'd like to finally discuss the real-world segments of the game, which I've been promising to do for several months now.
As I've alluded to in the past, Summit of the Wolf takes place both in a fantasy setting and in the real world. While the majority of segments take place in the former environment, the latter is integral to the story. Whereas the fantasy segments could be defined as a "fairytale," the real world segments are most definitely a mystery. What happened to Ophelia, the game's protagonist? How did she end up where she is?
Concurrent to this mystery is the next chapter in the overarching metastory that has been set up since the first game in this series,
Lifestream. In this chapter of that story, we reunite with two familiar faces: Kate Ekan from
Shady Brook and Brianna Auberon from
The Filmmaker. Kate is now a patient in the hospital in which Brianna works...but why is she there? And how do these two tie together? Not all the answers to the questions you'll be asking are included in
Summit of the Wolf...but there will definitely be more than enough foreshadowing to keep you guessing until the next game in the series!
