A big hello to you new players!
Since this past weekly sale, there's been a lot of new players that have given my game a go.

Secondly, you may not be aware of everything Equin: The Lantern has to offer. I would highly recommend checking out any of our community guides but for sure make a stop and take a look at the Beginner's Guide.

While in the game itself, there's a handy tutorial section which goes over lots of different aspects of the gameplay without being super spoilery-
Since the game first arrived on Steam in 2016, ETL has received many (many) awesome content updates. Here are some quickies to consider:
The Cultist class has been tweaked and retweaked a billion times, and is now a.. erm, CULT FAVORITE-
Muggers and Thieves now open closed doors-
Padlock items can prevent this-
High level thieves can shoplift, which is just the best-
Empty Bottles can be filled at any pond, which can help lessen plague later-
Many potions can be dumped on things for various effects too-
Special Events are found behind Iron Doors like this-
500 Items with shitloads of effects and uses, including this stuff-
There's an activity log tracker, good for keeping track of things of course-
New enemy statuses like petrification and sleep-
Find the game way too easy? Try the Red Shirt challenge, you sadist-
And yada yada all the live long day. If you're totally bored later you can also check out ETL's gigantic news log, which has 1,000,000 updates such as these.
I received a negative / not recommended review of the game a little while ago and his concern was that the game has many flickering images which could be problematic with people with epilepsy. I absolutely agreed with this, so there's now a new splash page at the start to warn those who may be affected-
