There’s dancing, drinking and questionable work environments on the menu. Rocktoberfest celebrations will last until Tuesday, October 7th at 13.00 CEST.

We’ve shared more details in the preview post, but here’s the quick overview:[/p]

• [p] Earn yourself the brand new Salted Snackmeister hat by completing an assignment that is almost considered not dangerous. [/p]
• [p] Grab all the hats from previous Rocktoberfest celebrations, if you partied too hard and forgot your hat(s)![/p]
• [p] Help out Lloyd by bringing back a Best Wurst Beer mug from the caves. Management will award Double XP for helping save the cost of buying new mugs. [/p]
• [p] Abyss Bar? More like Abyss Barn. The Space Rig has been decorated with hay bales, sausages and pretzels. As tasty as they might look, they’re not edible.

But just because it’s a celebration, doesn’t mean it’s a vacation. There’s no paid time off, and you pay for your own beer. Now let's see what's on this year's menu! This year’s Rocktoberfest will introduce the new Salted Snackmeister, complete with dangling pretzels! Complete the event mission in the Mission Terminal and get your very own Salted Snackmeister hat, yours to keep forever.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Lederhosen back on the menu[/p][p]If you don’t already have these fancy and festive Glyphid-leather trousers in your wardrobe, this is your chance to acquire them. Complete the ‘Hunt for Lederhosen’ Assignment and you’ll be the new owner of a pair of party pantaloons! [/p][p][/p][p]Hats from previous events[/p][p]In addition to the Lederhosen, completing the assignment mentioned above will also grant you a fine selection of hats from previous Rocktober celebrations (Including both Oktoberfest and Rocktoberfest editions). [/p][p][/p][p]Best Wurst Beer[/p][p]This timeless snack-in-a-drink special will be brought back for a limited time again this year, due to overwhelming demand that we’re still struggling to understand. [/p][p]It’s the “Cheers” you can chew on![/p][p][/p][p]Double XP[/p][p]The Abyss Bar is short on Best Wurst Beer mugs, and new mugs are not included in the budget. Instead, Mission Control will award Double XP to any dwarf who brings back a Best Wurst Beer mug from the caves. We’ll give ‘em a quick rinse and they should be good to go.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]

[p]Decorated Space Rig[/p][p]Grab your dwarven friends and visit the decorated Abyss Bar, complete with kickable sausages, pretzels and hay bales. Enjoy a Rocktoberfest special, the Best Wurst Beer, and celebrate good times in good company!

In space, there are no vacations. But when you work for a company like Deep Rock Galactic, the work is so fulfilling that you nearly forget you were even wondering why the contract didn’t say anything about time off in the first place.

Speaking of terrific mandatory work events, it’s almost time for the Space Beach Party seasonal event in Deep Rock Galactic! The party starts Thursday, July 31st at 13:00 CEST and runs for two weeks.

Here’s what’s coming:

[h2]The hat you have to work for[/h2]

The best hats must be earned by the sweat of your own brow. Then you can put it on and absorb more brow sweat while you continue working, because that Bismor’s not gonna mine itself.

This Space Beach Party, you can earn the new Swim Instructor hat! Just complete the associated assignment in the Mission Terminal and it’s all yours.

[h2]Summery hats from years past[/h2]

In case you are a new employee at Deep Rock Galactic, or you avoided your work responsibilities last summer, you’ve got old editions of Space Beach Party hats to collect.

Management has gracefully dug up some surplus stock for you to collect. Not for free, of course. Just one work assignment, and all previous Space Beach Party hats will be permanently added to your inventory.

[h2]Another pool floaty fiasco[/h2]

Every other interplanetary courier firm was off on vacation, so the Deep Rock Galactic corporation was once again forced to enlist the services of Longbeard Freight to manage a priceless shipment of inflatable pool toys.

Unfortunately, in what many are already calling “the bummer of the summer,” those bunglers at Longbeard have once again crashed their freighter and lost the entire load of pool floaties throughout the caves of Hoxxes.

We need your help. During each mission, we’ll need you to locate and deposit a lost pool floaty toy. If you can help, Management will reward you and your whole team with a Double Performance Pass Point Bonus.

[h2]Sensational Space Rig decorations[/h2]

Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper Space Beach Party without festive decorations. When the event starts, you’ll find the Space Rig fully decked out with tropical palm leaves, beach inflatables, water balloons and paper luau lanterns. We’ve even created a miniature beach at the Abyss Bar by dumping a mixture of sand and boron on the dance floor! Employees are encouraged to not stand on this mixture for more than 90 seconds.

We have hopefully fixed the issue where mods would be disabled after reloading the game. In addition we also added a Refresh button to the modding menu, that should help resolve various issues when there are issues connecting between the game and mod.io.
