• Summer-themed decoration for the Space Rig, along with a playable steel drum and water balloons
  
• Double Season XP Bonus when you deposit one of the pool floats that have been lost in the caves of Hoxxes
  
• Two new assignments for the event: The Hoxxes Summer Cruise and Last Year’s Summer Fashion
  
• The Great White Delight hat, obtainable upon completion of the Hoxxes Summer Cruise assignment. And of course, last year’s hats are obtainable by completing Last Year’s Summer Fashion

Great news! Management has signed off on an increase in the celebratory budget, and is happy to announce that the Space Beach Party will make its way to the Space Rig on August 3rd, 1 PM CEST (Ending August 17th, 1 PM CEST).

Get ready for some late summer shenanigans, and put on your most festive garments for this sunniest of celebrations. Here is what you can expect:

It is cold out here in space, so Management has provided you with work-related activities sure to get you sweating. Complete this special assignment for some warming rewards, including a special hat - The Great White Delight! Don’t miss this jaws-ome addition to your wardrobe, Miners. So remember to fin-ish this assignment before the event ends.

Management also found some extra stock of last year’s hats, and have decided to award them through completion of the Last Year’s Fashion assignment. In case you forgot those exquisite designs, check last year’s post.

While an actual pool was WAY outside of budget, Management ordered a shipment of pool floats so you can get the feeling of being by the poolside - without an actual pool, of course. The shipment is currently en route, being delivered by…

Longbeard Freight…

New plan, Miners! Once Longbeard Freight inevitably crashes the shipment into Hoxxes, Management will pay out double Performance Points upon retrieval of pool floats during a mission. Let’s turn those lemons into lemonade!

Enjoy the breezy, coastline feel provided by the Space Rig ambient sound system while throwing back a cold brew at the bar. And follow it up with a jam session on the company-provided steel drum or a water balloon fight. Why, it’s almost like a day at the beach.

- Optimized septic spreader puddles
- Fixed a bug that caused Subata 120 neuro-corrosive toxic catalyst exploders and lootbugs to briefly disappear before their own explosion
- Fixed beard and armor clipping that was introduced in last patch
- Fixed a bug that caused Corrupter boss music to keep playing
- Attempted fix for the triple bedazzled beard to clip less with armor
- Fixed a bug that caused Weapon stats to not update in Equipment Terminal when changing a non-selected class
- Fixed MC voice line in refinery mission after the liquid morkite extraction is done, if there are contagion spikes in the level
- Fixed a bug that caused shield sound to only play for host
- Fixed randomization of pickaxe when previewing classes
- Fixed that Corruptor worm pods did not spawn any worms
- Fixed a bug that caused the version number UI to be enabled on restart if it was previously turned off
- Fixed an issue where crossbow bolts would behave weirdly when shot at an elevator plant
- Fixed incorrect voice line playing when laser pointing maggots while Bosco is there
- Added 2 missing scrip by increasing plague challenges from 13 to 15
- Added a prompt to follow the Ghost Ship Games steam page when exiting the game
- Lowered the chances of MC, Bosco and others getting a highscore on the JettyBoot Arcade
- Fixed that plasma burster missiles were not working properly as client
- Fixed sleeveless using only hosts options in caves, should now handle local users settings

Known bugs:
- Endscreen sometimes has shows the wrong sleeveless version

Just before the launch of Season 04, you may remember that we added a new track to the game: Journey Of The Prospector. Now, for those of you who have bought the Soundtrack on Steam, we have great news for you - it has now now been added to your soundtrack!



This new piece of DRG music was one of the last contributions of DRG Sound Designer Troels, as he is embarking on a new chapter of his career. You can read all about that in our previous post/tribute to Troels.

Enjoy this sonic addition to the game, as you get back to fighting the Rockpox, Miners! And a hearty Rock and Stone to Troels for the extra 6 minutes and 45 seconds of awesome music to DRG.
