Hello friends,

We are working on the Enhanced Edition of Atom RPG, where we plan to update the engine, visuals, and overall comfort of the game.



For now, please check out Patch 1.191, available in beta:

• Moved to an updated engine
  
• Fixed issues with settings and game launch on some systems
  
• Improved grass rendering, every blade of grass now casts a shadow
  
• Added camera movement with the middle mouse button
  
• Started building a backlog for the Enhanced Edition
  

In November, Patch 1.191 will move to the main branch, while version 1.189 will be moved to a separate "Vanilla" branch for those who prefer the original version without changes.
The vanilla version will remain available at all times.

Patch 1.191 will also be released on all other platforms by the end of 2025.

In version 1.192, we plan to release a bugfix update and correct many materials that were not physically accurate. The game should look even better as a result.

As you know our team is currently busy with developing Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy.
However, that doesn't mean that we lost any love for our first series of games.
We believe ATOM RPG has great potential for the future, and although right now the continuation of the series is on halt, we really want to have your opinion for the moment we are ready to move things along. Hence, this little survey has been created. While it won't take a lot of your time, its results will help us in finding the best solutions for the sequel when the planning stage for it commences.

Dnešním dnem bychom vám s potěšením představili kompletní český překlad hry, o který mnozí z vás žádali. Tento překlad, zahrnující více než 1 milion slov (pro vaši informaci je to 2140 stránek A4, což skoro 2x více než má trilogie Pán prstenů), mají na svědomí dva talentovaní překladatelé: Lukáš "Spid3rCZ" Potužník a Michal "Mana8585" Maňák. Hello, we have added a Czech translation to the game.
The version also includes a hotfix:
- Fixes for gamepad controls where a turn was randomly skipped.
- Added a new API modkit for localization.
- Added a fix for video playback on Windows 10/11 N Edition.

As some of you might have noticed, we're taking a bit of a break from the ATOM series by dipping our toes into our next favorite cRPG genre: low-magic fantasy with Swordhaven: Iron Conspiracy.

While not related to ATOM (at least on the surface... wink-wink) Swordhaven is as near and dear to our hearts as any of our previous games. We really hope it establishes us as more than a one-note developer and helps us get on a new technical level with all of our upcoming projects.
There are plenty of improvements in Swordhaven that are already spotted by the players of the free demo we put out: better dialogue, improved combat mechanics, a richer skill system, graphics-related innovations and more. This is why we are sure that if you enjoyed ATOM and Trudograd you might just find your next cRPG fix in Swordhaven before we begin ATOM 2 in the future.

We're currently running a Kickstarter campaign for Swordhaven, so please feel free to check it out, at least for the comprehensive explanation of what it's all about and a free playable demo on the campaign page.
