[h2]New Leaderboard Event: Operations with Flagships[/h2]


As we approach the final days of the various time-limited mechanics introduced earlier this year, we're giving one of them a heartfelt send-off with a custom Leaderboard event!

To participate, challenge the mighty flagships and deal as much cumulative total damage across multiple battles for these Operations as you can until the release of Update 14.7. The top-100 scorers will shovel home a not-too-shabby 20,000 Coal!

Tie a neat bow around Update 14.6 with a round—or lots of rounds—of Brawls! Here's the format:
  • 2v2; Tier X ships
  • No more than 1 battleship, 1 cruiser, or 1 destroyer per team
  • No aircraft carriers or submarines
  • Divisions of up to 2 players

[h2]Early Access Guide: New U.S. Destroyers[/h2]


The most fearsome gunslingers this side of the mighty Mississippi have drifted into Port out of a mysterious cloud of smoke. Meet Hughes, Osborne, Christopher, and Burrows—four new destroyers coming soon to the U.S. Tech Tree—but you don't have to wait to try them out!

The main features of the ships are:
  • Their fearsome guns, which have long range, high damage per minute, and the ability to fire both HE and SAP shells
  • A unique Smoke Generator with a time pool instead of the usual "charge" concept—a flexible tool for both defensive and offensive actions.


You can get these destroyers from sequential bundles available in the Armory for American Tokens, with Burrows available for Doubloons.

You can get American Tokens by purchasing random bundles with Doubloons, by completing levels of the U.S. Destroyers Event Pass, and by completing personal challenges throughout the update.

Here's a quick breakdown of some of the most notable new content coming in Update 14.7:
  • In the Name of Tomorrow: Immerse yourself in historically inspired weekly Operations that weave together to tell the story of the run-up to the end of World War II on this, its 80th anniversary.



  • Aircraft Updates: A substantial first wave of changes to aviation mechanics and aircraft carriers are coming in 14.7, including manual control of secondary guns on carriers and standardization of aerial detectability.



  • Laffey at the Dockyard: U.S. Tier X destroyer Laffey, AKA “The Ship That Would Not Die” due to her reputation for robustness during World War II, will be available to construct at the Dockyard!

[h2]Say "Farewell" to the Experimental Ships With a Lucrative Leaderboard![/h2]


During the first week of Update 14.6, you can join a leaderboard event dedicated to Tier X cruiser Varese from the second group of experimental ships. Compete against other players to achieve the highest total damage in a single Random Battle. If you rank in the top 25, you'll earn famous destroyer USS Johnston, with the following 75 places granting large sums of Coal.

Everyone who fights at least one Random Battle at the helm of Varese and deals damage will not only be considered as participants of the leaderboard, but they will also receive the guaranteed participation reward: 40,000 Elite Commander XP.

[h2]New Ranked Battles Season[/h2]


A new Ranked Battles season is already in session! Gear up now and remember—the road to the cusp of Gold League is paved with sweet, sweet Steel!

  • Bronze League: 6v6; Tier VII–VIII ships
  • Silver League: 6v6; Tier IX–X ships; no submarines allowed
  • Gold League: 6v6; Tier X ships; no aircraft carriers allowed


[h2]Unbreakable Line Respawns in Update 14.6![/h2]


Unbreakable Line, a battle type that lets you quickly return to the battle if your ship is sunk, is still available in Update 14.6! The rules remain mostly the same as in the previous iteration. The main change is that this time, you can sail Tier IX and X cruisers, battleships, and destroyers into the action.
