Halloween: Twilight Battle

Have you already succeeded in Saving Transylvania and fending off malevolent forces in Operation Sunray in the Darkness? The Halloween activities don't end there!

Now, you yourself can stand at the helm of one of the ships of the Forces of Darkness and feel their ominous power. The Twilight Battle—something you may well be familiar with from the Halloween 2018 celebrations—is back with a reworked interface and visual effects.

Rules
Starts: Wed. 19 Oct. 07:00 CEST (UTC+2) Ends: Wed. 02 Nov. 07:00 CEST (UTC+2)
Two teams of seven players each clash against each other playing Twilight Fleet ships equipped with unusual consumables. Battles are fought on the map from Operation Sunray in the Darkness. The key objective is to destroy all enemy ships.

[expand] [/expand]
The water area is gradually being consumed by the Filth, and the safe zone for ships is continuously shrinking. Ships outside the safe zone take varying amounts of continuous damage, depending on the ship type.

[expand] [/expand]

Twilight Fleet
From the outset, the following ships will be available to you:
 • IX Ghoul under the command of Dr. Van Schubs.
 • IX Octopus under the command of David Jones.
 • IX Leviathan under the command of Max Strauss.

[expand] [/expand]
To obtain the other five ships and Commanders, you'll need to complete special combat missions in the Twilight Battle:
 • IX Razorworm with Commander Boris Veber will become available if you earn 5,000 Base XP playing Ghoul.
 • IX Scarab with Commander Rick H. O'Tep will become available if you earn 5,000 Base XP playing Octopus.
 • IX Varg with Commander J.G. Mephisteufel will become available if you earn 5,000 Base XP playing Leviathan.
 • IX Steel Rat with Commander James D. Breese will become available if you earn 10,000 Base XP.
 • IX Rasputin with Commander Chernomor will become available if you earn 25,000 Base XP.

[expand] [/expand]
All Commanders come with 21 skill points. The Commanders earn Elite Commander XP, which can be spent on training Commanders of the regular in-game nations.
With the release of Update 0.11.10, all Twilight Battle ships and Commanders will be removed from your accounts. Any XP accumulated on the special ships will be transfered to I Orlan.

In addition to Damage Control Party, ships of the Twilight Fleet are equipped with special consumables. Almost all of these have special color indications and visual effects, depending on their functions.
 • Yellow indicates defensive consumables.
 • Green indicates consumables that restore HP.
 • Red indicates consumables that restore a ship's HP when dealing damage to enemy ships.
 • Turquoise indicates consumables that enhance ship characteristics.
 • Orange indicates consumables that place certain limitations on the target.
 • Consumables that can be used in regular battles have no color indication.
If your remaining allies are fewer in number than the enemy ships, the efficiency of HP-restoring consumables with red and green indications doubles.
Ships of the Twilight Fleet

Ghoul
IX Ghoul is a stealthy destroyer with long-range but slow torpedoes. She is perfect for raiding deep behind enemy lines.
Covert Repair reduces the ship's detectability by half and restores 100 HP per second as long as she remains undetected by the enemy.
Invincible Engine Boost temporarily increases the ship's maximum speed. While this consumable is active, the ship cannot be destroyed. It also provides temporary protection against the Filth effects.
Razorworm
IX Razorworm is an artillery-focused destroyer with short-range torpedoes. She can develop tremendous speed, making her a perfect flank fighter. Thanks to her special consumables, Razorworm can be a hard target to hit.
Clubhaul immediately makes the ship take a U-turn and recovers 2,000 HP.
Dispersion System reduces the accuracy of any enemy ships firing at you with main battery guns.
Steel Rat
IX Steel Rat is a support destroyer. When close to other ships, she can put up a smoke screen to obscure them or refill their consumable charges. She's also capable of restoring the allies' HP with her main battery shells and quick torpedoes.
Restoration Charge reduces the reload time of the ship's main battery guns by a factor of four. Each time you hit an ally while the consumable is active, you restore 1,000 HP for the allied ship you hit and 500 HP for Steel Rat herself.
Emergency Reserve provides all allies within a 5 km radius with an additional charge of each consumable mounted on their ships.
Smoke Generator
Octopus
IX Octopus is a cruiser with long-range main battery guns, a slow rate of fire, and high chances of setting the enemy on fire with her shells.
Heal Radiance restores 10,000 HP for all allied ships.
Surveillance Radar with great action range.
Scarab
IX Scarab is a close-quarters combat cruiser equipped with Hydroacoustic Search. With proper and timely use of her consumables, Scarab is very difficult to destroy due to her ability to quickly restore her HP.
Grim Vampire Drain restores 1,000 HP for her each time she hits an enemy ship.
Damage Converter converts all incoming damage into restored HP while active.
Hydroacoustic Search
Leviathan
IX Leviathan is a battleship that boasts high accuracy at long ranges, turning her into an extremely dangerous opponent for all ship types. It's advisable to keep her close to allies so you can restore her own and allies' HP using her Repair Zone consumable when the situation requires.
Infernal Accuracy significantly increases the firing accuracy of the ship's main battery guns.
Repair Zone creates a repair zone within a 5 km radius from the ship that recovers the ship's own HP and any allied ships' HP at the rate of 500 HP per second.
Varg
IX Varg is a close-quarters combat battleship with powerful secondary guns. She can become invulnerable to enemy shells and quickly restore her own HP. The more enemies that are nearby, the stronger Varg becomes.
Energy Shield makes the ship temporarily invulnerable to any type of damage, except for damage from the Filth.
Matter Restorer improves the ship's maneuverability and creates a zone with a radius of 5 km around the ship that restores 300 HP each second. Every enemy ship located within the zone adds 300 more hit points to the restoration bonus.
Rasputin
IX Rasputin is a battleship with a solid HP pool. She cannot boast of having a great firing range or high main battery gun traverse speed and is therefore inefficient in countering long-range ships and destroyers at the initial stages of battle. However, when the safe zone shrinks, her enemies will be forced to come closer, and they will have a really tough time in this situation.
Ghastly Vampire Drain restores her HP by 50% of damage dealt to the enemy.
Signal Jamming Generator prevents enemy ships from activating their consumables.

Аудитория "Мира танков" не сократилась после разделения и переименования игры в России и Беларуси

13 октября World of Tanks, World of Warships и World of Tanks: Blitz поменяли в России и Беларуси названия на "Мир танков", "Мир кораблей" и Tanks Blitz соответственно, что связано с уходом Wargaming из этих регионов и передаче обязанностей по развитию проектов студии Lesta Games.
