Halloween: Nightmare Operations
Halloween is at our doorstep, and that can only mean one thing—the Forces of Darkness are preparing to slink out from the shadows and drench the world in fear! You are the only one that can stand in their way!Celebrate Halloween this year by getting involved in the following activities:
- Operations Saving Transylvania and Sunray in the Darkness.
- The Twilight Battle temporary battle type (you may remember this from Halloween 2018!). Twilight descends upon us 2 weeks after the release of Update 0.11.9.
In this article, we're going to take a closer look at the Operations. You can expect more details about the Twilight Battle to come in a separate dedicated article.
Operation Saving Transylvania will be available as Operation of the Week in the first week of the update; Sunray in the Darkness—in the second week. Players will also have an opportunity to team up with their friends in a Division and fight evil throughout the entirety of Update 0.11.9! Both Operations will be available at the normal difficulty level only.
During Update 0.11.9, the standard Operations are available only for players in Divisions. With the release of Update 0.11.10, Random Operations will become available again.
In the game client, Operations of the Week will be displayed as Active Operations.[h2]Saving Transylvania[/h2]
The main task in this Operation is to escort a ship called Transylvania on her winding route to safe harbor. On the way, you must protect her from attacking catapults and Zikasa ships possessed by the Darkness. At the end of the route, players will face the final boss—the menacing battleship Rasputin.
For Operation Saving Transylvania, players can look forward to helming the following special ships manned by Commanders with 21 skill points:
- Destroyer
III Blade with Commander Abraham V. Hellsinger
- Battleship
III Jackal with Commander Henry J. Hide
- Cruiser
III Igor with Commander Victor F. Einstein
Halloween Commanders earn Elite Commander XP, which can be spent on training Commanders of the in-game nations.

[/expand][h3]Primary task[/h3]
Escort and protect Transylvania during her escape through the Portal.
[h3]Secondary tasks[/h3]
- Transylvania must not lose 50% or more of her HP during the voyage.
- Destroy at least 16 Zikasa ships.
- Neutralize all catapults on the map.
- Transylvania must not stop until reaching the end of the route. To ensure that this condition is completed, at least one player should always remain near the ship.
- Sink battleship Rasputin.
Each secondary task fulfilled increases the reward for completing the primary task.

[/expand] [hr][/hr][h2]Sunray in the Darkness[/h2]
Transylvania and her saviors have returned to their home waters of the Silver Spear Archipelago, but the Forces of Darkness are coming after them by breaking through the Portal. Your task is to hold the undead off!
Security towers will help you in battle and try to seal the Portal. You need to protect the towers from enemy ships. Along with monsters, the Filth—a dense fog—is leaking through the Portal and endangering life itself. Be careful: while in the Filth, your ship takes damage each second. The amount of damage you receive depends on your ship type. Besides this, visibility and ship detectability decrease significantly in the Filth. At the same time, the Filth benefits your boss enemies—battleship Rasputin and aircraft carrier The Great Gorgon—by restoring their hit points and reducing the amount of damage they take.
For Operation Sunray in the Darkness, we'll provide players with the following ships manned by Commanders with 21 skill points:
- Destroyer X Urashima with Commander Mina Hurray
- Cruiser X Svyatozar with Commander Ivan K. Ulibin
- Battleship X Magnu-S with Commander Klaus V. Teslau
Halloween Commanders earn Elite Commander XP, which can be spent on training Commanders of the in-game nations.

Protect the towers until they seal the ominous Portal to another dimension.
[h3]Secondary tasks[/h3]
- Successfully defend at least two towers.
- Sink battleship Rasputin.
- Sink aircraft carrier The Great Gorgon.
- Destroy 30 enemy ships in the Filth.
- Successfully defend Transylvania.
Each secondary task fulfilled increases the reward for completing the primary task.

[/expand]Please note that you can only play special ships in Operations!
With the release of Update 0.11.10, all special ships will be removed from your account. Once the event is over, any XP earned playing the special ships will be transferred to Tier I cruiser
I Orlan.
[h2]Rewards[/h2]
Throughout Update 0.11.9, you’ll have access to a special chain of combat missions that will be updated weekly. By earning Base XP in Operations, you’ll receive expendable economic bonuses and Jack-o’-Lantern containers.
