Public Test of Update 0.11.2: Round 3

Captains!

It's now much simpler to participate in the Public Test—you can log in using your main account. To do so, select Public Test in the Game Instance section of the Wargaming Game Center. You'll receive Community Tokens as a reward for participating in the Public Test. These can be exchanged for Premium ships, permanent camouflages, Supercontainers, and other in-game items!

Update 0.11.2 brings the Savage Battle—a new temporary battle type—as well as submarines and other new features. Take a look at the Developer Bulletin, and welcome to the Test! See you on the Public Test Server!

Captains, thank you for participating in the Public Test of Update 0.11.2! Since this Update is particularly complex and packed with content, we decided to go outside the boundary of our usual PT structure and host a third session to ensure maximum stability for all players. As always, your feedback helps us to improve the version and fix bugs. Check out the changelog and join the third session of the Public Test!
[h3]Changelog[/h3]
  • The game client has been stabilized and bugs that caused it to crash have been fixed.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed submarines to receive “Hits to citadel” ribbons.
  • Fixed a bug causing VIII Tallinn’s camouflage to not be fully displayed.
  • Balance changes have been applied to the Savage Battle mode, as a result of which the Barracuda faction was strengthened.
  • Balance changes were made to some test ships and to submarines. Details can be found at our Development Blog.
  • Fixed visual bugs in the port of Taranto.
  • Fixed bugs relating to the display of the different submarine states and their associated parameters on the minimap, tooltips, and UI.
  • Fixed a bug where when changing the type of torpedoes on a submarine, information about the ability to hit a target was incorrectly updated.
  • Fixed other minor bugs.

[h2]Combat Missions and Rewards[/h2]
  • The rewards for activities on the Public Test Server may differ from those on the Live Server.
  • Any due rewards will automatically be credited to your account within a few days of the release of the new update.
  • Once the Public Test begins, the starting ships for the Savage Battle event will appear on your accounts.
    By progressing through combat missions on the Public Test Server, you can earn Community Tokens.

  • At the start of the Public Test, every participant will have all researchable Tier VI and VIII ships, helmed by Commanders with 19 skill points, credited to their PT accounts.
  • 500,000,000 Credits; 30,000 Doubloons; 250,000 Coal, and 90 days of Warships Premium Account.
  • 50 signals of all types (except for special signals) will also be added to your PT account.
    If you fought at least one battle on the Public Test Server during the 0.11.1 Public Test, your account will be copied from the Live Server to the Public Test Server.

  • In the first round, many testers experienced game crashes. For the second round, we’ve done some bugfixing to stabilize the client. Thank you for your feedback.
  • Changed the colors of the different teams' icons in Savage Battle — now they are more easily distinguishable from each other.
  • Balance changes applied to the Savage Battle mode: the Moray Eel faction has been reinforced, the Octopus faction was weakened, and changes were made to the post-battle economy of ships based on testing results.
  • Fixed incorrect detectability settings for submarines.
  • Fixed and issue that caused ships to get stuck near islands on the map Neighbors.
  • Fixed a bug that made the researching of ships in bulk work incorrectly.
  • Fixed visual bugs in the Flooded City port.
  • Fixed the incorrect working of the Top Grade Gunner skill.
  • Balance changes were made to Superships, Hornet, submarines, and depth charges. Further details can be found in our Development Blog.
  • Fixed several other minor bugs.

Compensation for technical issue in 0.11.1

As you already know, we discovered some bugs after the release of Update 0.11.1, among which were an increase in crashes and a longer loading time on startup, as well as the impossibility to open the Armory for some players. 

Our team has already found solutions to these problems and most of them were fixed last week with the release of patch 0.11.1.1.

We’d like to thank you for your constructive feedback, which helped us to quickly identify these problems and begin working on fixes as swiftly as possible.

As compensation for the inconvenience caused, we’re crediting 2 Wargaming Containers10 Mediterranean Tokens, 2 DragonRed DragonOuroboros and Hydra signals to all players who logged in to the game between February 16 and 25, as well as to everyone who encountered technical problems with the Armory between February 6 and 17.
    Compensation will be credited to the accounts of all affected players within a week.
