[h2]The Trident Awards[/h2]

With the beginning of the new year, it's time to look back and reflect on what we have all been through together.
The Trident Awards is an Awards Ceremony spanning numerous categories that you, the players, can vote on. Some categories allow you to submit your own candidates as well.
Cast your votes on the Official Discord between January 10th and January 24th.

Players who participate in the voting will be eligible for various prizes, including 20 each of the following:

[h2]New Tech Tree Dutch Cruisers in Early Access[/h2]

Set sail at the helms of Jaarsveld; M. Van Coehoorn; and Utrecht in Early Access! Our new Dutch cruisers are armed with numerous 128 mm guns boasting impressive range, ballistics, and improved HE penetration. With devastating Airstrike, useful Engine Boost, and a rapid-cooling Repair Party, these mobile artillery and aerial assault platforms excel at long-range engagements. Just steer clear of close combat due to their lighter armor and smaller HP pools!

[h2]Early Access to Dutch Cruisers[/h2]

Early Access to a new line of Dutch light cruisers begins with the start of Update 14.0.
Branch highlights

This line features 128 mm main battery guns with good range and ballistics.
For this caliber, their AP shells can deal good damage, while their HE shells have good penetration capabilities but leave much to be desired in terms of damage and fire-starting chances.
The ships are also armed with a signature Dutch Airstrike with a fast cooldown, long range, and the ability to reach the target relatively quickly. On the flip side, the squadron size is only small.
The line boasts good concealment and strong AA defenses, and the ships also come equipped with Engine Boost and a Repair Party with a short cooldown.
As for their weaknesses, ships of the line have small HP pools and weak armor.

[h2]Dutch Cruisers Event Pass[/h2]

To celebrate the arrival of these three beauties in our virtual seas, we've prepared a Dutch-themed Event Pass for you.

The first progression line offers rewards like the Flying Dutchman permanent camouflage, Royal Netherlands Navy permanent camouflages for
VII Eendracht, VIII Haarlem, and newcomer cruiser VIII Jaarsveld as the final reward.

Unlocking the second progression line for 2,500 Doubloons will allow you to claim even more themed items. You’ll immediately receive the Lion's Heart permanent camouflage for
VIII Jaarsveld, and progressing down the line will bring you Royal Netherlands Navy permanent camouflages for IX Johan de Witt and X Gouden Leeuw.

[h2]Operations with Flagships[/h2]

Throughout Update 14.0, you can participate in Operations with flagships, available as a separate battle type. There are three types of flagships—Incendiary Specialist, Torpedo Master, and Iron Fist—all boasting increased HP and provide bots in the nearby area with particular effects.
Taking down these formidable flagships will require you to take advantage of the knowledge that each of them is particularly vulnerable to a certain type of damage. Make sure to choose which ship to deploy in each battle carefully, based on the enemy's weaknesses. When making your choices, keep in mind that you'll only face flagships of a specific type per week for the first 3 weeks. Your most versatile ships will be best suited for the battles of the fourth week, as you'll face all three types of flagships!
