In Update 0.9.12, players will be able to start building a new Japanese battleship, Hizen. IX Hizen is a variant of a superbattleship project that preceded the development of the Yamato-class ships. The ship is armed with twelve 410 mm guns placed in four turrets. Having such an atypical number of guns for a high-tier Japanese battleship allows her to deal impressive damage per salvo.

[h2]Rules of the Event[/h2]

• The construction process at the Dockyard comprises 26 phases.
  
• These shipbuilding phases can be completed by progressing through the Dockyard combat missions, or by spending 1,950 doubloons to complete each phase.
  
• If you want to complete shipbuilding phases at a discount, you can purchase Starter Packs: ten shipbuilding stages in exchange for 9,950 doubloons and four shipbuilding stages in exchange for 5,000 doubloons.
  
• The Dockyard combat missions span two updates—0.9.12 and 0.10.0. After that, you can still complete phases by spending doubloons until the end of Update 0.10.1.
  
• In total, you can pass through 22 out of 26 shipbuilding phases by progressing through Dockyard combat missions.
  
• You'll receive II Tachibana and V Yahagi in the Winter permanent camouflage, 6-skill-point Commanders, and Port slots as rewards for completing the 5th and 15th shipbuilding phases respectively.
  
• Completing the last four phases will reward you with 10,000 Coal; one Santa's Mega Gift container; 2,000 Steel; and IX Hizen in the War Paint camouflage with a Port slot, Commander with 10 skill points, and commemorative flag.

• Completing other phases will bring you Santa's Gift and Santa's Big Gift containers, the New Year permanent camouflage for Tier IX ships, the new Winter Strands expendable camouflages, and other valuable items.

If you already have II Tachibana in your Port, then upon obtaining her again, you'll receive compensation in the form of 1,425,000 credits; a Port slot; the Winter permanent camouflage for Tachibana, and a Commander with 6 skill points.

If you already have V Yahagi in your Port, then upon obtaining her again, you'll receive compensation in the form of 4,000 doubloons; a Port slot; the Winter permanent camouflage for Yahagi; and a Commander with 6 skill points.

If you complete the construction of IX Hizen by spending doubloons, make sure to keep progressing through the Dockyard combat missions anyway—completing each phase will bring you 400 Research Points and 200 Steel.


[h2]Combat Missions[/h2]
The new game event tasks you with completing 56 combat missions spread across seven groups. The first group will become available with the release of Update 0.9.12, while those that follow will be unlocked on a weekly basis.
Completing each group, except for the last one, will progress you through three shipbuilding phases:

• Two shipbuilding phases are completed by accomplishing specific missions in a group.
  
• One shipbuilding phase can be completed by finishing the entire group.

Completing the last group will progress you through four shipbuilding phases— two for specific missions and two more for finishing the group.

The Dockyard combat missions will remain available until the release of Update 0.10.1. Detailed information about the mission completion criteria can be found in the game client.

[h2]Rewards[/h2]
By progressing through the Dockyard combat mission groups, you can complete 22 out of 26 shipbuilding phases and obtain the corresponding rewards at the Dockyard.
By finishing the first two combat mission groups, you can complete up to six shipbuilding phases and obtain the following rewards:

• II Tachibana with a Port slot, the Winter permanent camouflage, and a Commander with 6 skill points
  
• 1x Santa's Gift container
  
• 2,000 Coal
  
• 1 day of Warships Premium Account
• 10x Winter Strands camouflages

Finishing five out of seven combat mission groups will allow you to complete up to 15 shipbuilding phases and obtain:

• V Yahagi with a Port slot, the Winter permanent camouflage, and a Commander with 6 skill points
  
• II Tachibana with a Port slot, the Winter permanent camouflage, and a Commander with 6 skill points
  
• 1x Santa's Big Gift container
  
• 1x Santa's Gift container
  
• 2,000 Coal
  
• 40x special signals
  
• 10,000 Free XP
  
• 2 days of Warships Premium Account
• 15x Winter Strands camouflages

By finishing all the combat mission groups, you'll complete 22 shipbuilding phases and obtain:

• V Yahagi with a Port slot, the Winter permanent camouflage, and a Commander with 6 skill points
  
• II Tachibana with a Port slot, the Winter permanent camouflage, and a Commander with 6 skill points
  
• 2x Santa's Big Gift containers
  
• 1x Santa's Gift container
  
• 1x New Year permanent camouflage for Tier IX ships
  
• 2,000 Coal
  
• 80x special signals
  
• 10,000 Free XP
  
• 2 days of Warships Premium Account
• 25x Winter Strands camouflages

In order to complete the shipbuilding process entirely, in addition to progressing through all the combat mission groups, you'll need to spend doubloons to progress through any four shipbuilding phases.

• The reward for completing the 23rd shipbuilding phase is 10,000 Coal.
  
• The 24th phase brings you a Santa's Mega Gift container.
  
• The 25th phase—2,000 Steel.
  
• By completing the 26th shipbuilding phase, you'll earn IX Hizen in the War Paint camouflage, together with a Port slot, Commander with 10 skill points, and commemorative flag.

If you decide to complete the construction of IX Hizen by spending doubloons, you can still continue progressing through the Dockyard combat missions. Instead of construction progression, you'll get 400 Research Points and 200 Steel for each completed phase.

If you want to complete shipbuilding phases at a discount, two Starter Packs are available to purchase:

• Ten shipbuilding phases for 9,950 doubloons
  
• Four shipbuilding phases for 5,000 doubloons

However, these packs will only be available to purchase prior to the point in time when you complete four shipbuilding phases by finishing combat missions. Once you've purchased both Starter Packs or completed four shipbuilding phases by finishing combat missions, you'll be able to purchase further phases individually for 1,950 doubloons each.

Now that we've briefly mentioned the main holiday rewards, let's take a closer look at them. Check the section that interests you the most.


[h2]Battle Performance Bonuses[/h2]
Ships of Tier V and above feature battle performance bonuses—traditional Snowflakes. During Updates 0.9.12 and 0.10.0, winning the first victory or earning 300 base XP playing ships in all types of battles, except Training Battles, will bring you the corresponding rewards:

• Tier V–VII ships: 400—750 Coal
  
• Tier VIII–IX ships: 75 Steel
  
• Tier X ship: Santa's Gift container

[h2]Kure Dockyard[/h2]
In Update 0.9.12, players will be able to start building a new Japanese Tier IX battleship, IX Hizen, at the Dockyard. By completing the Dockyard combat missions, you can complete 22 out of 26 shipbuilding phases. Completing each phase will bring you valuable rewards, including destroyer II Tachibana and cruiser V Yahagi for the fifth and 15th phases respectively. Both ships come with the Winter permanent camouflages and Commanders with 6 skill points for these ships.

Completing the 20th shipbuilding phase will reward you with the New Year permanent camouflage that can be mounted on most Tier IX ships. Among the other rewards, you'll find Santa's containers:

• Santa's Gift for the third phase
  
• Santa's Big Gift for the 10th and 22th phases
  
• Santa's Mega Gift for the 24nd phase

If you want to complete shipbuilding phases at a discount, two Starter Packs are available to purchase:

• Ten shipbuilding phases for 9,950 doubloons
  
• Four shipbuilding phases for 5,000 doubloons

Completing the ship's construction requires you to progress through at least four phases by spending doubloons. By doing so, you'll obtain IX Hizen with the War Paint permanent camouflage, a Port slot, 10-skill-point Commander, and commemorative flag.

The Starter Packs will only be available to purchase prior to the point in time when you complete four shipbuilding phases by finishing combat missions.  Once you've purchased both Starter Packs or completed four shipbuilding phases by finishing combat missions, you'll be able to purchase further phases individually for 1,950 doubloons each.

[h2]Rewards for the Campaigns[/h2]
Take part in two new temporary campaigns during Update 0.9.12, and you'll receive numerous rewards, including French battleship VII Strasbourg!

[h2]In Pursuit of Strasbourg[/h2]
The first mission of this campaign is already available, and those that follow will be unlocked each week. Completing the first three missions will reward you with special New Year Commanders with 6 skill points. Completing the final, fourth mission will bring you VII Strasbourg with a Port slot and the Winter Holiday camouflage.

[h2]Ships and Fates[/h2]
Obtaining battleship Strasbourg will enable you to complete the missions of the Ships and Fates campaign, which are already available to you. Completing six missions will bring you ships with permanent camouflages, Commanders with 6 skill points, and Santa's Gift containers.



[h2]New Year Supplies[/h2] The bundles are available until: Mon. 11 Jan. 07:00 CET (UTC+1)

The Armory is offering free daily bundles. Within them, you'll find Santa's Gift and Santa's Big Gift containers, holiday camouflages (Frosty Fir Tree, Winter Strands, New Year Streamer, "Type 3 — New Year," and the New Year expendable camouflage), as well as Coal, doubloons, and 1 day of Premium Account!

A total of 12 bundles will be available for a period of 20 days.
