What is a Clan Brawl? >>>
Rules
Date: April 4

Battles will be fought playing Tier VIII ships in a 4 vs. 4 format (one ship of each type per team)

Prime Times:
  • CIS 15:00 — 20:00 UTC
  • EU 17:00 — 22:00 UTC
  • ASIA 11:00 — 16:00 UTC
  • NA 00:00 — 05:00 UTC (on the following day)
Please note: once you play a battle, you will not be able to change the selected prime time in the current Clan Brawl. Unlike Clan Battles, a Clan's place in the Brawl’s Rating is determined for the battle region—the region of the selected prime time.
Rewards: up to 2,500,000 credits; 3,500 Coal; and 350 Steel

Mode: Domination

Battle duration: 15 minutes
Maps
• Hotspot, Shatter, Trident, and Northern Waters—all with reduced combat areas
  • Big Race—with the standard map size: 30x30 km
Regulations
• There are no limits on the number of teams participating from a single Clan, but the composition of the teams must conform to the aforementioned conditions.
  • Only victories are counted towards the Rating.
  • Since only victories are counted and defeats aren't taken into account, there’s no option to select Alpha or Bravo Ratings in the Clan Brawl.
  • Victories in the Clan Brawl aren’t counted towards the requirements to receive Clan Battle emblems.
  • If two teams have the same number of victories, the higher position in the Rating will be given to the Clan that played the last winning battle earlier.
Rewards
More details on the rewards will be available in the game client.
For achieving high positions in the final Rating, Clans will receive resources for their Treasuries.
Cap Takes Control of World of Warships — All Hail Cap!

What happened was always going to happen sooner or later—Cap, the protagonist of the Bad Advice and Naval Traditions series of educational videos, has taken over World of Warships!

Having a narcissistic personality, the first decision that our “luckiest” of Captains made was, of course, to devote the April Fool's Day celebration to himself. So what has he prepared?
  • A new Naval Traditions episode.
  • A themed almanac collection exploring the adventures of Cap and Fishy, with Commander Cap himself, a commemorative flag, a patch, and an achievement as the main rewards.
  • Twenty-three episodes of the Bad Advice and Naval Traditions animated series, carefully gathered in one playlist so that Cap's fans can watch his "films" in one go, every day.
  • A YouTube activity where every subscriber can give a high five to Cap and complete the collection in record time without any effort!

He'll start with a new episode of Naval Traditions, which will tell you about the lives of the most mysterious seamen of all—submariners!

Collection ● High Five Cap!
Collection
Get the popcorn, guys! A new themed collection—"Bad Advice: Behind the Scenes"—has arrived in the game! Learn the exciting story about the courageous and high-spirited Captain who has sent so many ships with a firm hand to... their doom.

He never gave up. On the contrary, he rushed into battle again and again, even after suffering the most crushing defeats. We're pleased to present you with some short extracts from his extensive biography that couldn't fit into the animated series!

The new collection comprises 23 elements, divided into four sections. By clicking on the collected elements, you can watch episodes of the Bad Advice and Naval Traditions series.

  • Reward for completing the first and the second sections: 1 day of Premium Account for each section.
  • Reward for completing the third section: 1x "Type 3 — New Year" camouflage, 1x Frosty Fir Tree camouflage, 1x "Type 3 — Halloween" camouflage, and 1x Halloween camouflage.
  • Reward for completing the fourth section: 4x Dragon special signals.
Completing the entire collection will reward you with Commander Cap with a unique voiceover, a commemorative flag, a patch, and an achievement. You can assign Cap to British ships.
The elements of the collection can be obtained from "Bad Advice: Behind the Scenes" containers, as well as daily containers if you've activated the subscription. Duplicates will be exchanged at a rate of 1:1.
Completing the collection is voluntary! If you decide to complete it, click the button below or use a special bonus code from the episodes in the playlist!

For Steam version the easiest way is through in-game news:
  1. Launch the game and click your nickname in the upper left corner of the Port
  2. Click "News", find this news article, open it
  3. Now just find an orange button in the text and click it

Upon clicking the button, you'll get a special combat mission which, when completed, will reward you with a collection container.

Sink an enemy ship in battle.

Reward: 1x container of the "Bad Advice: Behind the Scenes" collection
Ship restrictions: Tier V–X
Battle type restrictions: Operations, Random, and Co-op Battles
You can complete this combat mission 23 times.

Cap sends a storm warning for all seamen—a new activity is starting on our YouTube channel!

Prize fund: 550,000 containers of the "Bad Advice: Behind the Scenes" collection

The conditions are simple: you just have to high five Cap by giving a like to each episode from the playlist below. For each 5,000 likes, Cap will provide a bonus code with a container of the "Bad Advice: Behind the Scenes" collection.
Starts: Wed. 01 Apr. 09:00 CEST (UTC+2) Ends: Wed. 08 Apr. 09:00 CEST (UTC+2)
Rules
• Subscribe to the channel if you haven't done so yet, as Cap needs more subscribers!
  • Like each episode of the Bad Advice and Naval Traditions series from the playlist below.
  • Every day at 8:00 (UTC), Cap will check out how many "fives" he has, and then give out bonus codes for the collection containers accordingly.
  • The number of activations for each code is limited. One player = one container via a code. Cap will give out a bonus code with 10,000 collection containers for 5,000 likes under one video; 20,000 containers for the next two videos; and so on. Take a look at the diagram below for a clear demonstration! For the last—ninth—bonus code, Cap will deliver as many as 90,000 containers to the channel. But for him to do this, you'll have to give another 5,000 likes to just one video—the new episode of Naval Traditions.
  • If players don't manage to reach that number, Cap will still publish a consolation bonus code on April 8!
  • But wait, that's not all! If players manage to high five Cap enough times under all the videos from the playlist, and the official channel gets 5,000 new subscribers by April 8, Cap will publish a bonus code for 100,000 containers!

How It Works: Spotting and Detectability System 2.0

There have been many changes in the game since the moment we released the series of “How It Works” episodes in which we talked about the spotting and detectability system. We’ve revised the old episodes in order to keep all the information up to date with the reality of the current game version, and have also combined them into one longer episode.

How do ships spot one another? What’s the difference between detectability range and spotting range? How is it possible for a ship to fire at an enemy without being detected? Learn answers to these questions and more, in the new episode of the most practical series on our channel!
