  • VIII ARP Takao is a versatile heavy cruiser with powerful artillery, devastating torpedoes, high speed, and low detectability. The ship comes with the alternative Arpeggio permanent camouflage.
  • VII ARP Ashigara, VII ARP Nachi, VII ARP Haguro, and VII ARP Myōkō are effective heavy cruisers, capable of engaging any enemy with the help of their numerous 203 mm guns and 610 mm torpedoes.
  • V ARP Kirishima, V ARP Haruna, V ARP Kongō, and V ARP Hiei are high-speed battleships with long firing ranges for their tier.

ARP ships are Premium ships. This means that they earn more credits per battle, and their permanent camouflages provide bonuses to XP, as well as reduce the cost of their post-battle service. You can reassign Commanders from any Japanese ships to ARP ships without having to retrain them. XP earned on ARP ships can be converted into Free XP. ARP ships have a special set of unique visual effects for shell and torpedo hits, fires, and flooding.
Each ship comes with her respective same-name Commander with a unique voiceover from the anime series.
You can disable the display of additional content anytime. Starting from Update 0.9.0, all camo bonuses remain active even when their display is disabled. In this case, the standard permanent camouflage or, in the case where a ship doesn’t have one, the Type 5 camouflage will be displayed.

[h2]ARPEGGIO OF BLUE STEEL -ARS NOVA-[/h2]
The anime and manga are set in the near future, at a time when the mysterious Fleet of Fog has seized control over the World Ocean. An enigmatic invincible squadron is made up of the reincarnations of legendary ships from the first half of the 20th century, with Kongō, Kirishima, and Takao being among them.

Equipped with a mysterious superweapon, and led by battleship Yamato, the new masters of the oceans block the humans from accessing the seas—destroying anything that dares to move offshore. Many corners of the earth, including Japan, find themselves isolated and cut off from the rest of the world.

Ships of the Fleet of Fog are commanded by their human-like Mental Models. Iona, the Mental Model of Japanese submarine I-401, chooses to defect across to the humans in a bid to turn the tide of the war against the Fleet of Fog.

Wukong
VIII Wukong is a cruiser named after the Monkey King—one of the main mythological characters in Chinese culture. Sun Wukong is an immortal demon who acquired extraordinary powers after long years of wandering in the pursuit of spiritual perfection. His adventures are described in the Chinese classical novel "Journey to the West." In World of Warships, the cruiser represents Pan-Asia at Tier VIII. She carries a combination of French artillery and Pan-Asian long-range deepwater torpedoes.

Key features:
  • Nine 203 mm guns placed in three turrets. The cruiser can boast of having artillery with a good range and a fast reload time for the caliber
  • Two triple-tube torpedo launchers. The deepwater torpedoes of this ship have a low detectability range; good torpedo range for her tier—12 km; and a high maximum damage of 18,400 HP per hit, but they are not capable of striking destroyers
  • The Torpedo Reload Booster consumable, placed in a separate slot, allows her to launch one torpedo salvo 8 seconds after another several times during the course of a battle
  • The Spotting Aircraft consumable temporarily extends the firing range of her main guns
  • She earns more credits per battle, and her permanent camouflage adds a 50% XP bonus per battle and reduces the cost of the ship's post-battle service by 10%

Bajie
IX Bajie is a battleship named after a half-man, half-pig being, and one of the main mythological characters in Chinese culture. Zhu Bajie is a wizard who achieved immortality, but was later expelled from the heavens and condemned to walk the earth as punishment for his human passions. His adventures are described in the Chinese classical novel "Journey to the West." In World of Warships, the ship represents Pan-Asia at Tier IX.

Key features:
  • Nine 410 mm guns placed in three turrets. All the guns are mounted at the fore end of the ship. The battleship has artillery with a medium range for her tier and enjoys good shell grouping
  • Good secondary battery with a 7 km standard range and chances between 8–10% of setting the target on fire, depending on the gun type
  • Access to the Spotting Aircraft consumable, which increases her firing range, or the Fighter consumable, which is used to repel air attacks
  • She earns more credits per battle, and her permanent camouflage adds a 100% XP bonus per battle and reduces the cost of the ship's post-battle service by 20%

Season features
On all maps, the following rules apply:
  • Number of Key Areas: 3
  • Capture time: 40 seconds
  • Points from a captured Key Area: 3 points per 4 seconds

The main feature of the Season is a guaranteed appearance of the cyclone on the Mountain Range, Land of Fire, and North maps. Unlike Random Battles, cyclones work according to strict rules in the new Clan Battles Season:
  • They appear in five minutes after a battle begins
  • The visibility range drops to 12 km in 1 minute
  • A cyclone rages for 6 minutes, after which the visibility gradually returns to standard values within a period of 2 minutes

These settings, coupled with the strictly defined conditions of the cyclone’s occurrence, will make team tactics and gameplay more varied by reducing the engagement distance between opponents. The visibility range of 12 km will prevent cruisers equipped with the Surveillance Radar consumable from discovering enemy ships while remaining undetected themselves.

Clan Ships

When the Season starts, any player who plays a Clan, Co-op, or Random Battle steering a Tier VIII–X ship, will be given a set of three special Tier X ships for temporary use: X [Großer Kurfürst], X [Zaō], and X [Grozovoi].  On February 3, these will be replaced by X [Montana]X [Moskva], and X [Shimakaze]. The final trio—X [Yamato], X [Hindenburg], and X [Gearing] will arrive in your Port on February 17.
