Happy December, Captains!

To celebrate the huge popularity of our 5th Anniversary event—and in the spirit of the holiday season—we’ve prepared a surprise update for all our new players hunting the 5 USD Steam Credit bounty.

[h3] Now it's 5 times easier to get your free credit — you just need to get the “Amateur” achievement! This achievement is granted whenever you win your first 10 Random Battles! [/h3]

You’ll know you’ve qualified to win when you’ve earned the “Amateur” achievement in the game client, which in total should take you no more than 3 to 4 hours of playtime.

And one last thing: to honor our most active players, we will send 1 Santa's Gift container and 1 Steam Container to all players who have earned the Warrior achievement at the event end!

If you already had the “Amateur” achievement before November 17th, you can still get 5 USD earning the “Warrior” achievement for winning 50 Random Battles.
If you didn't have the “Amateur” achievement before November 17th and earned both the “Amateur” and the “Warrior” achievements, you will get a Steam container and a Santa container as a bonus.
• The achievement must be unlocked in the game client in your World of Warships account in order to be validated. This is not to be confused with the Steam Achievements.
  
• While the achievement must be unlocked during the event’s duration, not all progress toward the achievement needs to occur in the same time frame.
  
• The Warrior achievement can only be earned once.
  
• The reward will be issued only once per user, no later than 1 week after the event ends.
  
• By participating in the event, you accept the applicable Rules of the World of Warships game and Clans. All winners will be subject to anti-bot checks before prizes are distributed. Duplicate accounts will not be rewarded.

Update 0.11.11 brings back the Dockyard!

The Hamburg Dockyard kicks off the construction of IX Admiral Schröder.

The ship is armed with eight 305 mm guns housed in four main battery turrets. She is well suited for combat at medium and short ranges due to her quite solid durability and decent armor protection for a cruiser. Closing in on a hostile ship will trigger her powerful, long-range, and accurate secondary guns.

To repel torpedo attacks, the "trademark" German Hydroacoustic Search consumable will come in handy. The cruiser has good concealment and is able to quickly change flanks and take up any position as needed owing to her Engine Boost with improved characteristics.

Event Rules[/h2]

• The construction process at the Dockyard comprises 30 phases.
  
• The combat missions span 6 weeks of Update 0.11.11 and the first 2 weeks of 0.12.0. The Dockyard itself will remain in your Ports until the start of Update 0.12.1.
  
• In total, you can progress through 26 out of 30 shipbuilding phases by completing combat missions.
  
• You can advance through shipbuilding phases by completing Dockyard missions or spending 1,750 Doubloons to pass through each phase.
  
• If you want to complete shipbuilding phases at a discount, you can obtain Starter Packs: ten shipbuilding phases in exchange for 10,000 Doubloons and four shipbuilding phases in exchange for 5,000 Doubloons. However, these packs will only be available prior to the point in time when you complete four shipbuilding phases by finishing combat missions.

If you decide to complete the construction of IX Admiral Schröder by spending Doubloons, you'll still be able to progress through the Dockyard combat missions. In that case, instead of the usual rewards for completing the shipbuilding phases, you'll get 250 Steel for each completed phase.

Combat Missions[/h2]
The new game event tasks you with completing 70 combat missions spread across seven groups. The first group will become available with the release of Update 0.11.11, while those that follow will be unlocked each week.

Completing the first two groups will progress you through three shipbuilding phases each—two phases for accomplishing certain missions and one for finishing the group.

Completing each of the remaining five combat mission groups will progress you through four shipbuilding phases—three for accomplishing certain missions and one for finishing the group.

Rewards[/h2]
By progressing through the Dockyard combat missions only, you can complete 26 out of 30 shipbuilding phases at the Dockyard and obtain the following rewards:

• 30x New Year Sky camouflages
  
• 60,000 Elite Commander XP
  
• 8,000 Coal
  
• 1x Santa's Gift container
  
• 4 days of Warships Premium Account
• 32,500 Free XP
  
• 2x Santa's Big Gift containers
  
• 4x Special Bonuses containers
  
• 10x Rare Bonuses containers
  
• 20x expendable economic bonuses of each of the following types: "Credits +40%," "Ship XP +200%," "Commander XP +200%," and "Free XP +600%"
  
• 12x expendable economic bonuses of each of the following types: "Credits +160%," "Ship XP +800%," "Commander XP +800%," and "Free XP +2,400%"

Completing the 19th phase will reward you with VII Renown '44 along with a 6-skill-point Commander and Port slot. This warship is in many ways similar to her counterpart, researchable British battleship VI Renown. However, the gameplay of Renown '44 is somewhat different from her researchable analog and places more focus on close combat.

Completing Construction of the Ship[/h2]
To complete the shipbuilding process entirely, in addition to progressing through all the combat mission groups, you'll need to spend Doubloons to finish any four shipbuilding phases.

• 10,000 Coal for completing phase 27.
  
• 4,000 Research Points for completing phase 28.
  
• 2,000 Steel for completing phase 29.
  
• Upon completing the 30th shipbuilding phase, you'll receive IX Admiral Schröder clad in her War Paint permanent camouflage, a Port slot, Commander with 10 skill points, and a commemorative flag.

Join the construction of IX Admiral Schröder at the Dockyard and receive rewards for completing shipbuilding phases!
