Hotfix 3: Patch 2.0.3-b7910
[p][/p]
π Changes
- [p]Added a resource conversion workshop project to allow changing Uncommon or Rare components into Basic Components[/p]
- [p]Improved the spawn criteria for enemy reinforcements in base defence missions to prevent them from spawning close to the mobile base[/p]
- [p]Lowered the cost of scrapping an Uncommon or Rare piece of equipment in the salvage menu to from 10/15 to a flat 5[/p]
- [p]Increased the speed of the mobile base in the tutorial province[/p]
- [p]Re-enabled scanning of the Steam Workshop downloads folder in preparation for the Mod SDK update at a later date[/p]
- [p]Steam Workshop will reopened alongside the 2.0 SDK update. The updated SDK will allow Workshop mod developers to upload new versions of their mods compatible with 2.0.[/p]
- [p]Fixed several pilot traits (Frost Giant, Nimble Giant, Scout and Feather Leap) not working as intended[/p]
- [p]Fixed common rarity gear built in the workshop sometimes being training level instead of common[/p]
- [p]Fixed a rare issue in the briefing menu where a piece of grass was spawned in front of the camera, obscuring the squad[/p]
- [p]Fixed non-crewed units such as turrets, drones and generators in breakthrough missions not being counted as destroyed if they were destroyed by overheat damage[/p]
- [p]Fixed the game loading old mods that aren't marked as 2.0 compatible[/p]
- [p]If you have a locally installed mod that hasn't been updated for 2.0 by its developer, and you are absolutely sure it remains compatible with 2.0 (for example, a mod adding new liveries), you can force it to load.[/p]
- [p]Find the metadata.yaml file in the mod folder and adjust the line reading [c]gameVersionMin:[/c] to [c]gameVersionMin: 2.0[/c]. We'd like to remind you that we do not process bug reports from modded game sessions, so do this at your own risk![/p]
- [p]Attempted fix for a rare softlock in the tutorial where the frontline base failed to spawn[/p]
- [p]Attempted fix for an exception that could occur when enemy reinforcements landed[/p]
- [p]Attempted fix for an exception that could occur when units crashed in certain circumstances[/p]
- [p]Attempted fix for an exception that could occur that prevented movement on the overworld[/p]
- [p]Attempted fix for an exception that could occur when units collided with a destroyed projectile[/p]
- [p]For some users, the game may take up to 5 minutes to launch.[/p]
- [p]We're unsure of the cause at the moment and are continuing to investigate - if you are having troubles launching the game (no game window appears after a minute, the game sits on a black screen for a minute, etc) it may be that it's still initializing. If the game continues to fail to launch, please email logs to - these will help us troubleshoot the issue. Thank you![/p]
- [p]The game crashes on Intel Arc GPUs due to DX11 support limitations[/p]
- [p]For now we recommend installing and using DXVK as a workaround[/p]
- [p]Discord overlay may not be compatible with the game and may prevent keyboard inputs from being registered[/p]
- [p]Combat prediction holograms can stop working, failing to show bullets, current facing direction, and other important combat actions[/p]
- [p]If you run into this, relaunch the game. We are actively working to reproduce and resolve this, so please look forward to a future hotfix.[/p]
- [p]Sometimes, UI in salvage screen cannot be clicked[/p]
- [p]To work around this, use the buttons at the top of the columns to change the entire category, then adjust the ones that you can click. We are still troubleshooting this issue[/p]
- [p]Salvage screen has a UI overlap when comparing items[/p]
- [p]Backpacks cannot change liveries[/p]
- [p]Bosses or base defenses may have overlapping UI icons if multiple boss fights are completed in the same game session[/p]
- [p]Some pilot traits don't display their effects in the briefing squad UI[/p]
- [p]Mechs are always listed as Heavy in the briefing squad UI[/p]
