Avoid these Helldivers 2 guns to survive until the next patch

Spreading freedom and liberty throughout the galaxy is a big job, and as it turns out, so is keeping a game as popular as Helldivers 2 running. Developer Arrowhead says it's figured out what's causing the persistent freezing issue that players have been reporting, and it's working on a patch for the issue that should be out next week. In the meantime, you may want to check your loadouts for certain weapons, which seem to be triggering the bug.

Yay, a fresh Helldivers 2 patch is coming soon to fix freezes, here are some guns to avoid using until it does

There've been a lot of issues afflicting Helldivers 2 since its latest patch dropped yesterday, but the good news is that Arrowhead's now revealed that it's working on a fresh patch that should take care of the biggest one - the game freezing up on regular basis.

When should this new patch arrive? Soon is the answer by the looks of it, and there are some guns the developer suggests that you stay away from until that point. Given how quickly it managed to sort the recent issues with the game's Galactic War not registering progress properly, I'd listen.

The reveal of this came via the official Helldivers 2 Discord server, where community manager Baskinator writes: "We have identified the cause of the freezes many players have been experiencing, and we're in the process of building a patch to fix it that should be ready to deploy early next week."

Are you an idiot? Well, I've got some bad Helldivers 2 news for you. The game's latest patch hasn't totally eliminated the phenomenon of accidentally destroying your own exosuit with your own missiles. Also, its deployment has been followed by a wave of crashes, which Arrowhead is working on solutions for.

Unfortunately, while things have been going well in-game for the soldiers of Super Earth occupied as they battle against the Terminids, there've been a number of pesky issues that've been plaguing folks. Arrowhead's working very hard on sorting a lot of them out, but yeah, it might take a little while to see them all rectified.

Let's start with the positives, since more things have been happening in Helldivers 2 than you can probably keep track of. Arrowhead's now deployed some fixes designed to solve some of the issues folk have been having with friend invites, as well as some malfunctionging stats. Sadly, since that point, as outlined in the game's official Discord server, some other problems have arisen.

There's nothing quite like the feeling of belly-flopping onto the extraction ship in Helldivers 2, knowing that you've successfully contributed to the galactic spread of freedom and liberty. Sadly, freedom and liberty are currently bugged. Helldivers 2's game master says the dev team is currently working on a problem with the Galactic War tracking system, and that's before we even get to the latest batch of crashes.

How to fix Helldivers 2 friend request not working

Having trouble inviting friends to your game in Helldivers 2? So far, Helldivers 2 has had its fair share of bugs and errors, though most have been ironed out, and the game continues to get updates, players are still having trouble inviting friends on different platforms to their game.

Arrowhead has confirmed they are working on a fix for the issue players are having with inviting friends in Helldivers 2, with the latest patch 1.000.103 not solving the issue. The bug itself prevents PC and PS5 players from accepting friend requests, stopping them playing together. There is however, a workaround that we've found that bypasses the screen where you send friend requests to cross-platform players.
