If you've been wondering when Helldivers 2 will get its next batch of fresh content, the good news is that Arrowhead's broken its silence. The studio's revealed that you can expect the next Warbond to be announced on May 8, as well as teasing "more exciting news to come not long after".
So, Helldivers 2 players have been asking Arrowhead to spice things up a bit in the Galactic War for a little bit now, in spite of the whole ongoing planet-eating wormhole problem.
While players are still hoping for a big content update soon, Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead has been busy making some tweaks to the game as the Meridian death ball situation in the Galactic War has reached what could be its conclusion.
Helldivers 2 players might not have gotten the big update some of them were hoping for this week, but their latest mission at least looks like it's coming with some pretty lofty Galactic War stakes. If you're sick of the purple Meridian death ball destroying planets, here's a chance to stop it.
