Разработчики Helldivers 2 ответили на критику по поводу цен на контент из кроссовера с Killzone. Ранее игроки выразили недовольство высокими ценами на тематические предметы и косметику, добавленные в игровой магазин в рамках кроссовера.

It's been easy to forget that Helldivers 2 has still had an Illuminate invasion going on over the past couple of days, as everyone's been distracted by the pricing backlash against the game's Killzone crossover gear. But, the aliens are still doing their thing in-game, and the next step in their warpath could delay yopu getting your hands on a new ride.
Helldivers 2 gifts players controversial Killzone cosmetics for free
While the likes of Fortnite and Call of Duty can collaborate with pretty much any celebrity, brand, or IP they want and come out the other side untroubled, for the majority of games, caution is required. A crossover needs to be cool or authentic enough to win players over, and even then, it needs to be sensibly priced and obtainable. With Helldivers 2's new Killzone crossover, it nailed step one - the cosmetics look great and don't feel totally out of place. Plus, the hankering for anything Killzone related is always strong, given we'll probably never get a new game in the series. Step two, however, was a different story. As a result, it is now giving away the second wave of its Killzone collection for free.

Since Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead deployed the opening bit of the game's Killzone crossover, the prices players are being asked to pay for this new stuff have been causing some serious backlash. Now, after working to respond to unhappy players, the studio's made the decision to give away the gear coming as second part of the collab for free.
