UPDATE: Helldivers 2 players are reporting that their super credits are disappearing, but its devs are yet to respond

UPDATE: Arrowhead has now made a comment on the super credits bug in Helldivers 2's official Discord, explaining "We have discovered the likely cause for some players not being able to access their Super Credits after purchasing and then rebooting the game. Your credits are there, but due to filtering issues in our system, they are not displaying correctly." A fix is currently in the works, but no date was provided as to when.

If you're thinking about buying some super credits in Helldivers 2, you might want to hold off, as players are reporting that their credits are disappearing.

Helldivers 2 has a high-strung, hyper, air around it. Between the frenetic, fiery gameplay and the equally chaotic scramble for a spot on its servers post-release, the shooter taking the gaming world by storm has lit a fire under people's feet.

Helldivers 2 is immune to its disastrous server issues

There aren't many games like Helldivers 2 where you casually accept the fact that you might be kicked from the servers at any moment, forcing you to boot the game up again to rejoin your friends. In my last session, my party experienced six crashes between us, and yet somehow this didn't put a dampener on our experience. Every time someone crashed out of a mission, there was plenty of time left on the clock for us to wait for them to hop back in so they didn't miss out on the mission rewards.

Helldivers 2's player limit has been raised again, so here's hoping we can actually play this weekend

Helldivers 2 is very fun, which is why it’s managed to remain very popular despite server issues that’ve regularly stopped legions of folks from, you know, actually playing it. Thankfully, the concurrent user cap for the game has just gotten another nice boost ahead of the weekend.

Yep, shortly following a patch that fixed the dreaded black screen startup issue and one that added a handy auto-kick timer for those who’ve been trying to keep their server spots by leaving the game running while AFK, here is, as DJ Khaled once said, another one. You certainly can’t complain that the folks at Arrowhead aren’t working hard.
