First of all, Little Briar Rose is 50% off for a week Don't miss the discount!


This discount comes with a cool update! A totally rewritten mini game.
The fishing mini game have been completely remade, to offer a better playing experience :3

The old game was really hated by some of you and generally not really loved, so we decided to enforce a new one, with completely new mechanics.

We've written a blog post about it, explaining why it was so bad, and how we managed to change it.

This update comes along with a bunch of bug fixing. You can check the list below.

• Upgrade to Unity 5.6.2
  
• Improve main menu timing
  
• Reopen the in-game menu when coming from submenus
  
• Save Asynchronously to avoid lag
  
• The localization system has been rewritten
  
• Fix drag&drop bug in the gnomes mini game

It’s been a while!
Did you miss us? We hope so!
We are still working hard to improve the game from your feedbacks, but there were also a lot of interesting news for our team.

However, let’s start from the beginning! Here is a list of changes we introduced in this release:

• The intro will now restart after idling for more than 30 seconds in the Title
  
  
• Minor audio bug-fix while building the house
  
  
• Fixed the camera that occasionally froze in the Castle Map
  
  
• Fixed a bug where the Princess' room song wasn't starting after loading a save
  
  
• Unity upgrade to 5.5.2
  
  
• Fixed a few English typos
  
  
• Fixed a bug with a fairy sprite that wasn't showing properly on game load
  
  
• Gameplay improvement of gnome costume scene: It's now possible to change items before going to the Merman. As some users pointed out, that missing choice was pedantic and unnecessary.
  

The Fishing Game has officially won the "most-hated" minigame award in Little Briar Rose.
We received many negative feedbacks about that part, so we are working to rebuild it entirely, introducing some new and enjoying mechanics to improve flawed design choices.




Our artist started a short blog-post series that explains how she achieved the stained-glass art style of Little Briar Rose.

This month has been an exciting and important month for us. Our game has been nominated in all four categories of Premio Drago d’Oro, an Italian video games award.
We were, and are, astonished by this local, yet significative news. Finally, last week the final event took place and our game won the Best Game Design Award.

We are happy and willing to challenge the bigger world, with this and new projects we are developing, since this is the beginning of a journey we will take.
We would say thanks to all our players that helped us with constructive feedback and support.
