Hello there!
In today's update we'll talk about the save system.


We noticed, thanks to your feedback, that the actual save system gives a bit of confusion. This happens because players always spawn in the first map when the game loads, and it might seem that some progress is lost.
To whoever had this doubt, we assure that all data is just fine.
Nonetheless, we decided to change the fairy save system and develop something less confusing.



The new save system will get note of the map you're in, so no more backtracking to the first screen. There is also no need to talk to the first fairy to save. The game will automatically save after every action and when you exit the game.
If your pc should shut down or the game crashes for whatever reason, your saves will be fine.



As we focused on the "improve save system" task, we also finished to add the Steam Cloud saves. We've had this done for a while, but we waited for more testing. Everything works fine, so it is now out of beta.



Princesses graphics have been fully integrated into Mighty Princess MOD. The main feature of the game, the "perma-death", will now have a princess version, along with other minor graphics fixes.





Lastly, some bug fix list:
- Game updated to Unity3D 5.5.1
- Fix workshop page to show all popular mods
- Fix Goblin minigame tutorial
- Other fix to Mighty Princess MOD

Here we are with a small new update!

Before this, we'd like to thank all the guys that decided to join our beta! If you're still interested in it, you can request access to our private group by pushing a line in this discussion:

All BETA members will (soon) receive an original artwork of Little Briar Rose created by our artist! ;)


Getting to the main point, this update includes all features that were in BETA until now:

• Linux/SteamOS support
  
• Steam Workshop support
  
• Christmas/Winter official MOD
  

Additionally, this update includes:

• Minor improvements to the In-game Settings menu
  
• Font improvement to Gnome's Puzzle
  
• Fixed a few typos
  
• Inner Plugins upgrades
  
• Added mouse right click button to cancel an action, like using item or closing a menu
  

The BETA branch, instead, will now include this new features:

• Steam cloud support
  
• Auto-save feature (no more manual saving by talking with the fairy)
  

2016 has been an important year for us, since we finally released our first project. An important step for our Team.
But what about 2017?
We have a bunch of planned activities we'd like to achieve to improve game experience. We also want to focus on Steam Workshop, adding new MODs and bring new contents to the game.

The first new MOD will be for the end of January!
