Are you ready for another weekend event?!

 

For this weekend event we'll have it live the following period of time:

 

START: December 13, 2019 12:00 PM (CET)

END: December 16, 2019 12:00 PM (CET)

 

Now, let's jump into further details about this weekend's weekend event:



 

• Double GD in Caliwood (OW)
  Game dollars gained on all Caliwood maps in the Open World game-mode are doubled. This only goes for game dollars gained on this map in the Open World game-mode.
   
• GD skinboxes from airdrops (OW + SURV)
  GD skinboxes have a chance of spawning from random appearing airdrops in both Open World and Survival. Some GD skinbox examples: Modern Black skinbox, Skully Pink Skinbox, Camo Skinbox, etc.
   
• Double Reputation on the Winter 2019 PVP Map (PVP)
  All reputation gained on the Winter 2019 PVP map is doubled during the weekend event. This only goes for reputation gained on this map in the PVP Servers section of the Open World game-mode.
   
• Battle Royale Double GD reward (BR)
  Game dollars gained when winning a Battle Royale game are doubled during the weekend event.
  
   

• ROUTINE: Battle Royale Map Rotation
  As always, the main and only Battle Royale map will be changed. This time we are changing over from Arena to Tropico.
  Note: We change the map rotation in the Battle Royale game-mode every week due to the low(er) amount of players playing Battle Royale. If you have any suggestions, ideas or feedback please let us know at http://forums.fredaikis.com/index.php?/topic/5388-maps-battle-royale/
   
• MARKETPLACE SALE: Infinity Skinbox 25% DISCOUNT + All Infinity skins available!
  This week we are doing a sale on the Infinity skinbox and all the Infinity skin recipes are available as well!
  Note: This sale is a weekly one so has already started before the weekend event and will not have the same start-end times as the weekend event.

Dear Community,

We are rolling out a second hotfix for the 2.40 patch which will include the following fixes and changes:

 

• Cupboard can only be placed now on fundaments in your base.
• Fixed an issue causing base building doors to affect fps while they are in the open/close animation.
• Building resources cost will now show all the time as long as you are holding the building hammer.
• Added a message to clarify that the building hammer can not be used on servers where building is disabled.

 

 

Estimated patch size: 10mb

Hotfix ETA: At the moment the notes are released. Make sure, you verify your game files through steam if you don't get the update otherwise a restart would be enough.

Estimated downtime: Not needed

Also, the new Winter 2019 major event has finally started. We are releasing a new box, new map, new trading lounge and a lot more further content! For this weekend event we'll have it live the following period of time:

 

START: December 6, 2019 12:00 PM (CET)

END: December 9, 2019 12:00 PM (CET)

 

Now, let's jump into further details about this weekend's weekend event:

• Original Arizona V1 in Battle Royale (BR)
  The original Arizona V1 map will be back for this weekend only. This is the huge original Battle Royal map with vehicles.
  After this event, we will change it to Arena again and we are really interested in to your feedback about Arizona V1. Let us know in the comment below.
   
• Rocky Ford PVP Chaos (OW)
  No Reload timer and High Jump will be enabled in all Rocky Ford PVP servers in the Open-World game mode.
   
• Winter Box 2019 in Survival (SV)
  Have double the chance of getting a Wintger 2019 Box in the Survival game-mode! This includes Super-, Alien- and Toxic Zombie and also the Winter places on the maps.
   
• Double GD on Zombies (OW)
  Gain the double amount of Game-Dollar (GD) by killing Zombies in the Open World game-mode.
  
   

• ROUTINE: Battle Royale Map Rotation
  As always, the main and only Battle Royale map will be changed. This time we are changing over from Arizona to Arena. (After the event)

• PRIVATE SERVER: 25% Discount across all Regions
  We are going to run a discount across all regions during this weekend event. You will get a discount of 25% on every server you rent. (Open World & Survival)
  
  
   
• MARKETPLACE SALE: Mystery Skinbox 20% DISCOUNT + Random Skins!
  This week we are doing a sale on the Mystery skinbox and some random skin recipes are available again!
  Note: This sale is a weekly one so has already started before the weekend event and will not have the same start-end times as the weekend event.

Dear community,

We are going to roll out a client-sided hotfix to fix some major bugs which happend after the last patch.
To be able to appy this patch, you literally have to restart your game or/and steam. (verify your game files if you don't get it)

NOTES:

• Fixed a bug causing NVG to cause chrome skins and winter textures to appear as yellow.
  
• Fixed a bug causing the building hammer to not show the building objects in survival.
  
• Fixed a bug causing rendering reflections to be black in the menu.
  

ADDITION:

• Added a "Buy for a friend" gift system to the marketplace.

Now, let's jump into further details about this weekend's weekend event:

• Free Revive Weekend.
  Revive will be free this weekend for anyone that doesn't have premium!
   
• Battle Royale Madness.
  In Battle Royale Madness we shake up the loot completely. Snipers, strong weapons, riot shields and all other good items that normally don't spawn in the Battle Royale game mode are now spawning! Last "Battle Royale Madness" event the snipers were a bit too common so this time we'll adjust that and have them more rare.
   
• Caliwood Double Reputation. (OW / SURV)
  In Caliwood for both the Open World and the Survival game-mode all reputation gained will be doubled. This only goes for official servers. 
   
• Camo Skinbox from Super Zombies (OW / SURV).
  The Camo Skinbox is now spawning from Super Zombies in both the Open World and Survival game-mode. Note that the skinbox is rare to drop so you're going to have to kill a lot of Super Zombies to get an actual Camo Skinbox! Good luck!
   

• ROUTINE: Battle Royale Map Rotation
  As always, the main and only Battle Royale map will be changed. This time we are changing over from Tropico to Arizona.

• SALE: Black Friday Sale!
  50% discount on all skinboxes only for the upcoming 24 hours!
  
   
• EXTRA: Streamer Event!
  Stream New Z for at least 6 hours in total this weekend and earn a 1000 GC reward!
  How to redeem your reward?
  To redeem your reward you'll have to send a private message to ElChupacabra#4582 on Discord.
  What are the rules?
  1. Past Broadcast must be saved and open for anyone to view. 
  2. Stream needs to be of Infestation: The New Z gameplay. 
  3. AFK Streams will be instantly ignored.
  4. Game must be streamed under Infestation: The New Z.
  5. You need to stream using the Twitch account linked to your Infestation: The New Z account.
  6. Stream at least 6 hours in total this weekend. This also means you could for example do 2 streams that are 3 hours+ each.
   
• MARKETPLACE SALE: Random Skins + Solari Skinbox discount!
  This time we are doing a sale on a lot of random skin recipes. Some of the skins are available for direct purchase in the in-game marketplace and the Solari skinbox is on a 15% discount! Also some other more random skins are available in the in-game marketplace for this week!
  Note: This sale is a weekly one so has already started before the weekend event and will not have the same start-end times as the weekend event.
