The Return of Red Arena



At the 5-minute mark of every hour in-game time, you'll find an additional mode available in Kay's Mini-games. It's called Red Arena, and it's a gathering of warriors looking to best one another in one-on-one combat. The winner stays on, with challenger-after-challenger looking to wrest the stage from them until none remain!

Put on a set of PvP gear found in the Arena Shop and click on Red Arena when you feel capable of challenging other players when the mini-game pops up!

Patch Day Log-in Reward:

• By doing various different activities, obtain the Fresh Cream needed to construct different delectable desserts boxes containing little gifts!
  

Anniversary Stamp Tour:

• Fill out the anniversary stamp book to earn a ton of useful items to help you become the strongest Mapler that you can be!
  

Celebration Daily Quest: 

• Event Duration (UTC): End of Maintenance, Thursday, September 19th - 3:30 PM Friday, October 18th
  
• Every day, the NPCs Bobby, Ruby, and Moonsweetie in Amherst will offer you a daily quest each that will help you obtain Fresh Cream and 1st Anniversary Commemorative Coins!
  

Anniversary Attendance Event:

• Log in each day over the next month to claim useful rewards on your adventure in MapleStory 2! Returning and new players can enjoy additional rewards to help them catch up a little bit. At the end of the calendar is a unique anniversary reward for this kind of event: 3 Style Crates for free.

• Expedite the speed of your material farming with increased drops from world bosses!

• Fixed an unusual gamepad issue related to movement where the character would move despite there being no animation
  
• Fixed an issue where players were able to pull monsters through walls using certain skills
  
• Fixed an issue where the character will sometimes use an improper animation when previewing the recommended job weapon
  
• Fixed an error in the pop-up guide message when clicking the "Leave the Dungeon" button after pressing the Escape key inside a dungeon
  
  • "You can re-enter, but you cannot participate in the battle." message displays, but there are dungeons where you can actually participate in the battle. Thus, the above message will be changed to include all dungeons
    
• Fixed issue where the camera view is fixed if you are forced to dismount a buddy mount with the Safe Riding effect applied
  
• Fixed issue where the Super Chat Theme window didn't close even though the Confirm and X buttons are clicked
  
• Changed the name of the Rage set among the gear items
  
  • The wrong word in the set name when hovering the mouse on the item tooltip was changed
    
• The name of NPC Mason in the "Evansville" map of Victoria Island was changed to Melson
  
• Fixed issue where the notification at the bottom center of the screen didn't display in certain situations when catching fish
  
• Fixed issue where the portal outside the Huntis Federation building in the "Ludari City" of Karkar didn't display
  
• Fixed issue where the instrument effect didn't display properly when another player performs
  
• Fixed issue where some images didn't display in the notification UI at the bottom center of the screen when a new skill is learned
  
• Fixed character stuck running in same direction when using mouse and keyboard controls
  
• Fixed an issue with the portals not functioning properly in Terminus of Time
  
• Fixed Landevian boss fight in Blackshard Nexus that would sometimes have him in an invulnerable state
  
• Fixed an issue with the first seed not respawning in Emerald Prison
  
• Fixed healing over time effects not displaying HP recovery rates above characters
  
• Fixed an issue that causes players to be able to re-enter Blackshard Nexus after running out of revives
  
• Fixed an issue with attack score displaying in negative values
  
• Fixed an issue with female characters using the Swing Set Emote
  
• Fixed a typo in the quest, Dark Wind Weapons Test
  
• Fixed an issue with Sepia Headwings not being a part of Holy Seraphim outfit set
