The first patch of version 1.4.3 of Market Tycoon.

With this patch update, we fixed a few bugs thanks for everyone who reported any bugs found over the past few weeks.


A new language is added with this update, Korean.

We also changed the difficulty slider from Easy, Normal and Hard system to a starting with the amount of cash slider since we figured that this would work better and more suited for the sandbox game mode.

That's pretty much it for this patch stay tuned for more exciting features with the upcoming main updates.

•Quick patch that fixed a bug that caused the game to sometimes crash when changing employee uniform.
•Fixed a bug that caused some items not being allowed to be placed in the small fridge without manually changing the box size (using arrow keys)

Hello there,

As we promised in giving you an update that will focus on optimizing the game, here it is.

We have received a number of complaints about lag and performance issues, and we are happy to let you know that with this update this issue is from the past. We were able to boost the performance from 15fps in some cases to 60fps.

And as you know with the last update, your old markets disappeared from the loading screen and as we explained that this was due to changes in core game code. We are happy to let you know that we were able to work around that and make most of your old markets loadable again. And with the new optimization, you can now enjoy your market with no lag.


As for the future, we would really love to bring workshop support for Market Tycoon and we are so excited to see what the community can bring to Market Tycoon. We also have plans for more features like janitors, security guards, thieves, disasters like rat infestation, online website for your market. Things like that will make the game more interesting and fun.

Hey Market Tycoon Fans,

Version 1.4.2 F.1 of Market Tycoon is up.

We want to deeply apologize for the performance issues introduced with version 1.4.2 in this update we fixed a few more bugs and improved the performance a bit. We still have a plan to dedicate an update focusing on performance and it's coming next.

With this update, we also added a new language Catalan and updated few other languages including German, Bulgarian, Portuguese - Brazilian. Other languages will be updated automatically without the need of updating the game once the translations are available.

due to the change of some core game code old markets will not be able to load with this update. Sorry for the inconvenience it had to be done for a better performance going on.

Requirements to translate Market Tycoon:
• Good understanding in English as you will be translating from English.
• Good understanding of the language you will be translating Market Tycoon to, preferably a native speaker.

Hey Market Tycoon Fans,

As many of you might have heard, we are working on bringing workshop support to Market Tycoon. Unfortunately, when we started developing Market Tycoon we did not plan to have workshop ready to be supported in the future. Therefore, we need to change many core game code to make it compatible with Workshop and that is taking some time. We are happy to let you know that work on that has already started and there is some real good progress going on that. We are so excited to see what you guys can come up with. Stay tuned Workshop is officially on the way to Market Tycoon.

Meanwhile, we worked on fixing bugs that were reported over the last two months or so and this is what this update is all about. We focused mainly on those bugs that caused people or employees to get stuck in their place. Please note that if you faced this bug in your market there is a small chance that it will not get fixed in this market and you might need to start a new game, but it should not happen again.

We also know that many are facing some performance problems, and that is what we are focusing on next. So expect an update very very soon to address the performance problems. After the next update which will focus on performance, we will get back to work on getting Workshop ready to use with Market Tycoon.

We had plans to get the UI more friendly with the visually impaired on this update. Unfortunately, it didn't look as good as we wanted it to be. We are still working on that and we'll release a small update once it's ready.

Updating the translations of German, French, Catalan and few more languages are being worked on and will become available automatically without needing to update the game once it's ready.

Hello Market Tycoon players,

Thank you for your patience for this update, and thanks to everyone who reported the bugs to us.

With this version of Market Tycoon, two new languages have been added Spanish and Turkish these are two of the most requested languages. And thanks to Felix from Coalise Estudio for translation the game into Spanish and Tayfun for translating into Turkish.

This update includes a fix to a bug that was introduced with the last update that caused items on fridges to expire in one day. we also fixed many other bugs that were reported over the last month.

Also, we have slightly improved the rating system and the overall balance of the game. We still want to work more on that for a better experience.

That's mostly it with this update. And we are happy to announce that custom items and steam workshop feature are in the works. We are very excited to see what the community can come up with.
