Dog Duty patch notes - v0.92

Hi everyone!

Another patch has dropped and here's the notes!

- Reworked the Garage menu
- Updated/added new sound effects
- Added Octopus Commander to Boss-Battles
- Added Octo-Copter to Capital
- Code optimizations
- Changed up the game intro to include cake
- Fixed lightpole destruction bug
- Eternal ladder climb fixed
- Fix on soldiers entering on Swamp Boss
- Fix on some reinforcement behaviours
- Updated the end-stage screen

Dog Duty patch notes - v0.919

Hey everyone!

Just dropping in here with some patch notes for the most recent patch for Dog Duty. Let's dive right in:
  • Added video options (screen resolution, fullscreen, vsync)
  • Changed the last level - now the player may enter Octopia, and wreck mayhem before the final encounter
  • Fixed strange collision while driving near swamp POW camp
  • Fixed river's reinforcement behaviour
  • Soldiers boarding vehicles during road combat will be more aggressive
  • Fixed odd situation on selling 0x items
  • Solved the issue on chatting soldiers on conquered locations
  • Optimizations on code and 3D meshes for better performance
  • Lots of misc and mini things that we did not took note of ːsteamhappyː

Dog Duty Patch notes v0.918

Hi all!

It's been a while since we posted on here, but that doesn't mean we've been lazy! There's been two patches done before this one, so I'll add those notes in here as well. Here's the full overview!
  • Fixed some issues that led to stuck soldiers on the battlefield
  • Revision on some gameplay logic
  • Gameplay fixes on swamp levels
  • Fixed issue that prevented players from entering the Swamp Island
  • Added more content to Swamp, Capital and Desert islands
  • Updates to make the world more lively such as toucans flying around in the swamp and more trees and buildings in swamp environments. There's also more buildings, cars, silos, trees, and potato crops on the desert island. On the river island, there's also more buildings and watchtowers added
  • Addressed bug regarding making a bad savegame on the final base
  • Added soldier dialog in several locations

For the next update, we're working on solving performance issues, bug solving and adding content that we think will improve the game for the best: a proper Octopia Capital final stage!

This new Octopia Capital will feature a new checkpoint location, a driveable field with a final car battle, and a re-worked Octopia Garden, the final location itself.

That's what we have for now but we'll be back soon with more updates!

Hi all!

Dog Duty received another update, and here's the patch notes!
  • Added some keyboard keys to the ui
  • Fixed some things on the changing soldier ui
  • Fixed enemy movement while entering road combat
  • Saved volume data loads on game startup correctly now
  • Fixed some mission item names/descriptions
  • Fixed end stage resume in some situations
  • Corrected some 'stage complete' camera views
  • Select rect will disappear accordingly now
  • Added a VHS effect while using "skip" on cutscenes
  • Fixed a lot of small things and little bugs

Dog Duty Patch Notes - v0.914

Hi all!

It's Marten here again. Dog Duty was updated and I've got some of the juicy patch notes right here! Please, keep the feedback coming, because we're looking to improve the game a lot more!
  • Fixed the problem of running your vehicle into breakable objects and getting stuck on rubble. Rubble will now disappear in 3 to 6 seconds.
  • Fixed a problem on the map mode, the UI button are back now
  • Fixed enemies walking against each other on swamp outpost A
  • Top antena on outpost b swamp is now reachable for players using gamepad (scrolling area got larger, antenna was also moved)
  • Flamethrower weapons was nerfed slightly
  • Romeo's special attack was nerfed slightly
  • Now every outpost, depot and pow camp have an octo-officer armed with a pistol
