Video game music aficionados get some good news this week, as both our We Were Here and We Were Here Together OSTs are on sale! That's not all though...
Spice up your Steam library!
We made some pretty animated library capsules for our games. You can download our cool library capsules here!

To add them, go to your Steam library, find the game in the shelves to the right (not in the summary list), and right click on it. Then choose Manage > Set custom artwork, and choose your image! You could even make every game in your library look like We Were Here, if you wanted.
Get We Were Here soundtracks on Steam!
We recently released the We Were Here Together soundtrack, featuring 16 tracks and more than an hour of music! There's even a double discount on right now, with 10% off the newly released We Were Here Together soundtrack and a 25% discount on the We Were Here OST. Check it out!

April News
In case you missed it...
We announced a handy new way to communicate if you happen to find yourself stranded in the Antarctic earlier this month on April 1st.
Linux and VR support updates
Regretfully, we are announcing that we will no longer support Linux going forward. We know this will come as a disappointment to some of you, but it simply isn't practical to provide support considering how quickly the software is changing and the limited number of people who actually use Linux to play We Were Here games.

The same goes for VR. It's such a cool technology that it deserves to be done right, and we don't have the resources for that in the foreseeable future. The VR mode for We Were Here was made some time ago now, and VR tech has come a long way since then! It doesn't reflect our capabilities today, so we will be taking it offline.

Now to share some more cheerful bits and pieces, like...
Fantastic fan art!
We love this fridge art by player Nanofu!

Cool stuff by Fenris.
Exciting things in the future
We can't wait to share what we've been working on! Thanks to everyone who filled out the We Were Here survey, we've been going carefully through the results and there's a lot of valuable feedback there. Also some amusing details, like the fact there are 193 people (20% of respondents) who claim that 'jump scares' are what they enjoy most in puzzles. Make of that what you will...
That's it for now! We'll leave you with this great screenshot taken by player Fuego Fatuo...
Cheers!

Merry Christmas!

'Tis the season! Christmas is almost here! To celebrate, we have released an update for We Were Here Together on Steam. The explorers have set up the Christmas tree inside the basecamp of We Were Here Together and are looking forward to opening up their presents, but before they can do that, you and your co-op partner will have to figure out how to turn on the lights! You might find yourself in places you’ve never been before….

The We Were Here Together update also brings a host of improvements and fixes - read the full changelog here!

We Were Here and We Were Here Too launched on Xbox One this year as well! Overall it's been a great 2019 for Total Mayhem Games, and we'd like to thank you all for your support!

We Were Here Together - Out Now!

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]
When We Were Here was released, who knew that years later we would be releasing the third game in the series? Not us! But here we are, and We Were Here Together is out now! It has more of the cooperative puzzle solving and exploration that you know and love, this time with more story, more locations, and just... more.

Start out at the base camp...

The game is available on Steam for $12.99 / €12.99. There is a 5% launch discount, and everyone who has played one of the earlier We Were Here games will get an extra 10% discount!

A We Were Here Together Supporter Edition is available, containing a special walkie-talkie skin, beautiful artworks designed especially for desktop or phone backgrounds, and almost an hour of music! For newcomers or those looking to complete their We Were Here collection, check out the We Were Here Series Bundle! It does what it says on the can, with all three games, two supporter editions, and every soundtrack in one great deal.

At the start of the game, you and your partner will be able to walk around together, looking for clues and solving puzzles. There's an epic journey ahead of you, from the warmth of the base camp through the Antarctic wastes to the sinister Castle Rock. Inside, you'll get split up.

Travel through the icy wastes...

...and who knows where you'll end up?

From then on, you and your partner will really have to test your communication skills to their limits, sharing your asymmetric perspectives to figure out puzzles together. Keep your eyes open, keep talking, and you might just make it out in one piece.

We Were Here and We Were Here Too have been enjoyed by more than 2,000,000 players on Steam since their releases, and We Were Here Together improves on the classic formula. Visit outside Castle Rock for the first time, collect items for your inventory, and spend time with your partner, exploring side by side… for a time. As requested, there is more story than ever before, including a third explorer trapped inside Castle Rock who says they have a way to escape – can you trust them?

What’s new?
 • Even closer coop – you won’t always be split up from your partner this time. Explore together, try both sides of a puzzle for a different perspective, it’s up to you! Just don’t get too comfortable - Castle Rock has some tricks waiting for you…
 • The great outdoors – puzzle outside Castle Rock for the first time, from the deceptively cosy expedition base camp through imposing sub-zero valleys to breath-taking frozen caves.
 • Gadgets won’t save you - but they might help! Figure out how to use new equipment and gather an inventory of curious items to solve puzzles and progress towards the fateful finale in We Were Here Together.
 • You aren’t alone in Castle Rock – and this time you get to meet a fellow explorer who is trapped inside. Could they know a way out… and can you trust them?

Thanks to our wonderful community for all the support! We wouldn’t have made it without you. As for our alpha and beta testers – you will be getting special walkie-talkie skins and a place in the credits for going above and beyond!

We hope you'll all come along together with us for the third entry – We Were Here Together!
