Greetings Adventurers,

During the June 23rd (Wed) maintenance, Black Desert's Steam App ID for Thailand, Southeast Asia, Russia, Turkey & MENA was unified.

We previously announced [here] that Adventurers would be able to play the game without any additional actions after the Steam App ID unification. However, we discovered that certain Adventurers who accessed Black Desert before the maintenance needed to reinstall the client.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by our previously mistaken announcement.

As a result, Adventurers of the Thailand, Southeast Asia, Russia, Turkey & MENA service who previously purchased a package that included a game pass from the Steam Store and accessed the game before the Steam App ID unification were sent a Value Pack (15 Days) as compensation. You can find the Value Pack in your Steam Web Storage.

We will do our best to prevent any further inconveniences from the Steam App ID unification.

- Once maintenance begins, you will be disconnected from the game even if you are waiting in-queue.
- If you are still playing the game before the maintenance time, please move your character to a safe location (safe zone) before maintenance begins.
- If you exit the game while in a combat zone, your character and/or mount can be attacked by monsters or other Adventurers.
- If you receive an error message stating that you are already logged in after the maintenance, please try restarting your client.
- The maintenance schedule and details stated above are subject to change at any time. Any changes will be announced as an update via this notice.

First off, thank you to all our Adventurers who enjoy playing Black Desert through the Steam platform. We want to announce that the separately managed (depending on service region), Black Desert and Black Desert Online, Steam titles will be unified into a singular Black Desert title during the maintenance on June 23 (Wed).


Once this happens, Adventurers in North America, Europe, Russia, Turkey & MENA, Thailand, and the Southeast Asia regions will be able to play Black Desert under one Steam Store page, and freely discuss and share their thoughts in one community.


Please note that the unification of Steam App ID does not mean that the game servers are being unified; you will still be playing on your existing region’s server after this change.


After the maintenance on June 23, (Wed), you will no longer see the title as Black Desert Online in your Steam Library, but as Black Desert instead.



All you have to do is select the new Black Desert title, and you’ll be able to play on your usual server as same as before.

Event Details
- Pre-create Corsair during the event to be 100% guaranteed to receive the following rewards!



* The creation rewards will be sent the following week as follows.



* You cannot participate in this event multiple times, and rewards are sent based on when you participate in event.

* You can only receive the creation rewards once per Family.

* What happens if you create Corsair as your summer season character? You will get both the rewards for creating Corsair and the Season Character Pre-Creation! Check out the [Event] Summer Season Pre-Creation!

[h3]How to Create Corsair[/h3]

1. Log in to Black Desert and select a server.
   - Feel free to pick whichever server! You’ll be able to switch to another server after 15 minutes so there’s no need to dwell on it!
   
2. Select the [+] button in the character selection screen to create your Corsair!
   
   
   
   
3. Customize your very own Corsair and click the “Create Character” button.
   - You’ll be able to play your created Corsair after the maintenance on June 29, 2021 (Tue)!
