- Login Rewards can be viewed by going to the in-game [ESC] menu → [Login Reward]. The rewards are sent to your “Black Spirit’s Safe” once you log in.



* Using the [Event] Beef Thin Skirt will grant you a Skill EXP +30% buff. (Cooldown is 60 minutes)

Additional Notices
- Unreceived login rewards due to missed logins during the event period cannot be recovered.
- You must log in with a level 7 or higher character to receive login rewards.
- Login rewards can only be collected once per Family.
- You can collect a second login reward when you play for an hour (or more) on Saturday and Sunday. This only applies to Adventurers that have less than the maximum number of stamps available and have not collected all the login rewards during the event period.

The long-awaited 2022 has finally arrived!

Feels like the year flew by thanks to your Adventurers’ loving support and encouragement, even during these socially difficult times.

Mo-ha! (It means “Greetings Adventurers!” but shortened in Korean)

The new year is upon us. The ddukgoog (a rice cake soup) is a must-eat dish every January 1st. It also has the meaning of getting a year older when we eat the ddukgoog. How about you? Do you eat a special dish to celebrate the new year?

As the Korea Black Desert service team slowly went through the memories of 2021, our most memorable moment is probably the “2021 CalpheON Ball.” Due to circumstances, we couldn’t meet in person, however, we were glad and found it truly meaningful to have that chance to meet and hear our Adventurers directly.

You are also probably planning to make new year’s resolutions for 2022. We from the Korea Black Desert service team would like to send you our energy so that you may achieve them (of course, this includes Enhancements!). We will continue to support and cheer for our Adventurers and strive to provide great service in the year 2022! Now, shall we start to make great memories in 2022, the year of the Tiger!?

The Taiwan & Hong Kong & Macao service team recall meeting with many of our Adventurers through offline events, in friendly T-Arsha matches, and other fun events in 2021. Sawadee kap, Adventurers! We here in Thailand are bearing through warm temperatures of 30 degrees Celsius as we await the new year. On January 1st, we also take part in counting down the minutes of the previous year, and 4 years ago, today, we still remember the ordeals of preparing for the Thai server launch.

It is truly our joy and blessing to be able to welcome in the new year together with our Adventurers. 2021 went by so quickly thanks to you all! It was truly a thankful year we will never be sure to forget!

We were especially grateful to have been able to greet all of our Adventurers across the globe at the 2021 CalpheON Ball. We hope you get to enjoy countless dishes as tasty as Cron Meals, that you stay healthy, and make plenty of fun memories with Black Desert! ♥ And join us to celebrate the 4-year anniversary of Black Desert in Thailand this coming January 17th! This time of the year is when we’re preparing for the Southeast Asia server’s anniversary, so January 1st is an incredibly exciting time for us. 😊

We hope everyone achieved their goals this year! Although the Southeast Asia team does have some regrets, we still believe 2021 was a happy year for us as we held many surprise GM events and made many memories with our Adventurers.

2022 is just around the corner. In Russian-speaking regions, there is an interesting tradition where you write down your new year’s wishes on a piece of paper, burn it, mix the ashes with a glass of champagne, and drink it on New Year’s Eve to make your wishes come true. We believe many Adventurers are making their wishes with their eyes closed -- at this very moment!

As we’re able to make memories with everyone, we’re able to provide a happy and meaningful service every day. We hope to make more memories with you all in Black Desert this coming 2022. We wish you a blessed and happy new year, and hope all your new year’s wishes come true. Love you all!

Greetings, Adventurers! This is the Console service team. 2021 was truly a meaningful year for Black Desert Console Adventurers. With the “Summer Season” that began this past summer, we were overjoyed to finally bring about the seasonal content to console (especially thanks to so many Adventurers who took part in the update! We’d like to take this time to thank you all once more.)

We’re also preparing a streaming show in a weekly update format as we hope that 2022 will be the year we can finally communicate in person with all of our Adventurers. Happy New Year!

Every day has been a joy-filled opportunity to meet with and hear the voices of our Adventurers thanks to the start of Pearl Abyss's service on Feb 26, 2021. The screenshot event we held in celebration of NAEU's service, with the wonderful “Together As One” Title, is still so fresh on our minds. We're so happy to finally be able to show our gratitude to all our Adventurers, who are all so amazing, each and every one of you! :D

Being able to spend 2021 with our Adventurers brought us incredible joy. Thanks to the love and support you’ve given us, Black Desert South America is heading towards its 5th Anniversary after our 4th Anniversary in 2021.

Unlike other regions, South America is seeing the start of its hot summer. We hope the winter events will keep you cool at least in-game. To celebrate the coming new year, we’ve prepared various events and fireworks, so we hope you’ll make many fond memories with your fellow Adventurers.

- During the event, you’ll be able to obtain a special New Year’s buff by consuming Energy via the Black Spirit > Exchange (E).



* This event buff cannot be stacked more than once. If you obtain the same buff while the buff is already active, you will only refresh the buff’s duration.
* Buffs from item scrolls such as [Event] J's Special Scroll, [Event] Supreme Old Moon Scroll, etc. will stack with the event buff.

[h2]3. Box Full of Wishes[/h2]

Event Period - January 1, 2022 (Sat) 00:00 - January 5, 2022 (Wed) before maintenance

Event Details
① Once the 2022 New Year arrives, accept the event questline from the Black Spirit!


* These quests are part of the same questline, so you must complete the preceding quest to advance to the next quest. (I.e. You must complete [Event] Wish Lantern to progress to [Event] Make a New Year's Wish.)
* This questline can only be completed once per Family.
* Your character must be Lv. 56 or higher to be able to accept the questline.

② Open the [Event] Box Full of Wishes to obtain all of the items below.


* The [Event] Caphras Stone Bundle and [Event] Memory Fragment Bundle contain anywhere from 50 to 100 of their respective items.

[h2]4. Ringing in the New Year![/h2]

Event Period - January 1, 2022 (Sat) 00:00 - January 5, 2022 (Wed) before maintenance

Event Details
① Defeat monsters during the event for a chance to obtain the Joyful Pouch of Fortune.
- Item Availability Period: December 29, 2021 (Wed) after maintenance - January 5, 2022 (Wed) before maintenance



② Bring the Joyful Pouch of Fortune to NPC Lara near the hill above the Coastal Cave to accept the quest below.


③ Hand over the Joyful Pouch of Fortune to ring in the 2022 New Year and complete the quest.


* The selectable buff rewards will apply immediately upon being selected.
* The Gold Bar 10G can be sold to Storage Keepers for 1,000,000 silver.
* This quest can be completed once a day per Family for a maximum of five times during the event.

This winter is your chance to experience the thrill of ice fishing in the Black Desert world!

And wouldn’t it be even better if you had a “fwuzzy” alpaca to accompany you in your ice fishing adventures?

Event Details
① During the event, you’ll be able to go “Ice Fishing” at the Serene Spring in the Balenos Mountains.



② Obtain the special fishing rods for ice fishing by speaking with NPC Crio or Abelin in Velia.

[How to Obtain Fishing Rods for Ice Fishing]

* You cannot obtain the [Event] Splat Fisher's Fishing Rod if you already have it in your Inventory (I).



③ Once you have the [Event] Splat Fisher's Fishing Rod, accept special quests from Abelin and Crio to start ice fishing!
Tip! Right-click the [Event] Splat Fisher's Fishing Rod from your Inventory (I) to see the location of the Serene Spring.

[Special Family Quest to Obtain an Alpaca]

* This event quest can only be completed once per Family.
* Only Shai characters can ride the Fwuzzy Alpaca.
* The Fwuzzy Alpaca and Registration: Fwuzzy Alpaca will be removed during the maintenance on February 23, 2022 (Wed). (Both will no longer be rideable/usable after this date.)

[Weekly Quests for Ancient Spirit Dust & Snowflake Dice] - Weekly Quest Availability Period: December 30, 2021 (Thu) 00:00 - January 12, 2022 (Wed) before maintenance


* Weekly quests can only be completed once a week per Family. (Resets every Thursday at 00:00 UTC)

④ Once you’ve arrived at the Serene Spring with the [Event] Splat Fisher's Fishing Rod, you’re ready to start ice fishing!
- Keep in mind that you can’t catch the event fish with a normal fishing rod!

How to Ice Fish

(1) At the Serene Spring, right-click the [Event] Splat Fisher's Fishing Rod from your Inventory (I) to start ice fishing.

(2) Once you get a bite, try to successfully complete the minigame.



(3) The minigame will last up to 30 seconds, and your goal is to keep the fish in the blue gauge until its endurance runs out. Once the fish is all tuckered out, you’ll be able to catch the fish with your spacebar!


- Rotate Mouse (Left): Reel in the line and bring the fish closer to the surface.


- Rotate Mouse (Right): Slacken the line and allow the fish to move away from the surface.
