• Stormbringer Karanda
  

  For a long time, Calpheon's Delphe Knights have been battling the harpies on the Karanda Ridge to take Balenos Mountains into Calpheonian territory. Delphe Knights were on the verge of reclaiming the ridge but the harpies made a last attempt to fight back by electing a new harpy queen of unprecedented strength. The newly crowned queen, using her fierce winds and piercing feather attacks, almost annihilated the Delphe Knights with her devastating powers. Delphe Knight's Commander-in-Chief Brego Williar has dubbed the new queen as "Stormbringer Karanda" and elevated alert levels along the ridge frontline.

  • Stormbringer Karanda can rain a series of piercing feather attacks and push back adventurers with even more powerful wind.
    
  • Stormbringer Karanda can also summon more harpies to her side to attack and threaten adventurers.

  • Storm Devoured awakening weapons have one crystal slot and Critical Hit Damage +3% effect.
    

"Stormbringer Karanda," first shown in Black Desert Global Labs, has been updated into the live servers. Nightmarish/Bloodstorm bosses had their stunningly fieresome looks and powerful attacks but Stormbringer Karanda is slightly different in that it is based on Karanda's original patterns. So if you're familiar with the original Karanda, it should be relatively easier to deal with than Bloodstorm Nouver. But to make things more interesting, we've added the rare loot "Heart of Karanda" so we hope adventurers have a lot of fun!

  • Using Ibedor's Scroll near Salanar Pond will open Ibedor's Endless Night. Defeating the appearing monsters will give you rewards.
    
  • The loot of defeating monsters from Ibedor's Endless Night can be shared by a maximum of 5 members.
    
  • Defeating boss monsters from Ibedor's Endless Night will drop "Specter's Energy" and "Embers of Despair" at a certain rate.

• Closing the Black Desert web window after using it will now shut down the process.
  

• All unconverted Tuvala gear will be automatically converted.
  
  • All adventurers who have graduated from the season may still complete the quest "[Perilla's Star] Fughar's Woe" by talking to the Black Spirit (,).
    
  • "[Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon" obtained after graduation can now be used after the end of the Season Server.
    
  • Graduated characters can progress and receive special rewards for "Fughar's Secret to Success" whenever they want.
    
  • All Season-related items were converted or deleted: Tuvala Enhancement Material, Tuvala Conversion Stone, Unconverted Tuvala gear, and other Season-related items.

• Wind Explosion Shot - Changed the skill description from "Pushes the target on good hits (PvE Only)" to "Pushes the target on 1st hit (PvE Only)" to better reflect the skill's actual effect.
  

[h3]Sorceress[/h3]

• Nightmare - Fixed the skill to apply its Super Armor effect correctly when used while moving backwards.
  
• Flow: Rushing Crow - Improved the skill to properly display the falling animation when falling from a high place while using the skill.
  
• Flow: Rushing Crow - Added the phrase "Only usable with scythe through quick slot" to the skill description.
  
• Black Wave - Added the phrase "Pushes the target on good hits (PvE Only)" to the skill description to better reflect the skill's actual effect.
  

[h3]Valkyrie[/h3]

• Divine Judgment of Light - Fixed the skill effects to better match its actual area of damage.
  
• Core: Hastiludium - Fixed the issue where using Core: Hastiludium skill with insufficient stamina would display abnormal character motions.
  

[h3]Striker[/h3]

• Wolf's Explosive Fangs - Added the Knockback icon to the skill effect window.
  
  • The applied effect is the same as before.

• Added special poses for Noel Outfit.

• The Guild Boss Giant Mudster has amassed powerful energies from the soil of Glish Ruins.
  
  
  
  • As Giant Mudster's body begins to crumble from taking damage, it will let out a large cry, calling forth Mudsters.
    
  • The Giant Mudster will try to absorb these Mudsters into its own body, which will restore those destroyed portions and thereby restore its health in the process.
    
  • You must defeat the Mudsters before they reach The Giant Mudster to prevent it from restoring its health.
    
  • As the Guild Boss Giant Mudster has grown much stronger, the chance to loot Stone of Malice has greatly increased, along with other junk loot drops.
    

• The Guild Boss Ancient Puturum's power source has reached its limit and has made its attacks more dangerous than before.
  
  • Once Ancient Puturum gathers a portion of its energy, it will begin summoning power towers to draw from them and deal a devastating attack.
    
  • You must defeat the power towers within 1 minute to prevent Ancient Puturum from unleashing his devastating attack. Also, power towers will inflict explosive damage upon destruction.
    
  • Defeating all the summoned towers within 1 minute will cause Ancient Puturum to lose power and land to remain immobile for a short period of time.
    
  • Improved the loot dropped by Guild Boss Ancient Puturum.
    

• Fixed the issue with the landing animation of Ancient Puturum spawned from Dark Rifts after certain attacks.
  

• Fixed the text on the Black Spirit's Dice in the Oasis Event Benefits icon's popup description on the top left side of the screen.
  
• Fixed the issue where the window background became brighter when hovering your mouse over the Skill Add-on Selection UI.
  
• You can now save your "Toggle Black Spirit's Rage" and "Toggle" settings in the Skill Presets.
  
• Fixed the All Worker List window to open normally when right-clicking on a Beer in the family inventory.
  
• Fixed the number of Beer in the family inventory to refresh normally while the Recover All Workers window is open.
  

• Fixed the issue where you could not transport mounts from the Wharfs/Stables of certain regions such as Kuit Islands, Narcion, etc.
  
• Fixed the issue where you could not open the temporarily saved customizing file when the game client was closed while customizing.
  
• Fixed the tooltip that appears when opening a Lahr Arcien Outfit Box to match the actual item.
  
• Fixed the issue where your Karma decreased every time a set period of time elapsed when fighting another adventurer consistently with the forced PvP mode on.
  
• Slightly decreased the game file size by removing unnecessary videos.
  
• Fixed the effect text and the description on the bottom side of the Caphras Enhancement window.
  
• Fixed the rocks at a certain region of Olun's Valley to look natural.
  
• Fixed the tree at a certain region of North Kaia Mountain to look natural.
  
• Fixed the issue where sometimes you could walk underwater.
  
• Fixed the issue where your character would get stuck at certain structures in O'draxxia.

This time, Korea will face off against the Taiwan (Taiwan & Hong Kong & Macao) team in a world conquest war. Though this global conquest war isn't for our region, we wanted to give the chance for NA and EU adventurers to take part by rooting for and guessing who may win!

• Family Inventory
  
  Shakatu, the Valencian Mogul, discovered a special ancient artifact at Cantusa Desert and has called upon adventurers to visit Shakatu's Territory. After witnessing the ancient artifact, adventurers have dubbed it the "Family Inventory."
  • What is a Family Inventory?
    
  • Family Inventory is a convenient bag that all characters in the same family have access to. However, only consumable items listed below can be placed in this inventory.
    
    • 1) Scrolls
      
    • 2) Food
      
    • 3) Elixirs
      
    • 4) Pet Feed
      
    • 5) Worker Stamina Recovery Food
      
  • The Family Inventory can be obtained through quests or through the Pearl Shop by purchasing the Family Inventory Slot Coupon with Pearls or Loyalties, which creates a "Family Inventory" category within the Inventory upon use.
    
  • Starting weight of Family Inventory is 100LT. The Family Inventory can be expanded up to 28 slots.
    
  • Please note that the below items cannot be moved to the Family Inventory.
    
    • 1) Items bound to characters
      
    • 2) Oasis exclusive items
      
    • 3) Items purchased from the Guild Shop
      
    • 4) Content-specific items (such as Guild, Red Battlefield, Savage Rift items)

Over the past few years, we've had many voices from all over the world requesting a Family-shared inventory space. We thought having the Maid/Butler system and the addition of the Central Market would satisfy this need, but the requests were still frequent. So we decided to finally add the Family Inventory. However, only certain types of items can be placed in the Family Inventory. You can obtain the Family Inventory via a quest, which will start you off with 2 slots and 100LT. Slot expansion coupons can be purchased with Pearls and Loyalties.

• End of Autumn Season
  
  • All remaining Autumn Season characters who've yet to convert will be converted to regular characters.
    
    • All unaccepted nor incomplete "Season-related quests" will be deleted.
      
    • Adventurers who have yet to complete the quest “[Season Server Graduation] Into the Big Wide World” will receive the following items in their Mailbox (B) - Gift Box Full of Memories, Fughar's Letter of Encouragement, [Season] Tuvala Conversion Stone Box.
      
      • Gift Box Full of Memories, Fughar's Letter of Encouragement can be claimed without an expiration date from your mailbox.
        
      • [Season] Tuvala Conversion Stone Box must be claimed from your mailbox and used before December 9 regular maintenance.
        
  • You may use the Tuvala Conversion Stone for each corresponding piece of gear until December 9, 2020 (Wed) before maintenance. After December 9 regular maintenance, all Tuvala gear will be automatically converted.
    
    • All adventurers who have graduated from the season may still complete the quest "[Perilla's Star] Fughar's Woe" by talking to the Black Spirit (,).
      
    • Perilla's Star is a special alchemy stone obtainable by season characters who were created during the Autumn Season.
      
    • "[Season] Boss Gear Exchange Coupon" obtained after graduation can now be used after the end of the Season Server.
      
    • Graduated characters can now progress and receive special rewards for "Fughar's Secret to Success" whenever they want.
      
    • Black Spirit Pass and Season Pass objectives have all been deleted. Any unclaimed rewards from the pass are gone.
      
    • After Maintenance on Dec 9, 2020 (Wed.), all Season-related items are scheduled to be automatically converted or deleted: Tuvala Enhancement Material, Tuvala Conversion Stone, Unconverted Tuvala gear, and other Season-related items.
      
• Changed the conditions and time period for retrieving the rewards when reaching levels 60 and 61 with a season character.
  
  • Before: Can be retrieved by a Season character before December 2, 2020 maintenance

  • You can transport mounts held in another Wharf/Stable to the current Wharf/Stable. Guild mounts are excluded from this function.

  • Transporting mounts with trade or barter goods in their inventory have a certain chance to lose all those items, so please take note.
    
  • Large ships cannot be transported to areas they cannot traverse to (i.e. rivers).
    

To bring a mount in a different region, you would previously have to log onto a different character located close to where that mount was stabled to send them to your current character. We've created this function to address the inconvenience of the existing method of transporting mounts.

After the introduction of the Naval Fame system, many adventurers found themselves unable to retrieve their ships from certain wharfs due to the drop in their Naval Fame. Now, with this function, adventurers with "Pirate" Naval Fame can still transport their mounts stored in other locations to the Kuit Islands.

  • The work speed at this node is fast, but there is less chance of obtaining Mass of Pure Magic. However, the ratio of obtained Mass of Pure Magic amount by time is similar to that of Star's End – Excavation node.
    
• You can now use Manufacture on La Orzeca Armor with sockets.
  
  • However, you won't be able to use Manufacture if there're any crystals equipped to it, so you will need to extract the crystal(s) first before crafting.

• Guild Boss Ferrid has absorbed the heat of the hottest lava in Omar Lava Cave and become even more ferocious and powerful.
  
  • Ferrid's attacks, which contain the full might of its power, shake the cave and stimulate the unstable lava, causing a destructive explosion.
    
  • When this overflowed lava creates a swamp, Ferrid's attacks will cause explosions and continuously produce Ferrid Talis.
    
  • Ferrid Tali is very dangerous as it approaches its nearby adventurers and spits out its lava.
    
  • There's a low chance Ferrid Tuny will appear in the Lava Swamp.
    
  • When Ferrid Tuny reaches Ferrid, it will pass on its energy of lava to the Ferrid, making the latter more powerful.
    
  • When the Grapple or the CC status effect is applied to Ferrid Tuny, it will immediately vanish, but if it's near Ferrid at this point, it will still be able to pass on its lava energy of lava to the Ferrid.
    
  • As Guild Boss Ferrid has become more powerful, the chance of obtaining Energy of All Creations has increased as well as the drop rate of other loots.

This issue occurred typically for adventurers using GeForce Now but please click the Redownload Last Saves Settings button to have your previously saved settings applied to your client.
  

[h2]Known Issues[/h2]

• We are aware of the issue where transporting mounts held in Wharf/Stables of some areas including Kuit Islands and Narcion to the current Wharf/Stable is not possible. This issue will be resolved with December 9 regular maintenance. We apologize for the inconvenience.
  
• We are aware of the issue where you cannot recover your Naval Fame when it is changed to Pirate status while having no character who has taken out a large ship in your family. Please contact customer support in the case you encounter this issue and we will provide you the assistance. This issue will be resolved with December 9 regular maintenance.
