You decide the future of First Strike! What should be the next new features?
As you've seen in the previous news post, we are preparing for a possible PC port of the multiplayer version of First Strike. We wanted to check if there is enough interest and if we can do a Kickstarter to get the funding for the port.
The result: There is undoubtedly a big interest for a PC port! 2669 people participated and 2399 said they want the PC version. And a significant number of you even told us, they would be willing to support the funding with a Kickstarter campaign. 1031 said yes to a Kickstarter and 770 said yes, but only if there will be completely new content. š§” Thank you so much for that feedback! š§”
Now we continue with the planning and preparations. A Kickstarter means we also have to prepare possible stretch goals in case we reach more than the initial funding goal.
That's why, you can tell us now what other features do you want in addition to the multiplayer.

- Spectate mode
- New superpowers like Mexico, UK, Pakistan, Ukraine with new superweaons
- Modifiers for singleplayer (like āAll normal rockets do permanent destruction damageā or āAll Research is completed on game startā)
- Option to choose between three difficulty levels
We will add very soon with the coming DEFCON 1 update: - Submarine superweapon and Final Atomic Union as a new superpower (coming with DEFCON 1)
- simplified chat in multiplayer (coming with DEFCON 1)
- bots for multiplayer (coming with DEFCON 1)
