Our PC Live servers are back online!

Hunters,

The PC live servers will be taken offline at 15:00 CEST today. During this downtime, we will release an update that reverts the bugfix that caused the recent issues with the LeMat.

Estimated downtime will be around ~2 hours but could take longer.

For some extra context following on from our communications yesterday:

After thorough investigations into all the options available to us, we have decided that the best option is to move forward with reverting the fix that introduce this problem.

Reverting this will however bring back the reload issue that was encountered with single shot weapons.

We know this is not an ideal situation and would prefer not to re-introduce another bug to resolve any issue but based on our review of all other options available to us - this is the one that will give us the best results with the least amount of impact on other aspects of the game. The options of removing it from every aspect of the game or even partially disabling the weapon would come with other risks that could potentially cause more harm than good.

We appreciate that a lot of you have given us suggestions relating to how to manage the problem with this weapon, and all of them have been reviewed during the last few days. However, it is important to be aware that sometimes a solution that sounds reasonable and simple is not as straight forward as it appears. Alternative options would involve far more work (meaning a longer time before action can be taken) and could cause more problems than the current choice we have made.

We understand how frustrating this issue has been and appreciate the awareness that was brought to this so we could attempt to resolve it as quickly as possible.
