Yuppie Psycho Mod Support | Catechesis Trailer + Devlog

[p][/p]
Mod Support
[p]Fellow Employees, Sintracorp is proud to announce the release of mod support for Yuppie Psycho (BETA), and we’re really excited to finally share it with you.[/p][p]With these new tools, you can create your own floors, characters, dialogue, and even music. Whether you want to make a sequel, a side story, or something completely new, you now have the power to build your own version of Yuppie Psycho.[/p][p]You can try right now "Hawaiian Day" an independent short story (15–20 minutes) we created to show the capabilities of the MOD tools. It's also a fun way to see some of our favorite characters from Sintracorp one more time.[/p][p][/p]
Do you want to try it?
• [p]Also we recommend you to join our Discord Server. There you’ll find all the guides, documentation, and support you need to get started, plus a space to share your creations and try out other people’s mods.[/p]
[p]This is a big step for the community, and we can’t wait to see what you come up with.[/p][p][/p]
Catechesis
[p]In parallel, we’re also sharing a new teaser trailer & Devlog for Catechesis, our upcoming horror RPG title.[/p][p]Trailer[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]Devlog[/p][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p]There’s also a new devlog that gives a detailed look at the current state of development. We recently held private playtesting sessions with other developers, who tried out the first three dungeons and shared a lot of valuable feedback. Overall, the response was positive, but we’re making adjustments to the difficulty curve and fine-tuning progression to make the experience more balanced and accessible. The devlog also dives into key mechanics, like the skill tree, how demon blood works, and how checkpoint altars function. We also introduce two new enemies (Kefalipos and Osonupo) and expand on the game’s characters and story, especially the role of the church and Daniel’s relationship with his grandfather and mentor, Don Ezequiel.[/p][p][/p][p]We hope you enjoy all the updates and thank you for your patience and support. Catechesis is shaping up to be a big game, and we want to take the time needed to get it right.[/p][p][/p]

[p][/p][p]While you're here, why not take a look at our Carnival of Chaos and sample our devilishly ghoulish collection of indie game demos from Neon Doctrine and our fiendish friends?[/p][p][/p]
🎪Neon Doctrine Carnival of Chaos🎪
[p][/p][p][/p][p]📅 July 24th - August 4th 10AM PT [/p][p]📍 Carnival of Chaos Steam page[/p][p][/p][p]Stay tuned for more information! What games inspired Yuppie Psycho?
👨‍💼 Dear Employees,
We would like to take a moment to share some important updates regarding our ongoing projects.

As we continue development on our upcoming title, Catechesis, there is also an exciting Yuppie Psycho surprise in the works. Due to Sintracorp’s strict confidentiality policies, we are unable to reveal details at this time. However, we encourage you to stay tuned in the coming weeks for the announcement of a new product that we believe will be of great interest to you. (🐀 Forest Goblin already tasted the barcodes, and he says, 'It's delicheesius!)

(Illustration of our upcoming game Catechesis. Did you know some Yuppie Psycho references could appear in it? Or maybe not... its a Misterio....)

Additionally, we would like to address a topic that has been frequently brought up. Many of you have inquired about the inspirations behind Yuppie Psycho. As you may be aware, our creative influences are vast and varied. However, there is one particular horror subgenre that often does not receive the recognition it deserves. RPG Maker Horror. In an effort to pay tribute to the games that paved the way for our own work, we have prepared a special video to honor these foundational titles.

Thank you for your continued dedication and enthusiasm. We look forward to sharing more with you soon.

Best regards,
Sintracorp Industries
