Forgotten Paradox strategy game Empire of Sin just got new DLC after four years

Paradox Interactive is known best for creating and publishing historical strategy games like Crusader Kings 3, Victoria 3, Imperator: Rome, and the upcoming Europa Universalis 5. It's also branched out, though, by putting out games like Shadowrun: Hong Kong creator Harebrained Schemes' noir-inflected The Lamplighters League, medieval combat game War of the Vikings, and supporting The Chinese Room's work on Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. Another project in this vein is 2020's Empire of Sin, a solid enough gangster strategy game that seemed to have come and gone without making a major impression. Now, surprisingly, a new expansion has been announced for it, all these years later, and it's out today.
