VIRTUAL DESKTOP INCOMPATIBILITY ISSUE - NOTICE (UPDATE)

[p]UPDATE[/p][p]Hi again, so after a lot of time spent trying to find a workaround it's become obvious that VIrtual Desktop will not detect an Oculus Quest is in use and will always default to Vive/Index controllers/controls.[/p][p]I am unable to fix this until I upgrade the Unreal game engine I am currently using which will take some time.[/p][p]I know this will affect the launch but I'm not going to delay it now at the last moment.[/p][p]Apologies to those affected.[/p][p]-[/p][p]Hi, I have been receiving reports from players that there is currently an issue with Virtual Desktop detecting which headset is in use and so is defaulting to Vive/Index controls which will result in the wrong in-game hand placement and the player will be unable to grab the in-game headset, so far the reports have been from Quest 3 & Pico owners.[/p][p][/p][p]There is also a thread on the Discussions board about the current situation[/p][p][/p][p]I'm working on a fix for launch as I know Virtual Desktop is a well used wireless VR play app.[/p][p]I'll make an announcement when the fix is in place either prior to launch on the 12.12.2025 or at launch.[/p][p][/p][p]In the meantime and to avoid disappointment please be aware you will have to use another means to connect (possibly wired) if you are a Virtual Desktop user.[/p][p][/p][p]Please try the demo before purchasing to avoid disappointment.[/p][p][/p][p]Thanks for your understanding.[/p]
