If you enjoyed the Winter Update (or didn’t get the chance to play it while it was around during the holidays), be sure to grab this so you can enjoy the content year-round!

Just like Halloween, it’ll have a toggle on/off feature, so you can enjoy the holiday-themed party whenever you’re feeling the Christmas spirit.

Already played the update last holiday season? Don’t worry - there’s plenty more awesome stuff planned for both this and the Halloween Holiday Pack in the future!

In the meantime, your favorite holidays will be back soon. We’re still on track with getting the toggle on/off feature into internal beta testing within the next month or two and releasing the Halloween Holiday Pack permanently this Q1 2023.

The Winter Holiday Pack will follow closely behind on Santa Frank’s sleigh: releasing in Q2 2023!

Are you feeling more zen and creative than Madison painting her spirit animals? Or do you just enjoy having the power to create alternate video game universes where Frank isn't typecast as some weird, druggy skinhead and Katherine isn't a stuck-up know-it-all?

This patch isn't live quite yet, but our next update will contain some not-so-minor bug fixes, game optimizations, story and engine improvements, and - best of all - major Custom Story Creator additions. If you're the type of partier who gets creamy about creating personalized House Party stories, you're going to love what we're working on.

This upcoming quality of life update will make it so creators can work faster and more effectively to create more complex stories than ever before. This should make it so more varied custom stories can be created by new and experienced story creators alike. We're hyped to see what kind of party experiences you create!


We're also currently taking steps toward improving Steam Deck performance. Right now, House Party is Playable on the Steam Deck, but we are slowly working toward getting it Verified. We're excited that everyone will be able to enjoy a smoother play experience on the Deck soon!

What would the holidays be without our favorite brahs? Thanks so much for booting up House Party and choosing to celebrate winter with us, partiers!

We had an amazing time celebrating the holidays with you, and, although the House Party Winter Event is officially over (for now), you’ll see it again soon.

Just like the House Party - Halloween Holiday Pack, the Winter Event will return as a FREE permanent DLC in the coming months (with a new toggle on/off feature) and receive future content updates! We’ll share more details on this soon.



Adding the holidays was a spur-of-the-moment passion-and-booze-fueled decision, and we didn’t expect the response to be so positive - or for you doods to want permanent versions of the holidays and a toggle feature!

It’s awesome that you enjoyed it so much, and we plan on bringing those things to you as soon as possible! For now, though, we probably need to slow down on creating new holiday content until around Halloween just so we can keep bringing you more House Party updates alongside the holiday stuff!

However, thanks to your feedback, we have tons of awesome plans for future holidays that we can't wait to get started on! While we work on keeping pace with House Party development and polishing Halloween and Winter as permanent DLCs, we'll also try to confirm some of next year's planned holidays so you can give us extra suggestions on content you might like to see!



We also wanted to take a second to showcase these sweet tattoos some of our Discord community members created recently! Tenag made an awesome flower-themed tattoo for fan-favorite girl Ashley, and Nightimeglobe7 created a sick back tattoo for party host Madison.

It’s always super cool to see you guys getting creative and modding the game to how you envision it with reskinning and custom stories. If you want to see more cool community content or learn how to make your own custom tattoos for House Party characters, come hang out on our Discord!

January 2023 is here, doods, and it's officially time for another year of partying!

Thanks for your supportive comments and New Year's wishes! It's awesome so many of you are hyped for Office Party. It's still in very early stages right now, but we'll keep you updated when we have cool progress to share!

The event ends this January 9th, but it'll be back permanently in a free DLC after we polish it and add a toggle on/off feature. That way you'll be able to activate and deactivate the seasonal content whenever you want to - all year long!

If you missed it, this is a free permanent DLC version of our 2022 limited-time Halloween Event that we're putting together due to community requests! Remember, it was a small event, and the DLC will not have any new content right away (besides the toggle feature in the main menu), but we do plan to add more free updates to it in the future!

Thank you to everyone who participated in our House Party merch design contest! It was a blast seeing all the funny and cool ideas you had!

Congratulations to our winner, pek², who will have their concept featured in our official merch store! They created an absolute masterpiece of Renaissance sculpture that really highlights the brahvado of Michelangelo's David.

This past year has been incredible. It has been awesome reaching so many milestones this year, and we're stoked that you've been on this wild ride with us!



This year, we shared the female player with everyone, and it's been amazing seeing you welcome her to the party with open arms.

It was especially cool to see in our Holiday Feedback Form that so many of you like her, and we've had a lot of fun updating the game to react to a female protagonist and improving House Party's intimacy system to better support her content.



Exiting Early Access this year was unreal.

We poured our hearts into building House Party from the ground up for years, so much so that it doesn't even look like the same game it did when it was first created. We've added so many items, stories, characters, and gameplay mechanics that it's really been a labor of love, and we're finally at a point where we feel proud to call it an out-of-early-access title!



And, wow, the Doja Cat Expansion Pack was a huge task and major learning experience for us.

It was wild making our first DLC, especially with such a popular celebrity right from the start, but we worked really hard on it, and we hope you've found something charming about the content!



Plus, we started delving into seasonal updates this year! Next year, we hope to have the DLCs ready for you, so you can enjoy them all year long!
