Hey everybody, we've got a small update for the base game, the Doja Cat DLC, and the addition of an updated French translation for the Original Story and Doja Cat DLC. Oh, and there's a teensy new thing to find and unlock. ... Rawr?

The bugs that were fixed included some big ones that uh...someone...should totally get a spanking for letting through. One such example: being unable to progress with the Doja DLC content once Katherine needed to get involved. We also addressed some minor things like some silly ol' nails and other pesky items being left behind after the party at Madison's in A Vickie Vixen Valentine. A similar fix was added to prevent said items from somehow mysteriously migrating over to Brittney's house in Date Night with Brittney.

Other fixes include addressing an issue that would cause Amala to be unintentionally censored at times, even though she was clearly wearing a beautiful, leafy ensemble, as well as inconsistencies with the new "meet everybody!" Opportunities that were recently introduced. Finally, on top of all this we added a slew of general stability improvements, increased the amount of cloud saves you could store via Steam, and added a few QOL tweaks. And one more thing! For those of you still waiting on localization of the Doja Cat DLC for your language, we're working on them. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

The House Party - Doja Cat Expansion Pack is out now, and we're super thankful to everyone who has played the DLC and left us feedback!

It’s a blast bringing new, real-world personalities and audiences to our game, and working with the Game Grumps, LetyDoesStuff, and Doja Cat have all been incredible experiences. We've been asked by players for more crossovers, and these partnerships bring great value to our studio, which in turn gives us the resources to bring to life much of what you, our fans and customers, ask for.

We see the feedback from players who have felt that the lack of explicit content in the Doja Cat DLC and our communication surrounding it was disappointing. We hear you. We know that this type of feedback is coming from people who care deeply about our game and our content, and we appreciate your feedback. We’ll make it a priority to remedy this going forward.

We have a growing, diverse player base, some of which enjoy the game without ever purchasing the explicit content DLC. Previously added guests like the Game Grumps focused on the comedy and wild antics of the game without adding nudity or explicit content. This type of content adds to the fun of the House Party experience. Our intent with the character of Doja Cat was to add both comedy and sexiness to the party with her unique charisma and talents to complement new stories while also introducing fresh gameplay.

This does not mean we don’t have more explicit content coming down the pipeline!

In fact, now is a good time to share some exciting news! We've been keeping this under wraps while we focused on the Doja Cat DLC, but we’re excited to share what we’ve been planning for our next House Party Expansion Pack!

We're beginning work on our next DLC which will bring another real-life guest to the party. But this special someone is not only open to a wild party experience but also very excited to work together with us to create some steamy explicit content for their expansion pack!

The real-life AMA and Grammy award-winning global superstar shakes up the original party, and Shit. Just. Got. Real.

You now have an invitation to help the renowned pop artist get into the party and uncover the secret identity of Dinolicious, a costumed online dancing sensation that Doja Cat wants to feature in her upcoming music video. But don’t say we didn’t warn you: making a music video with this band of drunk or disorderly partygoers won’t be easy. You’ll need to make the right choices and be resourceful to help it go viral.

You can watch her react to events around the party, overhear fresh new background conversations from your favorite NPCs, and maybe even spark a bit of romance with Doja Cat herself. And you just know Frank has something to say about this new guest, too. Hmm … wonder how that will turn out?

This DLC also showcases three of Doja Cat's hit songs by tying them into the gameplay and integrating them into the story. Other highlights include:

• Hours of content, scenes, and stories featuring Doja Cat
  
• Multiple endings and side quests
  
• Two stunning “Amala” and “Doja Cat” NPC models
  
• Hundreds of lines of new dialogues voiced by Doja Cat herself
  
• Interactions with the Original Story and base game NPCs

September 30th is almost here, and we can't wait for Doja Cat to crash the party! She'll be here by the end of the week, partiers!

To prep for her exciting release, we're dropping another quick update. Other than a couple of minor bug fixes and Female Playthrough tweaks, this won't affect any current gameplay - it's just a pre-patch to make sure everything is in place for Friday!
