We've all been waiting for the Luxury DLC to finally come out - we've encountered some bumps along the road, but if you're reading this - we succeeded! The DLC will be released TOMORROW at 7pm CET!

House Flipper - Luxury DLC was supposed to be a simple content expansion, but seeing your reactions after we announced it, we just couldn't help ourselves to make it bigger - and yeah, we want a bit too far in that matter. It's the biggest DLC we've ever released, so we're not only excited but also worried.
We're positive that it will make your game better and more enjoyable - we've worked so hard to make it just perfect, but there's no such thing as perfection in the universe. If you stumble upon any issue whatsoever, don't hesitate to contact us. We'll do whatever we can to help you figure stuff out.



We'll be hosting a Developer's Stream tomorrow, so come say hi to us! The plan is to talk about the Luxury DLC and possibly some other stuff - we'll be there to answer all of your questions!

Hey there, Flippers and pet lovers!

It’s been two months since our last development update, so we thought that it is high time for us to let you know what we are working on right now. Before we start, we would like to THANK YOU VERY MUCH, for all the support that we have received so far. Furthermore, we would like to announce that we have reached a goal, which we haven’t dreamed of — more than 150 000 of you added our DLC to your wishlist. We have no words to describe how we feel right now! Once again – Thank you!



In our last Pets DLC Development Update, we showed you a mix of things. This includes animal animations, some fancy-looking furniture, fur (oh gosh, I am still having nightmares), and lovely turtles. What can we show you this time? Well, this time it’s going to be way more fun since we have prepared a little stinky surprise for you! What is more, since we love to have our community involved in our projects, there will be a couple of questions we would like you to answer, so without further ado, let’s get this party started!

First of all, we have managed to prepare some sweet sets of animals, in case some of you would like to create a friendly and lovely foster family for them. Take a look at a couple of examples here:



Aren’t they cute? Also, please let us know in the comment section below, how many types of animals you would like to have in your house at once.

Second of all, the house available for Guinea pigs is nearing its final shape, although there are still a couple of things to do here. Please remember that work is still in progress, so expect more screenshots and information in future updates.



And here comes the stinky surprise, that you all have been waiting for! To make the game more realistic, we’re also working on an inseparable element in the life of every human being, which is… bird poo! Oh, yeah! Who doesn’t love some good bird poo on their car, hmm? But, since we have emphasized such details, we would like to know, what do you guys think? Which of these bird poos look best? Let us know in the comment section below!



In case some of you are wondering — birds (in this particular example pigeons) communicate with each other, so if you see multiple bird poos on your car, that’s probably not a coincidence :)

Another thing that we would like to show you in today's update is quite huge. Actually, it’s not just huge — it is the biggest house available in the Pets DLC. I can assure you that there are more such buildings in the DLC, so stay tuned for further information.



There is a common saying that a dog is a man’s best friend, but we can’t forget the responsibility of having one. We not only have to provide them food and water, but we also need to remember to wash them. We all know that sometimes it can be a tough task to do, so in order to help your four-legged friends with such a thing, we have prepared a special dog washer. Check this out below:



Speaking of water, most of you know that dogs use to shake off the water. Curious about how it looks in the game? We have got you covered. Check this cool animation out:



Also, we have managed to do some work on pampas grass as well. From small to medium, finishing with the bigger ones, they can be a nice, decorative addition while being easy to grow. Check them out below:



Okay, okay, it’s probably high time to show you some more cool animations our team has prepared. In the previous development update, we have shown you some basic animations, but it is time to move forward and show you the advanced ones. Here is the animation of a dog scratching the doors (well, I assume, that you have already guessed what is the reason behind it):

A few days ago on our Social Media platforms I asked you guys if there's anything you want to know about the game and you delivered a bunch of amazing questions! I gathered some of them and added to the already existing FAQ created by Lizzums - one of our amazing discord mods!
I hope you'll find the answers to all of your questions - if not, I'll be happy to update the whole thing once in a while.

Can I create new paint colors on my own, please?

We wish it was that simple! Coding the color wheel is something we thought for quite some time, but there's nothing we can promise for now. Sorry!

LUXURY DLC WHEN?1!?!?!?!?!11!!

It’s coming! We recently announced a release date of 14th October for the Luxury DLC with absolutely loads of new content for you guys. We hope you’ll love it as much as we do!

What platforms is the game available on?

House Flipper is available on PC (Windows and MacOS via Steam, Gog and Epic Games), Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android. Please note that the Mobile (Imaginalis) and Nintendo Switch (Ultimate Games) versions of the game are not developed by Frozen District and so we can not provide support for these versions of the game.

I have a technical issue! What do I do?

Well, first of all, check out this handy-dandy troubleshooting guide (here) and see if it helps you resolve your issue. If you still have problems, you can file a support ticket (here) and someone will assist you as soon as they’re able!

When is DLC coming to console?

Uhhh… eventually. Unfortunately, we don’t have an ETA for console versions of the DLC. They’re very different platforms and so the process for DLC is quite a bit different (and requires lots of time and energy), I assure you, it’s being worked on, but can’t really provide more info than that at the moment. Sorry to keep you waiting!

What is the Workshop?

The Workshop is a magical place full of lots of wonderful extra items created by members of the community – however, it is only available to those who access the game via Steam. You can find it here. If you’d like to read more on how to use the workshop, you can do so here!

How can I create items for the Workshop?

Well, to create items for the workshop, you will need Unity, a steam account, the House Flipper Workshop exporter tool and something to create your 3D models! (If you’re unsure where to start, we can suggest Blender – It’s free to use). You can find a guide to creating for the workshop here.

Where can I see patch notes?

Any patch notes are posted in the game news section and added to this thread. We recommend you follow our Steam news (here) to stay up to date with updates including Development Updates, sales and giveaways!

How can I access game screenshots on PC?

So, there are two methods of taking screenshots in game!

If you used the in-game camera/tablet function, you will find them located in the following directory provided you have House Flipper installed on your C drive:

C:\Users\YOUR USER\AppData\LocalLow\Empyrean\House Flipper Game\Gallery

(Change YOUR USER to your own system username). You will need to have hidden files set to display in order to view this directory.

If you use F12, the screenshots are available when you click the game in your Steam Library and you can choose which to share/upload in the games overview in Steam.

Dolan Trusk keeps buying EVERYTHING! How do I get him to.. not?

THAt guy, am I right?! Each buyer has requirements, thing they wish for their properties, just like any real-life house buyer. They hint at what these things are when you take actions and also during the auction process. How do I earn points in the Garden Competitions? (Garden Flipper DLC content)

As with the buyers, certain requirements need to be fulfilled in order to earn stars in the Garden Competitions. Certain garden types require specific items. There is a guide to these requirements here if you don’t want to figure it out for yourself (https://house-flipper.fandom.com/wiki/Garden_Competitions)

I’ve done all of the jobs in my inbox. Is that it?

Nope! You can go to “Archive” and re-do these jobs as many times as you like. You can select “Browser” instead of “Mail” to see all of the houses available that you can purchase, renovate and sell!

I really liked (Insert House Name Here) and I’d love to work on that property again! Can’t I buy it again?

You can! Once you have flipped (purchased AND re-sold) each house at least once, you can buy and renovate them ‘til your heart is content!

We stan. One day, he’s gonna marry Bessie and we all will be so proud.

We're constantly evolving with our community - one of the vital points of our relationship with the players is our support team. The numbers are constantly raising - more players mean more support tickets. More support tickets mean more work. More work means we need to make some improvements in order to give you all the help you deserve. So what can we do about it?



We chose to optimize the whole process of managing support tickets from our players. Previously, all we had was an e-mail address where players could contact our support crew and let them know about encountered problems.

Today, we're happy to introduce a new support ticketing system based on carefully prepared forms that will aid you in the process of reporting bugs, crashes, and all other monstrosities lurking around our game!
The forms contain a set of questions that will vastly speed up the process of reporting, recognizing, and finding solutions to the reported issues.

Keep in mind that any piece of feedback is always appreciated and over the next couple of months we will deliver even more improvements regarding our support system!

Hey Flippers!

For the last couple of weeks, we've been teasing you with multiple spoilers regarding our biggest DLC yet - not gonna lie; it's heartwarming to see the hype around our community. It's always cool to see that you like the content we're creating. After all, we're doing it just for you!



That being said, we're thrilled to finally announce the final price and the release date!
You'll be able to get all those luxurious mansions, hundreds of items, and a bunch of new NPCs for 14.99 USD. Moonrise Bay will come to House Flipper on October 14th, 2021!
In the meantime, feel free to visit our social media platforms to ease the pain of having to wait!

Oooh, and yeah - don't tell my boss I said that, but we might host some kind of mansion-decorating contest... Halloween is coming, right?
