Hotfix

Fourth patch!

Hey everyone, this patch is mostly focused on fixing issues rather than balance adjustments. Along with the fixes below we've also made an adjustment on the final boss so he should always be able to get back to the arena rather than getting stuck. Thanks to everyone who's been reporting issues, we're doing our best to fix as many issues as we can as quickly as we can.

  • Fixed an issue with clicking a lobby in the server list but joining a different one
  • Fixed a bug with blueprints that cannot be picked up
  • You can no longer evade your own or other players' attacks
  • Fixed attacks like Whirlwind (2h Axe) and Flame Spray (Fire Staff) being broken at certain attack speeds
  • Fixed Rabbit's Foot trinket not gaining effect when attuned
  • Fixed flame floor traps being inconsistent in their timing when turning on and off
  • Fixed not seeing the level when multiplayer spectating in Dark Halls
  • Fixed visual glitch when dashing into walls in Dark Halls
  • Fixed an issue of some buffs showing with no names stat tooltips
  • Fixed skill icons missing in player menu
  • Fixed Rogues Fan of Knives showing incorrect mana costs in its description
  • Added mark for trinkets being attuned on their icons in the inventory
  • Pyre town building now increases how many curses braziers remove
  • Lowered enemy damage scaling from multiplayer player count
  • Doubled how quickly Elemental Prism shoots
  • Doubled Arctic Step damage and how many ice patches are spawned
  • Increased Scroll of Hellfire meteors spawn rate by 66% and cut the fall time by 66%, also slightly increased meteor spread and AoE

Third patch!

  • Added Save Profiles menu with support for Steam Cloud and having separate saves
  • Added game option for managing visibility and colors on different kinds of health bars, letting you visually distinguish between player, enemy, allied players and minion health bars
  • Fixed Weapon Mastery attunement being inconsistent and sometimes broken
  • Fixed Evasion being broken
  • Added a graphic to the load screen with a game option to change its brightness
  • Fixed trinket picker not showing attuned trinket descriptions
  • Added separate icons to Monolith buffs
  • Improved wording in a few different tooltips and descriptions
  • Fixed trap room in Dungeon missing a reward
  • Added HUD icon for Warriors Rage buff
  • Fixed Rangers Entangle showing incorrect mana costs in its description


Balancing:
  • Reduced trap damage scaling
  • Added Architect effect Gentle Traps which lowers trap damage taken by 50%
  • Changed Rogue class title from gold gain to reduced trap damage
  • Buffed Ranger and Wizard class titles to give 3 instead of 2 of attack/spell power
  • Life leech now heals over time with a maximum of filling your health to max over 5 seconds
  • Improvements to player minions targeting and movement
  • Slight adjustment to enchanting costs
  • Imp reward when upgrading item levels now upgrades 5 levels with a max of +15 total on the item going beyond the blacksmiths total of +10
  • Lightning attack from wizards in Courts now have slightly higher damage but it builds up over time giving you a chance to move away
  • Avatar boss in New Game+ 5 and above now does some more damage with the slam in phase 3
  • Two-handed maul damage increased from 150% to 175% weapon damage and Ground Slam increased from 200% to 250% weapon damage
  • Charged shot with bows now penetrate up to 6 enemies instead of 4
  • Bows now shoot 33% faster with a reduced movement speed penalty while attacking
  • Dexterity bows no longer shoot slower while moving


New Game+:
  • Experience rewards from enemies now go up by 33% every New Game+
  • Enemies base armor and resistance now go up by 33% every New Game+
  • Minor adjustment made to enemies base armor and resistance to increase slowly and progressively for every New Game+
  • Enemies now do 5% more base damage per New Game+
  • Lowered armor of the big eye enemies in Dark Halls in New Game+


Sorcerer:
  • Lowered Frost Nova damage from 50/70/100/130/170 to 50/70/90/110/130 but increased their travel distance by 40%
  • Increased Frost Nova - Frost Seekers trigger chance from 25%/50% to 33%/66%
  • Lowered Discharge chaining from 2/4 to 2/3 and increased bounce dmg reduction from -10% to -20%
  • Lowered Flame Wall cooldown from 15s to 13s

Ranger:
  • Lowered ranger wind weaver cooldown from 0.5s to 0.25s
  • Ranger wolf attack AoE increased in size

Wizard:
  • Changed Magic Missiles damage from 40/50/70/90/130 to 50/60/70/85/100

Warlock:
  • Fixed Drain Essence scaling but lowered it from 2%/3%/5%/7%/10% to 2%/2.5%/3%/3.5%/4%
  • Lowered Drain Essence - Life Siphon restoration from 2%/3%/4% to 2%/2.5%/3%
  • Lowered Chaos Blade damage from 100/120/160/200/260 to 100/120/140/160/180
  • Lowered Chaos Rifts max amount from 4/4/6/6/8 to 4/4/5/5/6
  • Lowered Blood Ritual - Leeching Ritual life leech 5%/7.5%/10% to 2%/3%/4%



Some builds have been overperforming significantly while others are underperforming, so while we are toning down some subclasses to keep progression challenging we are also improving others in order to try to increase the variety in viable builds.
We are open to hear additional feedback from the community and although we have been quite overwhelmed with the response, we are reading and listening to what you are saying and we are trying to improve the game to make it the best it can be and enjoyable to everyone.



For people who want to move their existing save to Steam Cloud, the process is to go in to the new Save Profiles menu, copy your current profile, select Steam Cloud as the location of your new profile, and finally switch to it.












Second patch!

* Added player level to multiplayer HUD element
* Added sound option for disabling the combo sound loop
* Added game option for multiplayer names opacity
* Added missing combo descriptions to library menu
* Picking combo at the Library now awards the appropriate achievement if it wasn't gained already
* Fixed a bug where a mission selection made in multiplayer could stick in your singleplayer town
* Fixed a couple of exploits related to resuming a run
* Fixed a bug where you could resume a run and spawn in the previous level with several things broken
* Fixed a bug where a client in multiplayer could build buildings based on what the host had unlocked
* Fixed a bug where a client in multiplayer could create a character based on what classes the host had unlocked
* Fixed a bug where clients could sometimes take a trinket on the ground meant for the host
* Thunderbird no longer does damage to players when spawning in
* Added confirm prompts for exiting game and abandoning a run
* Fixed issue with players getting stuck behind the gate of the Shadow Face boss fight
* Fixed several minor issues in the Courts act

We don't quite have a proper roadmap with new features we're planning on adding yet, we're looking at feedback and prioritizing things based on that. Right now our high priority large issues are multiplayer connectivity problems, adding in save profiles with steam cloud support, modding support starting with translations, and some kind of redesign of the curse system in New Game+ to let it be a bit more of a risk/reward decision for the player rather than having it just be a part of enemy attacks.
