Henchmen Update Fixes

V45c Hotfix

- Investigated some possible Unreal Engine issues which could cause the game to sometimes not close properly.
- Fixed a bug where the henchmen stayed on the road after finishing a mission.
- Fixed a bug with the henchmen car not properly spawning if you call it while it is delivering a henchmen.
- Fixed a bug where you could place walls outside of the owned plot.
- Fixed a bug with the Red Alert arrows options which wasn't getting applied properly.

Price Fix

- Fixed an issue with the new recipe outputs and prices
- Fixed an issue where staff stepped out of line and were resting where they shouldn't be
Version is now v45b

Cookbook Fix

Fixed cookbook not showing new recipies for some really strange reason that even Ed says he has no idea why it happened and he hates programming.

The Henchmen Update!

Today we are dropping one of our largest updates yet! The Henchmen update. This is a multi feature multi item update! So there could be bugs!



We’ve been working on this update for some time and today we are happy to put it out to you all to play, enjoy and give feedback on.




For ages we’ve wanted to start putting Gunsmith into a darker direction, and now you can hire a henchman to help you run the business.

You start by picking loyal staff members to promote to henchmen, you’ll have to pay them more to do your dirty work.

You can take illegal orders from the orders pool and they won't pay you into your account anymore, instead, you’ll get cold hard cash, gold, diamonds or even drugs. This is the start of a new branch of the game that we want to go down, eventually there will be scenarios and stories to expand on this feature.



The pros are that you get way more money for illegal items, then your henchmen will hop into a car and get those items laundered into your account for a fee. We also introduced safes to store items inside, for now they are for show but we will build on this in future.

Once you start laundering your items your chosen Henchman will take it to a car and go do their thing.



They have their own room and their own gangster chairs to sit on as well.

That’s not only it, we’ve added 7 new items to the game.

Flash Bangs

Incendiary Grenades

Smokes


All of these have new ingredients to expand on in future. We’ve also added;

Bird Shot

Buck Shot

Slug rounds.


So now you have several new lines of items to design.



On top of that, we have reworked the lighting system, we ended up removing placable lights as they were just too costly and provided little performance. However we have now made it look much nicer hopefully gained FPS and also improved QOL for the whole game.



Oh and one last thing, if staff betray you, your henchmen might ask if you want them to be... Taken care of...
