Update v1.1.5f8 is live to fix Black screen issue.

Hello hackers,

A short post to announce you that we have just released a small update (version 1.1.5f8) to solve a blocking bug which made the game impossible to launch in some rare cases (Black screen at start).
Thank you to Cat and Knightmare for reporting it on Hacktag's official Discord. And speaking about amazing communities, I wanted to take a few lines to speak about a very cool initiative :

it's the Love Indies week
!

How?
The Goal of the Love indies week is to celebrate ... well... Indie games by taking a little of our precious time to play and speak about the Indie Games we love.

How?
Pick some indies you love, so it may include Hacktag -obviously!- but also every other game that you think deserves more attention. Play it and then you can:
- Speak about it to your friends, or even to your favorite content creators
- Recommend it on Social media
- Write a review on Steam.
- Join the community (Discord, Twitter etc...)
etc..

When?
Now! It has already started this Monday, June 3rd and until June, 14th.
This Saturday you can also participate in the review hour where the goal is to write as many reviews as possible at 10.00 PT time.

Have fun!

FIXED! Connexion issues : infinite connecting

UPDATE 26 Apr: Good news hackers!

The infinite connection issue some player has experienced is now fully fixed for everyone.

You can now fully enjoy the Easter Egg event. so to your hacking minivans hackers!

------------------------
Original post: 24 Apr

Hello hackers,

Few players have recently reported us infinite connecting issues when trying to play online with another player.

This is due to a recent problem with our relay servers which our smart and devoted dev team is currently working on fixing.

In the meantime, for thus encountering this issue and until the fix is live anytime soon, you can try a temporary solution by setting up the ports forward of your modem/router to your computer for UDP and TCP protocols on port range 27015 to 27020

It will allow the game to make a direct connection with your friend when creating a game instead of using the relay servers.

How to proceed :
  • In your modem or internet router settings
there is a section called generally PAT/NAT or port forwarding.
  • You must add a new rule for UDP protocol on port range 27015 to 27020 pointing to the local IP address of your computer.
  • The internet traffic going to the ports of your modem will be forwarded to your computer and make you able to host a game directly, avoiding the game to select a relay server for you.

You can find the details here on the Steam forum if you need more support and we are of course also available via email: support [at] pieceofcake-studios.com or Hacktag's official Discord server.

Thank you for your patience, see you soon!
