Important Announcement - Upcoming Map Changes, No Build Zones, and EOS

Greetings Survivors,
We have an important announcement regarding no-build zones.

The upcoming patch has 7 additional "no build zones", if you have a base in these areas it is recommend that you move it before the patch is deployed.

This is due to bridges becoming choke-points, as vehicles will not be able to enter water, and the terrain has been lowered along the rivers in preparation for the new swimming mechanic. Highlighted below are the areas that will no longer be build-able zones after the next patch.



We usually only make changes to no build zones and terrain between seasons to avoid this issue, but since we are near the end of the season - this change is coming into effect.

We are wrapping up testing and completing the next patch and anticipate the next patch will be released later this week.

With the release of the upcoming Farms and Islands Patch, and in preparation for enabling cross-play with users from the Epic Games Store and migration to EOS Anti-Cheat, we have also created an FAQ regarding the integration of Epic Online Services which will be a requirement for the game to function going forward.
