Of all of the studios that form what I've come to refer to as the Disco Diaspora - the gang of four (at current) studios outside of ZA/UM that have all seemed to vaguely be vying for the title of Disco Elysium spiritual successor - Longdue is arguably the one that's been most active in marketing its game that way.
Disco Elysium has earned itself a wealth of plaudits, and with good reason. The narrative-led adventure RPG remains a profound achievement in the way it crafts an interweaving network of stats, decisions, and dialogue choices that come together to put your own unique spin on its detective tale. As numerous spiritual sequels shape up for release at other studios, many involving developers who worked on the original game, the new-look ZA/UM reveals that it's bringing Disco Elysium back in a brand-new, surprising form.
