Update on the 1.0 Launch Date & Patch Notes

Hunters,

At the beginning of this year, we announced our plans to release Relic Hunters Legend simultaneously on PC and Xbox, aiming for a Q2 2025 launch. However, we’ve recently encountered some unexpected and serious challenges with the porting process to Xbox. As a small indie team with limited resources, ensuring the same level of quality and excellence across all platforms is a top priority for us.

After careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to delay the 1.0 launch to Q3 2025. This wasn’t easy—but we believe it’s the right choice to give the game the second chance it deserves and allow more players to discover this heartfelt adventure about time travel, friendship, and reclaiming lost memories.

The game’s final content is already complete. What we need now is just a little more time to polish the experience on Xbox and make sure everything runs as smoothly as it should. We want every player—regardless of platform—to have the best possible experience on Day One.

We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support of our community throughout this journey. We know it’s been a long road, and we’ve faced many unexpected challenges, but Relic Hunters Legend is one of our most ambitious projects yet. We owe it to our players to release it in the best shape it can be.

0.14.1 Patch Notes


We’re continuously improving the Relic Hunters Legend experience, and while we prepare for launch, we’ve just released a new patch with exciting updates for you to enjoy — all thanks to the valuable reports and suggestions from our amazing community on Discord and Steam.

Check out what’s new below! 👇

[h2]General Improvements and Fixes[/h2]

  • Nanocloak has been redesigned to increase Dodge Chance by 100% (goes above cap) for 5 seconds when using an Utility Skill. Firing weapons or using Skills will cancel the effect immediately.
  • Tower Bells has been redesigned to remove Stun and Freeze effects from the player, while causing the same effect to enemies nearby. Can only happen once at every 20 seconds.
  • Ultimate Skills can now be cancelled by pressing the same button that activates it once the Intro has ended.
  • Fixed bug that would cause permanent Freeze and Stun when duration was next to 0.
  • Fixed Multiple Special Missions sometimes occupying the same Mission.
  • Fixed Special Missions completion not being tracked.
  • Seven's Frogsuit Hair has now been fixed and properly looks like the icon suggests.
  • Fixed some UI terms that had no localization (such as the DODGE text when you dodge stuff).


[h2]Party Short Code[/h2]

  • Parties now have a short code that allows others to join by inputting them into the Social Window. This will be extremely useful for cross-platform Parties!
  • You'll now see a Steam icon with your display name.


[h2]Ace Tweaks[/h2]

  • Increased radius of the damage (and combo priming effect) caused by Ace's Jetpack Skill, and added a new visual effect.
  • Ace's Hot Sauce Skill Node now also causes the Holo-Sandwich to trigger its explosion immediately when Ace is close enough.


[h2]Panzer Tweaks[/h2]

  • We've made a few changes to Panzer to improve her survivability. Here are the changes:
  • Intimidating Presence Blue Skill Node has been designed to grant Overshields when hitting enemies with Can't Catch Me.
  • Pointy Teeth Blue Skill Node no longer requires Overshields in order to Stun enemies. Stun chance has also been increased and can now reach 100%.
  • Pressure Point Blue Skill Node has been redesigned, it now causes Bite to inflict extra Fire Damage on enemies affected by Burn.

Patch 0.14 – ADN Rework is Here!

The Asteroid Dungeon Nemesis (ADN) is getting a major overhaul in Patch 0.14, bringing a more dynamic, challenging, and rewarding experience to endgame players. We've reimagined ADN to provide better pacing, fresh mission variety, and meaningful rewards to make your time spent in the dungeon more exciting.

What's New in the ADN Rework?


[h2]🔄 Shorter Cycles [/h2]

Tired of waiting a full week for the next ADN cycle? We've shortened the reset time from 7 days to just 3 days, giving you more frequent opportunities to farm, progress, and get more rewards!

[h2]⚔️ Difficulty Revamp[/h2]

  • Regular ADN: Redesigned to become more accessible and rewarding. Enemy levels now range from 35–45, ensuring a smoother difficulty curve for all players.
  • Greater ADN: This high-level challenge has been redesigned to be soloable and extra challenging.


[h2]🎯 More Missions, More Rewards![/h2]

  • 12 Missions Added: We’ve expanded the ADN mission pool to keep things fresh while retiring older, less engaging missions.
  • Greater ADN as the True Pinnacle Activity: Expect the ultimate test of skill with missions that require well-optimized builds and top-tier execution. Conquering these challenges will earn you an exclusive banner title.
  • Better Rewards: Greater ADN rewards are now focused on late-endgame build tweaking stuff, such as the new Orbs and Crystallized Time.


[h2]🛡️ New Gameplay Mechanics[/h2]

Resistance Debuff: ADN now introduces a resistance debuff system, requiring you to balance your offense and defense to survive. Prepare your builds wisely!

[h2]🛠️ Orbs of Modification[/h2]

New item type for modifying Gear pieces and Weapons.

  • Shifting Orb: Rerolls selected item’s Affixes, except High-end ones (Augmented, Set, or Legendary).
  • Utopic Orb: Ultra Rare Orb that rerolls Super Affixes.
  • Orbs drop from Champions and end-of-mission Chests (drop rates increase based on mission Timeline).
  • Utopic Orb is exclusive to one of the Greater ADN Floors.

  • Cycle Duration is now 3 Days (was 7).
  • Each cycle offers 5 Missions for both Regular and Greater difficulties.
  • We've added 12 new Missions and removed 2 old ones, adding to a total of 15 Missions. Missions will rotate randomly every Cycle.


[h3]🏹 Regular Floors[/h3]

  • Missions rebalanced for better accessibility and rewards.
  • Regular Missions now always have one Minor Challenge.
  • Regular Missions now reduce all Resistances by 15%.


[h3]💀 Greater Floors[/h3]

  • Greater Missions provide late-endgame build tweaking materials, including the new Utopic Orb and Fashion Credits.
  • Greater Missions now reduce all Resistances by 30%.
  • They now always have one Major Challenge and one Minor Challenge.
  • New Chapter: Hunter Zero 3, featuring a prestigious Banner and Title for those who complete every Greater ADN Mission.


[h3]🚀 Augmented Affixes[/h3]

  • Two new Augmented Affixes have been added to allow players to be able to increase their resistances cap from 50% to 80%.
  • Elemental: Increases Max Elemental Resistances by 30%.
  • Phyiscal: Increases Max Physical Resistances by 30%.

  • New Icon for Timeless Essence.
  • T4 Materials removed from Treasure Chests and replaced with a mix of Wishful Fragments, Crystallized Time, and Shifting Orbs.
  • Cartographer’s Shards from Faction Quests increased by 50%.
  • Fixed a bug where Difficulty Stats bonuses/penalties were not applied in the first match.
  • Non-Champion enemies now have a cap to Reduced Duration Stats.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Talking Head VO's not to play at times.
  • Fixed a bug where characters did not play Emotes during cutscenes.
  • Fixed a bug that would make it impossible to purchase new Outfit Palettes if above a certain amount of Dye Kits.
  • It's no longer possible to Dodge self inflicted damage, such as Overdriver's.
  • It's no longer possible to Dodge falling damage.
  • Reduced base radius for Raff's Deadly Drop to 6 (was 4).
  • Ace's Rocket Fist now only plays Ace's VO line 20% of the times.
  • Fixed a bug that was preventing Jimmy's Perfect Angle to lose a stack when firing Beam Rifles.
  • Increased Thunder Cannon's chain lightning cooldown to prevent it from starting a stack overflow when combined with Jimmy's Perfect Angle.
  • Trying to collect Materials and Memories that are already at the Cap will now display a warning and bounce off the drop back to the world.
  • Increased the amount of Cartographers Shards dropped from completing a Treasure Map.
  • Increased the amount of Cartographers Shards dropped by defeating Champions on Treasure Maps.
  • Increased Cartographers Shards Cap from 9999 to 99999.



[h3]🎁 Special Mission Rewards Adjustments[/h3]

Hard Timeline:
Alien Carapaces: 8 (was 4)
Nanometal: 16 (was 6)
Energy Core: 4 (was 1)
Strange Goo: 4 (was 1)
Cartographer’s Shards: 400 (was 1200)
The amound of Hard Special Missions was reduced from 4 to 3.

Epic Timeline:
Alien Carapaces: 16 (was 6)
Nanometal: 16 (was 6)
Energy Core: 8 (was 4)
Strange Goo: 8 (was 4)
Cartographer’s Shards: 800 (was 4000)
The amound of Epic Special Missions was increased from 1 to 2.

📝 Cartographer’s Shards were too abundant due to a bug that multiplied rewards. We’ve fixed the bug and increased both the drop rates and the number of shards per completed Faction Quest by 50% to compensate.

  • Wishful Fragments: Use these to purchase World Drop Legendaries. Earn them as rewards from Special Missions, Rebel Ranks, Treasure Chests, and World Drops.

We’re thrilled to announce that Relic Hunters Legend will launch simultaneously on PC and Xbox! This incredible milestone means that players will soon be able to enjoy the game on both PC and Xbox, but with this exciting news comes some necessary adjustments to our roadmap.

To accommodate the process of porting the game to Xbox, we’ve updated our release schedule to ensure the best experience possible across all platforms. While this has shifted some dates, we’re confident it’s for the best reason imaginable: bringing Relic Hunters Legend to a whole new audience while maintaining our commitment to quality.

Updated Roadmap Highlights




[h2]January: Patch 0.13.1[/h2]

This smaller update focuses on bug fixes and adjustments based on the incredible feedback we’ve received since Patch 0.13, while also introducing exciting new features for itemization and endgame. So you’ll be able to check it out later this week:


New Exquisite Items Shop:
A specialized shop where you can buy World Drop Legendaries and Uniques from The Stranger at the End of Time.

New Currencies:
  • Wishful Fragments: Used to purchase World Drop Legendaries. These can be earned as rewards from Special Missions, Rebel Ranks, Treasure Chests, and general World Drops.
  • Crystalized Time: Used to purchase World Drop Uniques. Earned by recycling Uniques and completing Special Missions. This currency will also part of the new rewards in the ADN update next month.




Fixes and Tweaks:
  • Cartographer's Faction Shop now sells all L1 maps, so you can better target farm the Treasure Chest of your choice.
