Patch 1.1 has come - check out the new Orbs of Transformation

[/p][p]Patch 1.1 has come, and now you can check the new system to expand your builds: the Orbs of Transformation![/p][p][/p][p]These mystical tools were designed to add another layer of item customization and give you more freedom to experiment with different paths for your gear. The inspiration came from mechanics in games like Path of Exile and World of Warcraft, where items could gain unique and unpredictable twists. We wanted to bring that same sense of discovery to Relic Hunters Legend, but in a way that fits our game.[/p][p][/p][h2]Binding Orb[/h2][p][/p][p][/p][p] Bound by mechanical rings, this Orb lets you lock one Affix (and on Tier 4 items, sometimes a second one). Once locked, that Affix won’t change when using other Orbs, perfect for protecting a roll you really want to keep.[/p][p][/p][h2]Paradox Orb[/h2][p][/p][p][/p][p] Reality fractures with unpredictable results! Using this Orb can lead to unexpected outcomes, sometimes even a Super Affix. However, there’s a catch: the item becomes Unstable, which means it can’t be modified further unless you use a Harmony Orb.[/p][p]

🔒 Important: The Paradox Orb never destroys or breaks your item; it’s all about embracing the risk of unpredictable power.[/p][p]
[/p][h2]Harmony Orb[/h2][p][/p][p] A calming sphere of emerald light, the Harmony Orb restores stability to an item. It will remove Paradox Affixes and bring back any Disabled Affixes, making the item safe to modify again.[/p][p]

  • [p]Drop in the World[/p]
[p]Orbs can be found naturally as you play. For example, the Paradox Orb is a reward from the final level of ADN.

    • [p]Basic Orbs can be purchased with T4 Materials and Memories.

Patch 1.1 Preview - New Orbs of Transformation

[p]Hunters,[/p][p][/p][p]We’re excited to share a sneak peek at Patch 1.1, coming later this September! [/p][p][/p][p]We already finished the Dark Mode, and it’s now fully implemented across all screens! Your eyes can finally rest easy while you’re blasting through missions, tinkering with builds, or exploring the galaxy.[/p][p][/p][p]But that’s not all! Patch 1.1 also brings 3 new Orbs of Transformation and updates to the Justin Material Exchange Shop, giving you more ways to get rarer Materials and advanced Orbs.[/p][p][/p]
New Orbs 🪐
[p][/p][h2]Binding Orb [/h2][p][/p][p]Bound by mechanical rings, its power seals what it touches against alteration.
Applying this Orb on an item will lock one Affix, with a small chance of selecting a second Affix on Tier 4 Items.[/p][p][/p][p]A Locked Affix will not be changed when using other Orbs. Use this to Lock in a Super Affix or an Affix that you really want to keep.[/p][p]
[/p][h2]Paradox Orb[/h2][h2] [/h2][p][/p][p]Purple arcs dance across fractured planes, bending reality into unpredictable outcomes. Applying this Orb on an item will have unexpected consequences. Some of them might even be positive.[/p][p]
Warning: the item will become Unstable and will no longer accept any modifications from the Item Workshop or from other Orbs, with the exception of the Harmony Orb, which removes the Unstable state.[/p][p][/p][h2]Harmony Orb[/h2][p][/p][p][/p][p] A sphere of calming emerald-like light, weaving broken matter back into wholeness. Using this Orb on an Unstable item will remove any Paradox Affixes and restore any Disabled Affixes. The item will no longer be Unstable.[/p][p][/p][p][/p]
Justin Material Exchange Shop changes 💱

  • [p]Purchase Orbs with T4 Materials and Memories.
    [/p]
  • [p]Convert High-end Materials for other ones (i.e: convert 50x Set Emblems for 25x Augmentation Modules).
    [/p]
  • [p]Trade in a bunch of Shifting Orbs for any other Orb.[/p][p][/p]
[p]Patch 1.1 is offering new tools to take your builds even further. Turning Off the Lights (On Purpose!) – Dark Mode Test Arrives

[p]Hunters,

It’s finally time to dim the lights, on purpose this time! We’re rolling out the first test version of Dark Mode in Relic Hunters Legend, and we can’t wait to hear what you think.[/p][p][/p][p]Dark Mode has been one of the most requested features from our community, and this is just the beginning. Since it’s still in testing, not all screens have been fully switched over yet, but we wanted to give you an early look so you can share your feedback, ideas, and suggestions. Your input will help us polish and perfect this feature for the full release.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]We know some of you love playing late at night, and now your eyes can rest easy while you’re hunting relics across the galaxy. After all, it’s not just about saving the universe, it’s about saving your retinas, too. 🌙👀

To activate Dark Mode:[/p][p]Just go to OptionsGraphics → toggle Dark Mode on. [/p][p][/p][p]While we were busy flipping the light switch, we also tackled a pesky bug:[/p]
  • [p]Stored items equipped on other Hunters will no longer be sent back to the Backpack when leaving a Mission.[/p]
[p][/p][h2]Xbox Save Issue
[/h2][p]We also want to keep you updated on a save file bug currently affecting only Xbox players, as some of you may have the game here and on the console.[/p][p]
Right now, there’s an issue causing the game to create save files much larger than they should be on Xbox. If your save file grows beyond 200MB, the Xbox system may fail to sync it to the cloud, which could result in loss of progress.[/p][p][/p][p]So if you have the game on this platform as well, we recommend:
[/p]
  • [p]If you play on Xbox: Please keep an eye on your save file size. If it grows too large (200MB), stop playing the game, as your progress may not carry over.[/p]
  • [p]Even if you try to play in Offline Mode (on the console, not only in-game), your save file may continue to grow. Once the console is put back online, the Xbox will try to sync it again, and this can corrupt your save.[/p]
  • [p]Additionally: If your save grows too large, you may also become unable to enter matches, even while playing offline, receiving the error message: “Failed to connect to the backend server.” This issue is also tied to the same save bug.[/p][p][/p]
[p]We already have a fix in development and will let you know as soon as it’s live on Xbox. [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Thank you so much for your patience and support as we continue improving Relic Hunters Legend. "Dark Mode" is Coming Soon!

[p]Hey Hunters,[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you so much for your support during the 1.0 launch!

Your feedback has been extremely positive, and although the game hasn't sold very well so far, we are seeing super good retention metrics and Review scores - which means you seem to be having FUN![/p][p][/p][p]However, there's a bright, white, blinding elephant in the room: the UI is super bright and some of you are extremely annoyed by that.

We are happy to announce that we've been working on this feature in the dark (pun intended) for a while, and are now close to being able to release it!

[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]This game has a gazillion UI screens, so it's a lot of work, but we are getting there!

1.0 Hotfix 1 is Live

[p]Hey Hunters, Quick hotfix after a couple of days of the 1.0 launch. The game is looking very stable across the board, both in multiplayer and single-player. The main concern at the moment seems to be the brightness of the menus, so we are working on a solution and hope to have more information for you today. The hotfix changes are as follows:[/p]
  • [p]Stats Screen was causing massive framerate spikes.[/p]
  • [p]Ace's Flurry Skill Node Buff now appropriately buffs Critical Damage (it was actually reducing the stat).[/p]
  • [p]Raff's Wrench and Keytar Blast damage displayed on tooltip updated.[/p]
  • [p]Paradoxal Heart's Affix has been translated to all languages.[/p]
  • [p]Contagion explanation given by DeathanatorX has been updated on all languages.[/p]
  • [p]Duducan Ducannon name has been translated to all languages.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed issue on Memory Tooltip that would fail to properly display the active Hunter's name in Chinese.[/p]
  • [p]Demo progress will now properly be transferred to full game version (this broke on the last demo published). This will either happen automatically or will display a message for the player to let them know they can transfer the progress via the Support menu.
