Soundscape VR: 2017 News

Today we release an upgrade to Soundscape's lighting game wide. Lights now look more beautiful and realistic than ever before with new and improved tone mapper and color grading upgrades. Also included is a variety of bug fixes and visualization improvements, particularly targeting Vive controller fixes. Enjoy a new Soundscape more gorgeous than ever before!

Today Soundscape VR releases our second audio-reactive virtual world to explore - Crystalline Summit. Crystalline Summit is not just a new Soundscape venue, but a new Soundscape world full of secrets waiting to be found. Explore and discover, draw and create, relax and watch - all are equally amazing experiences. Turn on your favorite music from any source or service on your PC, boot up Soundscape, and slip into another dimension where you create your own visually stunning experience. There are no beatmaps that need to be painstakingly made and modded here, Soundscape handles that all automatically! You just play your favorite songs and enjoy, it's that easy!

In addition, there are countless changes improving the core gameplay, new player experience, music reactivity, controls, visual effects, and so many more additions like dozens of new psychedelic audio-reactive effects you can use to paint effects through the air around you or alongside you as you soar through the sky. Try to keep your jaw off the floor as you watch the geometric shapes you are drawing out of your motion controllers warp and morph around you as they unwind and react to your favorite music.

Soundscape now allows you to draw and paint inside the world with new everlasting audio-reactive brushes to create all kinds of unique works of art! In single-player mode these effects last indefinitely, and in quick play they stick around for 5 minutes! There are 13 different neon colors and shifting hues that shuffle automatically while reacting to your music to let you decorate the Soundscape venue with your own personal touch! Check out the newly updated control mappings in game, and have fun experimenting and using these new brushes in conjunction with the other artistic effects! Additional controls and customizations for these will be coming soon!

Very excited to announce the launch of a new update that adds TWENTY THREE brand new psychedelic visual effects to draw within Soundscape!!!!! These new geometric effects are more incredible and creative than ever before, they are some of the most mind-melting visuals you have ever seen - I have handcrafted each to morph and warp in front of your face as you paint them through the air around you. And of course, they are all fully music reactive! They are super easy to use too because they are all tied to the environmental effects button - now you can create insane effects both near and far at the same time with a single button press!
