Raft Beta Branch 1.1.08

[p]Hey Rafters![/p][p][/p][p]As some of you know, we have a Beta branch for the PC version of Raft here on Steam which, among some other quality of life changes, lets you cross-play together with rafters on PlayStation and/or Xbox. We just released a small patch for the Beta branch which fixes a few bugs and adds some more voice chat options.[/p][p]We are currently trying to pinpoint an annoying bug that has been popping up among some of the players on the Beta branch and we would love if you could give us a hand in trying to find the issue! So, what do you need to do? Easy, just hop over to the Beta branch, play as you normally would, and let us know over at our discord if you encounter any issues. It's especially interesting for us if you get an error message when trying to join a friends world, saying "error 63". [/p][p][/p][p]If you want to try the Beta branch, please follow these steps;[/p][p][/p][p]1. Go to your Steam Library, right click Raft and choose Properties.[/p][p]2. In the new window, navigate to Betas on the left hand panel.[/p][p]3. In the Beta Participation drop-down menu, choose 'beta'.[/p][p]4. Restart Steam to make sure the game updates.[/p][p][/p][p]Thank you![/p]

Raft Juicer recipes and how to craft it

If you're playing this open-water survival game, you need to make sure you get a Raft Juicer. Why? Because it greatly quenches your thirst, it gives you an anti-thirst bonus, and it's a fun way to display your fruit collection. If you manage to get your hands on the Spicy Pineberry or Redbeet Shot recipes, you can even get a swimming speed bonus or health bonus respectively.

The basics are simple: place up to four types of fruit on the Raft Juicer table, and press 'start cooking' to create a drink. When the drink is done (this takes a few seconds), equip a Drinking Glass and fill it up. Of course, make sure the Juicer has a battery, but beware: don't use random fruit. You can find most of the Juicer recipes in loot boxes, but the Spicy Pineberry and Redbeet Shot are bought from the Trading Post using Raft Trash Cubes. Want to try crafting in another game? Turn your attention to the Grow a Garden recipes list to get started in a similarly delicious Roblox adventure.

Playstation® 5, XBOX and Cross-Play!

The survival classic Raft is officially setting sail on the PS5 and XBOX SERIES X/S this December 4th as a surprise release!
Console players can now experience the thrill of survival at sea from the comfort of their couches. Build, scavenge, and explore the vast open ocean with all the immersive features that the PS5 and XBOX SERIES X/S has to offer.

Steam Version Updates!

There is also some great news for all you PC players! A new version of the game is available on the Raft Beta Branch that lets you enjoy the open ocean in new ways!
Cross-play
Survival is better with friends! Crossplay ensures that you can join forces with players across platforms, uniting the entire community in the quest for survival.
Controller Support
If you want to enjoy Raft on the big screen, or simply just put your mouse and keyboard to the side, you can finally lean back and enjoy full controller support!
In Game Voice Chat
Communication is key when venturing out onto the great seas! That is why we have now added crisply clear voice chat support, directly in Raft!
Opt in!
Adding all these features means shuffling around a bit in the good ol’ code base. To be on the safe side, all these new features will currently only be available on our Beta branch here on Steam. This lets us stress test the new features, gather your feedback and make sure everything is as it should once we release it to the masses.

So, if you want to try the new version follow these steps;

 1. Go to your Steam Library, right click Raft and choose Properties.
 2. In the new window, navigate to Betas on the left hand panel.
 3. In the Beta Participation drop-down menu, choose 'beta'.
 4. Restart Steam to make sure the game updates.
