Version 8.6C + Future Plans

I think compiling on a different computer fixed the problem where the game would occasionally go into windowed mode while loading a map. Also fixed a few minor script bugs thanks to reports. I dare anyone to find another script bug.

New Brigand prequel set in the Republic of Texas soon from a user (you probably know who), no set date yet. This person will then carry on the Brigand engine while I keep going with my 2D strategy engine, Warlordocracy.



Warlordocracy will be equally as modable as Brigand, and it will also allow you to import your entire party and list of reputations from one story to another. It will be set up more like the original Neverwinter Nights campaign, each chapter being a separate story that gets unlocked. This way if you want to start a new character, you can choose any chapter you want and you don't have to play through the same opening over and over.

SCRIPTS:
-Increased Charisma requirement from 20 to 30 to charm hostile hounds with Man's Best Friend ability.
-Fixed bug where Tio would spawn twice outside the Pochutla Warehouse walls if you go both ways in Chapter 2 (like your mom).
-Fixed bug where Junebug would train you with maxed out skills after Pochutla seige.
-(NIGHTMARE) Removed Silencers ability from character INIT scripts (replaced with Woodcraft).

Version 8.6

Thanks to Quadrajet for the chupacabras in NIGHTMARE. I don't know why I made a game set in post-apocalyptic Mexico and didn't have chupacabras. Also listed a bunch of script bugs I already fixed. Complete list of fixes below.



SCRIPTS:
-Fixed bug with the Family Reunion objective.
-Run Like Hell now increases Agility by 20 when you have 35 base Agility (instead of 40 base).
-(PANAMA) Removed Methane for Cooper objective when he joins the team.
-(PANAMA) Fixed bug where Cooper wouldn't leave team in tunnels if you are currently controlling him.
-(PANAMA) Added burned skulls to indicate where the fire loa spawn.
-(PANAMA) Made map script in Deep Canal safe to edit in Chapter 0.

RESOURCES:
-Fixed name for the Loa face BMP (used to be called "restless").
-Added a face image for chupacabras.
-(NIGHTMARE) Reverted back to old hound textures.

STORY FILES: (requires starting a new game)
-(PANAMA) Added burned skulls to indicate where the fire loa spawn.
-(NIGHTMARE) Added a few more baddies and increased final boss Vitality from 80 to 99.

Version 8.5 + Bundle

Full list of updates, for both the original and Nightmare DLC. Almost done. Thank you to the obsessive bug reporters. Also there is a bundle with all DLCs.

SCRIPTS:
-Fixed bug with friendly hounds leaving your team when you try to control them directly.
-Fixed bug where Security Worm Implant ability could let you kill Junebug prematurely, breaking the story.
-Fixed bug where message repeats in Chapter 2 about team leaving (Gao, Carmen, ghouls, hounds).
-Fixed bug where you could automatically report Ricardo is dead to Tio starting Chapter 4.
-Fixed bug where Leon would accept the Conspiracy Intell while hostile.
-Fixed bug where Defecting Scientist objective would not be erased.
-Fixed bug with the Family Reunion objective.
-Adjusted faction respect changes while dealing with Fingers.
-Improved Tsunami P-Rifle slightly.

Version 8.4B

Gonna have to start a new game in NIGHTMARE to see it, but thanks to Quadrajet. Also added some dialogue and text about the previous monster he added. No spoilers.

EDIT: Also, I'm gonna go take a long-ass vacation and hopefully find some mushrooms in Oregon so I can reset my mind and keep going on the new project. But there will be player-created shit coming soon.
