UnderMine 0.3.3 | Hot Fixes



Features:
  • UnderMine now integrates with Discord on Windows to broadcast real-time information about your run!
  • Added 1 new major curse that didn’t make the cut for the last patch
Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed an issue allowing players to softlock themselves by attacking keys in the early game
  • Removed a confusing visual effect from gold ore in the dungeon
  • Fixed an issue that would grant you an additional bomb every time you reloaded into the Hub with a bomb relic equipped
  • Refactored the way that hardmode boss achievements work to be less prone to breakage

UnderMine 0.3.2 | Small Update



Features:

Players can now adjust their Summoning Stone level from the pause menu (it can be viewed at any time, but can only be adjusted when the peasant is in the hub)

Balance Changes:
  • Boss health and damage now scales by 25% per Summoning Stone level, down from 50%
  • The health and damage of normal enemies, hazards, and traps now scales by 5% per Summoning Stone level (these did not scale before)
  • Noori’s cursed fireballs now track slower, making them easier to dodge and jump over
  • Noori now pauses for longer when snuffing an individual torch, giving more opportunity for damage
  • Mortar now pauses for longer when collecting his orbs, giving more opportunity for damage
Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed a save/load issue with Pilfer Credit Card
  • Fixed a save/load issue with Mushroom
  • Fixed a freeze that could happen if Witch’s Brew gave you the Bottle Stopper curse
  • Fixed several Dungeon encounters where rocks would spawn inside of walls
  • Throwbo is now 32% less likely to get stuck on the scenery

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a crash related to loading Sho’guul’s lair
  • Fixed a crash relating to dying while holding a Pilfer Credit Card
  • Cooldown timers now scale correctly with status indicators and have been recolored
  • Fixed an issue with Doom Blade and the Pendant relics that prevented them from correctly calculating their stats when reloading from save state
  • Corrected some ownership issues preventing fireballs that had been reflected by Grimhilde’s Mirror from destroying their target
  • Cleaned up some layering issues around locked and rocked chests
  • Fixed an issue preventing some Mortar-related achievements from being obtained
  • Waking Light is now less likely to shoot you from across the floor
  • Big Chests now proc LockPick
  • Fan of Knives still procs even if the initial blow kills the target
  • Igniting your pickaxe while carrying lots of Gust stacks now looks better
  • Fixed a graphical issue causing burning oil to become invisible
  • Fixed some issues causing Dibble to stock too many relics and to restock his store after reloading
  • Fixed the cost scaling of Black Rabbit’s lever game
Balance Changes
  • Gold cap has been raised from 100,000 to 999,999
  • Relic Eater now destroys itself after eating 1 relic
  • Mutation now has a 50% chance of activating
  • Reduced the cost of Golden Popcorn to 550 from 850
Other Changes
  • Cleaned up some font-related issues across various languages
  • Glasses upgrade no longer allows you to see Mortar’s (beefy) arm HP
  • The invulnerability status granted after defeating a boss is now much less abusable
  • Glasses now allows you to see the HP of Toadvine and Bathcat
  • Added an audio cue when entering a room with an Imp in it

UnderMine 0.3.0 | Cursed Update



Features
  • Discover Sho’guul, the Opulent Demon. He only appears under certain conditions, but if you do manage to find him you can make a trade for some pretty powerful items.

  • New Legendary Relics that can only be found in Sho’guul’s lair. These new relics can increase your power, or significantly alter your playstyle, but they come at a cost.

  • Boss Reworks - Mortar and Noori have added new moves to their arsenal and provide an even bigger challenge than before.

  • Some fun surprises for Hallowe’en

  • A new Graphics Quality setting has been added to the menu in order to support low-end machines. Currently, this setting only affects Noori, but will be expanded in the future.

  • Now available in Russian!
Content
Added 20 new Relics:
  • Aphotic Charm - Heals upon entering a new encounter for each curse applied to the peasant
  • Battle Standard - Get increased swing, throw, and movement speed upon entering a new encounter
  • Chakram - When thrown, the pickaxe hovers in one spot and can be reclaimed by throwing again
  • Emperor’s Crown - Grants the stats of the Queen and King crowns as well as an additional blessing
  • Doom Blade - Increases damage for each curse applied to the peasant
  • Glass Cannon - Dramatically increases damage, and dramatically reduces maximum health
  • Hot Cross Bun - Increases maximum health by 1
  • Kurtz’ Stache - A locked box that opens when enough curses have been picked up
  • Lockpick - Opens doors without keys but has a chance to break
  • Lucky Charm - The peasant has a chance to live every time he takes lethal damage
  • Lucky Lockpick - The effects of Lockpick and Lucky Charm, but it can not break
  • Miniaturizer - Find small chests in all normal chests
  • Mjölnir - Cast an AOE lightning burst when grabbing the pickaxe
  • Karmic Scale - The peasants health is reduced to 5, but all damage and healing are changed to 1
  • Pocket of Holding - Gain two temporary bombs for each new encounter
  • Rabbit Gloves - Makes one item free in every shop
  • Pilfer Credit Card - Allows the peasant to go into debt, but it must be repaid
  • Fan of Knives - When enemies are hit with a ranged critical strike they fire daggers out that can themselves critical strike
  • Inverter - When losing a curse, gain a blessing
  • Sequence Breaker - Allows the peasant to teleport to the pickaxe when pressing the throw button again
Added 6 new Potions:
  • Absolution - Removes 5 curses, if the peasant has 5 curses
  • Cure All - Cures everything in an area
  • Purification Potion - Removes all curses, keys, bombs, and reduces the peasant’s health to 1
  • Witch’s Brew - Gives 13 curses
  • Blood Chalice - Spawns a couple items for 25% health, but has a chance of dropping another Blood Chalice
  • Ghostly Ichor - Heal over time, but grows stronger with curses
Added 3 new Blessings:
  • Demolition - Increase bomb radius
  • Mighty Hurl - Increase throw distance
  • Regeneration - Gain health for each new encounter
Added 7 new Curses:
  • Bottle Blight - Carrying potions into new encounters deals damage to the peasant
  • Bottle Stopper - Lose two potion slots
  • Mutation - Turns all relics into potions
  • Plague - Food is half as effective and may poison you
  • Relic Eater - Destroys a relic for every 50 enemies killed
  • Secrecy - Can no longer spot hidden walls
  • Spatial Sickness - Teleports the peasant to a random location when taking damage

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a bug where switch costs weren’t disappearing in a Halls encounter
  • Fixed an issue where spider eggs were spawning over pillars in a Halls encounter
  • Fixed a bug where the cost of Black Rabbit’s lever game was not scaling
  • Fast Metabolism no longer inadvertently stacks
  • The Hub navigation mesh has been rebuilt in order to prevent Sequence Breaker problems
  • Mrs. Rat’s crate now heals at a slightly slower rate
  • Immolation, Large Ember, and Radiance now perform better
  • Resource kickers no longer block mouse clicks
  • Fixed some issues causing Black Rabbit’s lever game chests to spawn in the wrong position
  • Cleaned up some old behavior that caused items in the secret shop to take damage when launched against the wall
  • Fixed a Goldmine encounter where a minecart was carrying a chest
  • Tenderfoot now has the proper curse border
  • Fixed an issue where players could constantly respawn a ghost bridge in a Halls encounter
  • Fixed an issue where Powder Shortage and other modifiers were conflicting with each other, producing weird stat results
  • Fixed an issue causing Slow Metabolism not to work as intended
  • Cleaned up some audio bugs causing a low-pass filter to persist after restarting in the Hub
  • Improved mouse-aim and UI support for non-16:9 resolutions
  • Fixed a few scaling issues with minimap icons
  • All bomb relics now correctly give +1 bomb
Balance Changes
  • Re-adjusted shop price scaling. Shop prices now scale per zone and per boss defeated
  • Dibble’s Emporium gold costs in the Hub now scale at the same rate as the shop in the Goldmines
  • Increased the purchase price of Golden Popcorn
  • Increased the purchase price of Pilfer Ring
  • Increased the purchase price of Sewing Kit
  • Increased the purchase price of Floating Skull
  • Increased the purchase price of Golden Powder
  • Guidance now does 20% less damage with each bounce
  • Golden Powder now extracts gold from all rocks but does not drop gold on its own
  • Noori and Mortar have been significantly tuned and rebalanced
  • Resurrected bosses now drop a special resource chest instead of loose gold
  • Resurrected bosses no longer drop thorium
  • Golden food and cooked food can no longer be re-rolled
  • Nullstone and Antimatter no longer trigger from the same damage event. Both now activate your grace period timer
  • Certain MaxHP modifiers (specifically Mushroom and Hot Cross Bun) are now applied after percent-based modifiers
  • Gust and King’s Crown no longer add a piercing modifier to your throw
  • Freeloader Draught is now a rare potion
  • Adventurer’s Whip is no longer available for purchase at the pilfer shop
  • Branding Bombs no longer spawn their projectiles if there are no enemies in the room
  • Branding Bombs are now a legendary relic and no longer require crafting
  • Boot relics now each give +5% move speed
  • Collecting 3 Will o’ the Wisps now deals damage to you in addition to applying a curse
Other Changes
  • Selt has been promoted to Queen
  • Golden food has been reworked:
    Heals for half the amount of regular food
    Counts as both gold and food in almost all cases
    Sells for its gold value + half its food value
  • Golden Delicious now doubles the base healing of golden food
  • Keyboard movement now changes direction when pressing a new key, rather than releasing and old key
  • HUD status indicators are now sorted in Relic -> Blessing -> Potion order and show cooldown timers via a progress bar
  • Bramble Vest now throws a spray of daggers when you get hit
  • Gecko’s Foot now picks up Thorium
  • Removed the Dynamism blessing (this was necessary to support new unique throwing items that significantly change how your thrown weapon works)
  • Certain sets of relics are now “slot-unique”. This means that only one at a time can be carried in a particular slot. Bomb relics have always operated this way and now Guidance, Chakram, and Sequence Breaker do as well
  • Iron Branch has been replaced by a stackable relic named Hot Cross Bun as the fallback relic when the pool has been exhausted
