[h2]President's Day Surprise 2024 DLC[/h2]


Greetings, defenders! We're kicking off October the scariest way we know how—U.S. politics! Introducing the President's Day Surprise 2024 DLC, featuring both current presidential candidates; Kamala Harris and Donald Trump, as well as Abraham Lincoln and Elon Musk. Releasing with launch-discount, you can save 10% on this DLC until Saturday, October 10th!

Much like the 2012 President's Day Surprise DLC, these figures will take the form of hero costumes;
  • Kamala - Costume for the Initiate. No stat changes.
  • Trump - Costume for the Squire. This costume exchanges a portion of the Squire's health for a boost in movement speed, similar to the Squire's Mitt costume.
  • Elon - Costume for the Monk. No stat changes.
  • Lincoln - Costume for the Ranger. This costume exchanges a portion of the Ranger's movement speed for a boost in health and damage, similar to the Ranger's Tuxedo costume.

[h2]Balance Changes[/h2]
  • Increased speed of Siege Mechs on Ruthless.
  • Reduced the max health of Orcs and Dark Elf Mages by 50% on Tavern Incursion assault phase.

[h2]Fixes[/h2]
  • Added Ruthless speed multiplier to Sand Wyverns.
  • Fixed material and icons for Ruthless for Tavern Incursion djinns.
  • Fixed an issue where the Squire would die immediately after completing invulnerability phases on Eternia Gauntlet.
  • Fixed an issue where the Squire would occasionally be killed for being stuck in the cage too long on Eternia Gauntlet.
  • Fixed an issue where the floor objective zones would sometimes not turn on when switching phases on Eternia Gauntlet.
  • Fixed new 'The Downpour' event item doing more damage than intended.

Dungeon Defenders Patch 9.5.4

[h2]Balance Changes[/h2]
  • Increased 'Baby Demon Lord' ranged damage back to where it had been before being unintentionally nerfed.
  • Increased 'Baby Demon Lord' melee damage by 20%.
  • Reduced 'Zamira's Mount' attack animation speed by 33%.
  • Increased 'Hot Air Balloon' attack animation speed by 62.5%.
  • Made True Boss Rush bracers always roll Ultimate quality, so you are always able to upgrade a stat to its maximum potential.

[h2]Fixes[/h2]
  • Doubled Boss Rush Genie King damage threshold.
  • Fixed 'Ruthless' goblins appearing on all difficulties of Raining Goblins.
  • Implemented a potential fix for the texture of the scroll bar on the game select menu UI.
  • Fixed spawner issues on Ruthless Moraggo and King's Game maps.
  • Removed sound from 'Baby Ancient Dragon' attack animation.
  • Fixed an issue where enemy Ruthless damage multipliers were not being applied properly.

[h2]Eternia Gauntlet[/h2]
  • Fixed the teleport location when you fall off the map on Wave 15.
  • Implemented a potential fix for the Squire not teleporting out of their cage in last phase of the fight.
  • Players may now continue fighting the assault bosses for their buffs after killing all cores.
  • Moved the lamp post by the forge on assault.
  • Reduced Wave 17 yellow attack duration from 7s to 6s.
  • Reduced difficulty of Wave 17 yellow attack floor patterns.
  • Snowman slowing effect changed from a 50% to 30% reduction in movement speed.
  • Adjusted visual for Squire fire to further disambiguate it from 'Mischief Maker' fire.
  • Reduced damage radius of Final Jade's floor fire by 25%.
  • Increased Final Amethyst's projectile speed by 50% and reduced fire rate delay from 3.25s to 2.5s.
  • Reduced Squire's melee step velocity by 80%.
  • Changed damage threshold for orbs from 5,000,000 to 2,000,000.
  • Fixed the eastern heal orb on 'Euclase' fight not healing players.

Dungeon Defenders Patch 9.5.3

[h2]Balance Changes[/h2]
  • Made all Halloween Spooktacular weapons have level 70 requirement on qualities above mythic for consistency.
  • Reduced 'Lumeric Staff' base damage by 7.5% to make in on par with the 'Ember Sceptre'.
  • Reduced the health of the Ranger, Monk, and Knight bosses on Ruthless True Boss Rush checkpoint 4 by 15%.
  • Adjusted Challenge: Wizardry enemy number scaling on Ruthless.
  • Reduced all wave 17 enemy HP scaling by 12% in 3-4 player matches on Eternia Gauntlet.
  • Reduced 'Assault Rifle' projectile slowing effect from 80% to 50% on Eternia Gauntlet.
  • Reduced Final Jade health by 33% on Eternia Gauntlet.
  • Reduced Final Amethyst health by 20% on Eternia Gauntlet.
  • Increased Barbarian move speed and increased her knockback on Eternia Gauntlet.
  • Made Warping Core: Challenge Pack II maps start one wave later. Warping Core: Arcane Library starts 2 waves later.
  • Reduced 'Baby Demon Lord' melee damage by 50% (as it was out damaging every pet in the game twofold).
  • Buffed 'Zamira's Mount' damage by 10%.
  • Added 10% movement speed bonus to all Emerald City campaign weapons.

[h2]Fixes[/h2]
  • Fixed enemies not dying after waves end on Spring Valley.
  • Fixed an issue with the assault Jade and Amethyst fight where killing Amethyst would disable invulnerability phases, soft-locking the fight on Eternia Gauntlet.
  • Fixed an issue in wave 17 where a player respawning inside damage volumes would lose control of their character on Eternia Gauntlet.
  • Fixed an issue in Euclase fight where the start of each phase would have a long delay before floor attacks began on Eternia Gauntlet.
  • Fixed an issue in wave 17 where floor runes would not appear at the start of the second or third phase on Eternia Gauntlet.
  • Fixed Barbarian icon on Eternia Gauntlet.
  • Adjusted wave 17 Ruthless floor pattern's damage volume size on Eternia Gauntlet.
  • Fixed visual for Barbarian turtle aura on Eternia Gauntlet.
  • Fixed issue where the player would sometimes shoot upwards while standing inside floor patterns on Eternia Gauntlet.
  • Added lock icon to Ruthless difficulty label if Nightmare difficulty is not unlocked.
  • Changed Eternia Gauntlet to Challenge: Eternia Gauntlet for consistency with other challenges.

[h2]Quality of Life[/h2]
  • Removed build timers from most maps if Hardcore Mode is not active.
  • Reduced ogre counts on Ruthless difficulty by 40% for most maps. The Campaign versions of the base Campaign; Glitterhelm, and the four 'Shards' maps are unaffected, as well as all Challenge maps except Temple of Polybius.
  • Made enemies have a chance to drop extra items on Ruthless difficulty to make Ruthless Survivals more appealing.

  • The 'Easy' difficulty icon is no longer stretched.
  • True Boss Rush bracers can now roll negative stats.
  • All maps now progress to wave 35 on Survival when in Ruthless Difficulty.
  • Baby boss pet rewards are now correctly distributed on their respective maps' final wave of Survival Mode.
  • Fixed level requirement of 'Baby Demon Lord' being set to 78 on all qualities.
  • All enemies now unalive after assault on Ruthless difficulty Temple of Polybius.
