Yo, Sorry server was down. It wasn't a server bug, memory got cramped. We were trying gitlab.

It is awesome that all I needed to do was just stop gitlab and free up like 3 gig or something and it was not even serious server bug! We don't need gitlab on this server anyway. :)

Apologize for any inconvenience. I know how people like to play a lot. I need to add a system to gift triderium for apology sake in the future, lol. On the todo list. Now, I just hope you enjoy the game back up. We're rapidly beginning MMO phase.

So, targetting and some bugs are fixed.

The old targetting system was like 11 dimensional math I had to do for each new ship or building I made.

The new targetting system is better, and has some small issues, but good for now until we make it better.

What is really exciting is that this is the last major patch we had to do before starting on working on this unique MMO with TONS AND TONS of stuff, some of which no other MMO has such as:


1) Unlimited action players in the same zone allowed by networking, only 3d rendering is a bottleneck.

2) Fun Pulpy Criminals that you want to take out.

3) A 4x system, but you're not emperor, they're all bots. They war against each other, and you have to deal with the consequences and join who's side you like or is paying well. This is the beginning of a whole new style of game, where all the NPCS are interacting with each other and form companionships and get grudges etc.

4) On top of that, a Grand Space Opera driven by a LIVE GAME MASTER system. You can literally change the landscape permanently. You can have your name etched in the history of the Universe, or in Crime Logs. Etc etc. Live Game Master games NEVER EVER EVER get boring, unlike traditional MMOS that once you see everything, that's it, look for a new game or update. This game can last forever, and doesn't need new players every 10 years to keep going.

5) A first person shooter style game will be added sort of like Fall out with lots of skills.

6) Customize your player by choosing race (No avatar fun), and getting stats assigned. Later you can change characters, and the old ones you had still play along side you like crew! If I get fancy, maybe I can make it remember some of your character's mannerisms for faux role play sayings.

7) There is a talent tree that allows you to take all sorts of different paths to upgrade your character.

8) Unlimited leveling, but power ends up being a curve with diminishing returns so hard core players don't have too too much advantage on people who spend a couple hours each night.

9) Trading

10) Allegiance system so if you follow someone, they gain some experience when you do, and the expectation is that they help you with resources.

11) Phantom Enemies: Enemies only seen on your client, they are spirit fighters who only exist on your dimension. This helps so other players don't clear zones with nothing for you to shoot at.

12) Explore the ground of planets, literally to scale. You could spend years walking around Mars for instance.

So many many other things coming. The earliest will probably be 3 months from now. I'm actually looking for world builders on top of the guys who say they want to work. I find maybe 1/20 people who say they want to work actually work, so I could use many many people. Just leave a comment below if you want to help make Worlds for this game.

Not to sympathy berate you, home situation been rough.

The day we buried my grandmother, my uncle had issues, and long crazy story short, I got evicted by shotgun and threats. This is your standard tale of, "People who used to be cool, gone lunatic over wanting 'inheritance stuff' ".

So after a week +, I finally am about to get my stuff settled down here. Then my mom and I's politics clash, and I leave. My dad gets me a place. Mom makes ammends. Now I have two places. My mom's to chill with (has internet), and be cool, and my dad's old store which I can really beautify with my plans of making resin casts with gems in them, aka fake bricks. I want to do the whole place up like a cathedral almost, and it won't be too expensive. Rough cut gems are pretty cheap.

Anyway, I still have to move stuff from place to place, get internet in the place dad gave me. I feel I owe you an apology for taking over a month on a hot patch that should have taken no more than 3 days. I don't know how much you know about software engineering, but you're most productive when your mind is at rest, which mine has been barely in 2 weeks. So I just been playing LOL. Maybe tomorrow I'll get back on the Starfighter General horse. I want to get to the MMO part where we become creative, funny and have exploration fun.

This will be a really fun year. I hope everyone stays safe and has good food to eat and does their 2 hours of exercise a day even Karate Kid style work around the house. If you do 2 hours of physical activity each day, you live on average 2 hours longer, so hey, free time. Might as well add more years to your life and more life to your years.

Sorry for the week of lost dev- Grandma died

She owned, was very awesome, nice, inspiring, generous, and gave you permission to do what you want. She was an empowerer of success.

I stayed with my Gran for 20 years coming out of college. I knew her my entire life over 40. Now I live with no one. She needed a lot of care in her last 6 months so I became a care giver, giving 2-17 hours a day, avg 4. I don't know if you know what happens to a caregiver, but they don't care for themselves. I put on a bunch of weight, but I did the right thing helping her, driving her around, getting stuff, and such.

Gran died last Sunday, and don't feel bad, she was Christian and was in pain, so she's chillin with Jesus and my granpa n em. You know I know God is real: www.goodnewsjim.com Jesus wants us to live in goodness and love, repenting of doing evil and avoiding it.

I didn't post a sympathy post anywhere else on the net, people can be mean to Christians, but you guys deserve to know why development was delayed a week.

Expectation by 7 days from now, MMO networking tweaked, workers working on planet orbits with star bases, etc.

It will be an exciting year, Starfighter General MMO, Fighter Fantasy Crystal MMO, and my Linux gaming console.

Currently aiming game objects into targetting window. I've been on this for over a week, lol, its terrible, only have 7-15 buildings to center and it was giving me issues. I should be able to do it now if I take my time. It's weird how Unity changes position when you change scale.

Stabbing at virtual goods.

Polishing off MMO net code.

MOBS/NPC/ENEMIES/MONSTERS/ALLIED DRONE MMO CODE (not trivial)

And of course once my tech guy from India finishes GITLAB, I will be recruiting lots of world makers.
