[p][/p][p]Our migration to the new zkEVM network will be taking place as part of our weekly server reset next Thursday starting at approximately 1pm PST (9pm UTC). Due to the complexity of this update, please allow for 2 to 3 additional hours of maintenance while the team works to implement the migration.[/p][p]NFT Heroes should be fully unstaked before we begin with the weekly reset. To ensure your unstaking request is processed by the time this migration begins, we recommend submitting your request at least 48 hours before the server reset begins. Any NFT Heroes that are still staked during the reset will need to follow our Claim Hero process to be returned to their proper owner. This process may take several days depending on the volume of Claim Hero requests we receive.[/p][p]Early next week, we will be opening up the web-tool you will need to use to link your Kongregate account to your Passport wallet. All NFT owners will need to perform this step even if you have lost access to your current Ethereum wallet. If you have lost access and intend to use the Claim Hero process after the migration, it will be vital that the verified email linked to your Kongregate account matches the verified email linked to your Passport wallet. Also, if you own several NFT heroes over multiple Kongregate accounts, you will need to link a unique Passport wallet to each one.[/p][p]Once maintenance has completed, you should be able to import your NFT Hero from your current Ethereum wallet to your new Passport wallet. There will be no more need for staking and unstaking while on the zkEVM network. This means that your NFT Hero should be playable again soon after you finish importing it. Earlier this month, we announced that our Bitverse NFT Heroes would be migrating to Immutable’s zkEVM blockchain network. We have now confirmed that this migration will be happening on November 6th as a part of the weekly server reset.[/p][p]To make this process as smooth as possible, we are asking that all players unstake their NFT Hero before November 6th. During the server reset, Immutable will be moving NFT Heroes from the current network to the zkEVM network which means this reset could take up to an hour longer than usual. After the migration has completed, you will see your NFT Hero in your current Ethereum wallet once you have added the zkEVM network to it. From there, you will simply need to import your NFT Hero to your new Passport wallet to continue using it in Bit Heroes Quest![/p][p]We have written an FAQ article that details the individual steps required in more depth. In preparation for this migration, we recommend creating a Passport wallet and making sure your current Ethereum wallet is configured for the zkEVM network and linked. If you can not unstake your NFT Hero because you have lost access to your current Ethereum wallet, or if you forget to unstake by November 6th, we will be opening up a Claim Hero process once the migration has been finalized. This process will make use of your Kongregate account to confirm ownership, so make sure the email associated with your Kongregate account is the same email that you use to create your Passport wallet.[/p][p]Please note, the Claim Hero process will require manual review which means it could be a few days before we are able to return your NFT Hero to you. To avoid not being able to access your NFT Hero for a prolonged period of time, we suggest following the migration instruction to the best of your ability and unstaking by November 6th.[/p][p]We will have more to share soon regarding how you will link your Kongregate account to your Passport wallet and how the Claim Hero process will work.
